CHAPTER ONE
Naruto walked down the path back to Konoha in an almost angry mood. The mission him and Kiba had just completed was just far too boring in his mind. A big waste of time and energy. No fights. No action of any kind. Even the cash wasn't that great.
Akamaru, Kiba's canine companion, layed on top of Kiba's jacket hood. He ate big dogbones and played for hours with his wonderful master in his dreams. Probably having a better time then me, Naruto thought. Naruto was just waiting to run up to Tsunade the Fifth Hokage and scream, "COULD YOU GIVE ME A REAL MISSION FOR ONCE!"
"Well that mission sucked!" he said trying to pick up conversation with Kiba. "Yeah," Kiba replied bluntly. "It was worse then picking weeds for old farmers." Naruto felt better knowing Kiba felt as he did. The warm sun reflected of of Naruto's metal headband making it look like Naruto's forehead was a flashlight."But we can't get anything better, The Fifth only gives the exciting missions to Jounin," Kiba said.
Just as Kiba finished his sentence a group of ninja jumped from the bushes and grass like a bolt from the blue. They set of the poisinous smokebombs so quick, Naruto didn't even have time to see what they looked like. And then, Naruto passed out.
