"So each of us has to get a bell from you?" Jiraiya asked, still confused.
"Yes, but one of you won't get a bell and end up tied to the post." Theur sensei, Sarutobi replied.
"But you have three bells and there are three of us." Orochimaru pointed out.
"No, there are four of you."
"No! It's just me, Tsunade and Orochimaru and as far as I know, thats three!" Jiraiya said loudly.
"Jiraiya, you're an idiot. Remember what Sarutobi-sensei said yesterday?" Tsunade cut in with a sigh.
"I'm not an idiot!And yes, I do...okay, I don't. WHat did her say yesterday?"
"That Kayane was transferring to out team." Tsunade replied, matter-of-factly.
"Yes, and she should be here soon." Sarutobi said as Jiraiya opened his mouth to reply.
"Or maybe right now!Look!" Tsunade said, pointing into the clearing.
The others looked up and sure enough, there was a girl their age walking into the clearing. She had medium length light brown hair, pulled up into a high ponytail, with a piec loose and blowing in her face. SHe tucked it behind her ear. She also had ice blue eyes, she was wearing a red mid-driff tank top underneath a black zip hoodie, and a black skirt and flip-flops.Jiraiya was gaping. Tsunade looked at him and rolled her eyes.
"Jiraiya, must you gape at Kayane like a monkey everytime she walks by or looks at you?" Orochimaru asked.
"I do not!" Jiraiya protested.
"Yes you do. Don't deny it. You know you like me. That's why there's a video camera in my room." Kayane stated, standing next to Orochimaru and Tsunade.
"I...You...It was Orochimaru!"
"You idiot!I'm not the perverted one. It's you. Don't deny it" Orochimaru muttered.
"Anyways, lets get on with training." Sarutobi cut in.
"Oh. Sorry, Sarutobi-sensei. I distracted the others. Sorry." Kayane said, looking down.
"It's okay, don't feel bad," Orochimaru said, putting his hand on her shoulder, then he muttered in her ear,"You just stay in the bushes, I'll get a bell for you."
She just smiled. The others looked at her but didn't say anything.
"Alright, Ready,set...GO!" Sarutobi yelled.
Ten minutes later, Tsunade, Kayane and Orochimaru watched as Sarutobi tied Jiraiya to the post. Tsunade and Kayane giggled.
"Don't laugh at me you wenches!!" he yelled.
"Who are you callin' a wench, ya perv?!" Both girls yelled, angrily adn in unison.
"Kayane didn't even do anything!!Orochimaru got the bell for her!Thats not fair!"
"No, it was just smart thinking."
"Yeah!It was smart thinking!"she repeated, sticking her tongue out at Jiraiya.
"Shut up, Kayane!I didn't ask you!" Jiraiya shouted.
"...Orochimaru, Tsunade, Kayane, you can go now."
"YAY!!LET'S GO!" the girls shouted, running toward the village. Orochimaru smirked and followed.
In the vilage, Tsunade said good-bye to the others and went home. Orochimaru turned and started walking away, but Kayane grabbed his hand.
"Oro-kun! Wanna come get some ramen with me?" she asked.
"Uummmm....no, not really..." he replied.
"oh...okay...." she said, letting go of his hand and heading towards her apartment building.
He sighed and ran after her.
"Ky, don't feel bad.If you want I can walk you home."
"Okay!" she replied hugging him,then quickly letting go, "S-sorry..."
"It's okay..." he muttered, blushing.
When they got to her building, they said good-bye, but Orochimaru didn't leave. When Kayane turned around to walk in, he grabbed her hand and turned her around. Her eyes widened when he pressed his lips against hers.
