It was black.
Everything was shrouded in darkness.
Where am I? he thinks. Where's Sasuke?
Then he sees it.
He sees his hatred.
It is standing in front of him.
It's the nine-tailed monster that's made his life miserable.
It's smiling at him as if he's done something funny.
Then he sees everything that will happen if he dosen't bring back Sasuke.
Sakura will always be sad and know that he let her down. Everyone else will be dissapointed as well. Nobody will like him. It will be just as before. It will be just like before everybody knew what he could do. And he would be left friendless. But this time he wouldn't have a rival to beat.
I must, he thinks.
I must bring Sasuke back! Not only for his benefit but for mine. I must stay out of the dark hell the beast has brought upon me. And on top of that, I need somebody to be my best rival. And friend!
Then it returns.
The light is back.
Its an endless amount of light that is shining on them.
All of the evil that had just been released was gone. It had been forgotten.
Now they stood as children with the light beating down on them smiling at eachother. Friends.
Then the darkness returned, but it was different.
It was as if he was about to have a dream that would never come.
But the little light that was still shining on him was gone. He knew even with his eyes closed.
THAT darkness had returned.
And it seemed like it would never go away.
