TONFA :: The Original Naruto Fanfic Archive

Welcome to The Original Naruto Fanfiction Archive [TONFA], both new users and old friends alike. TONFA was originally opened in October of 2003, as a fanfiction rec site, however in the interests of creating a place where Naruto fanfiction was the rule rather than the exception, after a period of planning and reconstruction, TONFA opened it's doors in it's current format late July, early August 2004.

Be Prepared

Heyo everyone! Unfortunetly we're still having problems with the site so the moderators and I will be doing a clean up of the site. This means in one week's time (22nd Nov 08) I'll be purging our Juvi-Fic category and deleting ghost members.

Please be prepared for this, if you currently have a story that is in the Juvi-Fic Category please make sure it's up to the latest standards of the rules and we'll move it back into the general reading area.

Main Categories

General Fiction [1261] Any Naruto fanfiction focused without romantic orientation, on a canon character in the current Naruto Universe.

OC-centric [455] Any Naruto fanfic that has the major inclusion of a fan-made character.

Non-Naruto Fiction [213] Self-evident

Het Romance [768] Any Naruto fanfiction with the main plot orientating around different sex couples.

MadFic [153] Any fic with no real plot and humor based. Doesn’t require correct spelling, paragraphing or punctuation but it’s a very good idea.

Unsorted Fiction [62]

Yaoi/Slash Romance [1438] Any Naruto fanfiction with the main plot orientating around male same sex couples.

Fan Ninja Bingo Book [97] An area to store fanfic information, such as bios, maps, political histories. No stories.

TONFA Award Category [9]

Yuri/Femslash Romance [91] Any Naruto fanfiction with the main plot orientating around female same sex couples.

Essays & Tutorials [12] An area to submit intelligent essays debating topics about the Naruto Universe and writing tutorial submissions. All submissions must have basic spelling, paragraphing and punctuation.

Juvi-Fics [55] Because no fic is deleted, if a fic doesn't abide by the rules of the category or author doesn’t respond to mods, it belongs here.

Alternate Universe & Crossovers [353] Where cast of the Naruto Universe are inserted into an alternate universe, eg Inuyasha, High School, Fairytales, ect anything that isn’t the conventional canon.
