I once was told of a secret,
it's a secret that's sung by the vanishing stars.
the lonesome bird losing it's song to tears,
it whispers,"i wish i was born to be remembered."
just as the voices rise up and reach out,
comes a ray of the sun through a blanket of clouds and doubt.
the crying sky unlocks a secret kept,
it says,"the truth i've found will stay here in my heart."
everything needs love
breathe deep and listen to the raindrops,
fly high over valleys and vast hilltops.
glide down and dive into the deep ocean,
and let the tides flow over your warm emotion.
even at night,the lone stars mourn,
the phrase they learn by the time they're born.
everything needs love
even things that don't love back,
they seem to care which is a known fact.
they just ignore you,so it seems,
none of them really try to be mean.
so love all things,large or small,
they'll love back even if they're not there at all.
don't crush the bug that crawls your way,
maybe the bug just wanted to say 'hey'.
everything needs love
and so begins,the silent moon sleeps,
no one knows if it actually weeps.
with the stars,it always cries,
even if it doesn't want to try.
everything needs love
theres one thing we'll forever have,
eachother it is,which never will be bad.
also is one phrase we'll always love,
we think about it while being touched by a dove.
it's a phrase everyone seems to know,
and that expression is easy to show...
everything....needs love..
