Naruto grinned his irresistible grin at Sakura.
“It’s just one date, besides it’s me or Lee”
Sakura leaned her head on his chest.
“Why do you have to make it an ultimatum like that?” Sakura whined. Her voice was that of a child not allowed to burn the midnight oil. Naruto wrapped an arm around the pink haired girl.
“I don’t want to pursue you if you’re not in love with me.”
“Then you don’t really love me!” Sakura shoved his arm off her.
“Sakura you know that’s not true!”
“No Boys ever loved me!” She yelled it like an accusation.
“I do.” Naruto whispered.
“Then prove it to me.”
So he did. He kissed sakura fully on the lips. It developed into a hot, passionate kiss.
When they separated for air they were both panting.
“Do you believe me now?” Naruto asked after a few deep breaths. Sakura responded by burying her face in Naruto’s well-muscled chest and sobbing. Naruto stroked her hair and whispered soothingly to Sakura in an attempt to calm her. The night sky twinkled above them.
“C’mon you can stay at my house tonight.” Naruto said softly. Sakura gave him the: “My mother would disapprove” look. “Ino will cover for you. Or Hinata.” Sakura gave him a different look. “No I wont do anything to you.” She smiled through her tears, which Naruto wiped away with his sleeve.
Sakura carefully grabbed the blonde’s hand and entwined it with hers. They walked to Naruto’s house in a comfy silence.
Upon arrival Naruto popped open the door for sakura who quickly stepped inside. The apartment was slightly messy, but had the look of someone who tried to keep it Semi-clean.
“I’ll take the couch.” Sakura said rubbing her eyes.
“No. I will, you get the bed.” Naruto argued as politely as possible.
Sakura grinned devilishly. “How about we BOTH take the bed?” Naruto smiled.
“If that’s what you want.”
In a few minutes, they were both snuggled into the small bed. In each other’s arms they fell asleep.
