“Do I have to do this” said Neji “It looks like most of the people here are weak”? “All the teams are required to do it,” replied Gai. “Ok I think ill win this tournament and beat them all just to show you what I can do” Neji said. When Neji said this, Tenten said, “Well I think I’m as good as any boy or even better” then she mumbled, “But Neji might be better than me”. After she said that Neji ran off because it was his turn in the tournament. His first fight was against Rock Lee. All the people in the stadium started cheering. They knew that this was going to be a fight to remember.
As Neji and Rock Lee passed Rock Lee said “Good luck”. Neji just replied, “You know I don’t need it”. All of a sudden Hayate said “Begin”. The battle started with a fierce beginning Out of nowhere with Rock Lee starting with some powerful kicks. As soon as Rock lee was finished with that Neji used Byakugan to get a good view of the fight. “You better watch out Lee” said Neji as he activated this. He started strong to try to finish it early so he could go on and win. Rock Lee tried to hit him in his weak point at the back of his neck. When Neji figured this out he punched Lee with the gentle fist and Lee just felt weak. At that time Neji finished the battle by making Rock Lee trip and fall when he felt weak making him fall. In that fall he hit his head and fainted you could hear the faint sound of Lee’s moans of pain. “The battle goes to Neji” said Hay ate.
Neji now went back to the stands to watch some fights and scan his opponents so he could find an easier way to move on and win. Neji fell asleep during a match between Garra and Shino. He already knew that Garra would win but he was able to watch the beginning of the match. All he was able to see was Garra moving slowly while Shino moved quickly to strike and attack. He ended up falling asleep then later when he woke up close to the end of another match. When he woke up he noticed that Rock Lee was awake.
Rock Lee came up to Neji and told him “I can’t believe that Garra won it was a close fight to”. Obviously Neji just remained quiet. “You know you might want to notice this match it has been the most interesting fight yet” So Neji decided to look at the fight and see what’s going on. By the time he made it to see what was going on he was able to see a kunai flying through the air and hitting someone to the ground his eyes still a little blurry from just waking up. Then he noticed who the people fighting in that round where. He was truly shocked at the outcome. That kunai was flying at Kiba and the winner of the round was Tenten. At that time Neji felt something he never felt before. After he had some time with that feeling inside him he learned that it only happened every time he saw Tenten. After that he realized this emotion was love. “I must have gotten this feeling because she was fighting so well. He had no idea what to do. Before he could say anything to her it was time for his second match and he had to go.
He was wondering who his next opponent would be. So when he made it to the stadium he knew then it would be a hard fight. His second opponent would be tough it was Garra. So when they passed each other Garra just was mumbling some nonsense. Neji just walked on worried that love would get in the way of his fight. He just figured that if he did not see her, he would no be distracted therefore winning the match. So he decided to not look at the stands and he would not see Tenten. All of a sudden he heard Hayate say “Begin” all of a sudden Garra was unusually charging at Neji. So Neji jumped in the air. What he didn’t think is that Tenten was waving at him. Distracted by Tenten Garra was able to attack Neji midair. Everyone was wondering what was wrong with Neji. Then Neji had an idea perfect for his situation. He used his feelings for Tenten to motivate him to win because Tenten was watching. Now the fight truly began with a powerful new-motivated Neji. Now Neji started with gentle fist. Garra was weak and turning weaker every time he tried to use his chakra. Then at that time he used the jitsu eight trigrams sixty-four palms. Garra tried to avoid the jutsu but he could not. Being hit so many times it literally made Garra scream at with his failure at that time Garra fell still screaming. “The match goes to Neji” Hayate said.
After that Neji just went back to the stands to wait for his next match to come up. He waited for his match to come up and ended up nodding off again in to a deep sleep. He had a dream where he and Tenten where together and defeating enemies in a couple team. Eventually in his dream it turned into a nightmare where Tenten ended up getting hurt horribly which resulted in her death. At this time he woke up scared that it was true. So then he noticed that everything was normal and he was still at the tournament. He now heard that he was wanted for the final match. So he went down to the stadium to fight against the last milestone in his way to win the tournament. “Finally I made it to the last match”. “I’m up against who ever thinks they are the best” All of a sudden he met his opponent and he was so shocked he about fainted. His last opponent was Tenten. At that time they passed each other like in all their other fights. They passed each other as opponents not friends. As they passed Tenten said, “Try your best”. “You too” replied Neji. At that time the Hayate said, “Begin” then the fight started. Neji did not know what to do fight and win or give in and lose. While he was thinking Tenten used her scrolls to shoot a kunai at Neji. He dogged the kunai and was still struggling with his heart and his mind. Then he chose to fight back. Running towards her with increasing speed. When he made it to her and was about to punch her. His fist went to her face with a punching motion. Making her fall to the ground. At the sight of seeing the one he loved hurt Neji ran quickly towards Hayate. “I would like to quit,” said Neji. “You have already won this if you quit it will be a tie” replied Hayate. “Yes I would like to quit”.
Since Neji won the match and then quit it was a tie. He let Tenten have the trophy. When Tenten saw Neji again Tenten asked, “Why did you do that”. Neji was having a hard time trying to find the right words and keep his tuff guy personality. He just couldn’t find the right words so he just went for it.
“I really like you Ten-Ten. I’ve recently realized I have feelings for you.” Neji blurted out. Ten-Ten was shocked by this statement but over joyed that he felt the same as her.

The next day Neji deiced that he needed to talk to Tenten about what he said the other day. He got an idea to go on a mission with only him and Tenten. The only mission that he could find was a mission to find and defeat a team of evil ninjas and capture their leader that has made a camp outside the town. So he decided to accept it and tell Tenten about what they are going to do. When he told Tenten this she was happy. Neji said, “First we must beat the Ninja then we will talk after we capture their leader”. As soon as he said this they were off.
They looked everywhere for the evil ninja but could not find them. So they decided to talk while they looked for the ninjas. “I was wondering if you felt the same way I feel about you,” said Neji. Before Tenten could reply they were ambushed by the evil ninjas. They both passed out after the evil ninja’s attacks. When Neji woke up he was in a cage and Tenten was in a cage about 200 feet away him. Between the cages were the 3 ninjas that attacked them. One was skinny, one was fat, and the other one was a skinny ninja with a belt full of kunai and a case on his back that held a sword. They were facing Tenten so they did not see him open his eyes. Quickly Neji closed his eyes a little bit so he could still see what was going on but it looked like his eyes were closed.
He was able to hear them talking. The skinny one said “So who we going to kill first”. The Fat one replied “Lets kill the boy first” “Wait” said the one with the sword. “Why” both the fat and skinny one replied. “First we must report them to our boss then we can kill them” All of a sudden Neji saw the one with the sword blow a whistle then within a minute Neji saw a mysterious man hidden in the shadows. “Who are these people?” said the Mysterious man. “Some kids we found looking for us we knocked them out so they would not tell where we are” “Good that is very good make sure you kill the boy first he is really powerful or at least that’s what I saw at the tournament”. Neji was shocked because he now he knew someone at the tournament has been planning this for a while now if he was able to get in to the tournament without any suspicion.
At that time the mysterious man left and the 3 men got to work. They decided to listen to their boss and kill Neji first. They all went to the cage Neji was in and decided to unlock it. As the skinny and fat one moved toward him. The one with the sword stayed back and told the other ones they had the privilege of killing him. Neji knew now that the one with the sword knew something was going to happen. As the fat guy came closer the skinny one followed behind. When they got close Neji tripped the fat one and he flew back on the skinny one. The skinny one passed out of the power of the fat ones trust to the ground. The fat one hit his head on the skinny one and passed out. At that time the man with the sword took out his all his kunai and got them ready for a counter attack. Neji unknowingly attacked the man and got 3 kunai thrown at him. Neji dodged all 3 and hit him with a punch. “Is that the best you can do?” said the man with the sword. “I was about to ask you the same thing,” replied Neji.
Now as Neji was thinking of a tactic the guy with the sword finally pulled out his sword. Now Neji knew he was in for a rough fight. The man with the sword ran toward Neji with his massively huge sword. Neji dodged a slash from the sword and said “It looked much smaller while it was in the pouch”. “Every one says that right before I kill them” replied the man with the sword. Neji tried to fight against him but was useless he just used his sword to block and cut Neji at every attack he made. At that time Neji collapsed with all the little cuts wounds on his legs and arms. “Any final words?” said the man with the sword. “Look behind you” replied Neji. “You think that would work on me” at that time the man with the sword passed out. There were 3 kunai in his back. “How did this happen” said the man with the sword with a weak breath before he fainted.
While in there little battle Tenten woke up and shot a kunai at the lock and got out of the cage just in time to save Neji. They started walking home talking while carrying the unconscious henchmen. Neji said “Sorry to repeat myself but I was wondering if you felt the same way I feel about you?” Tenten replied, “Yes I do”. “That’s great,” replied Neji. So they went to the jail and turned in the criminals and Neji went home to get ready for their first date.

Tonight was a special night for Neji because tonight was his first date with Tenten. He was not sure where to go on the date so he decided to just wing it. So on his way to pick up Tenten he was thinking of what to do on the date. He did not feel safe on his way to meet Tenten in front of the mountain because on his way there he felt like someone was watching him. When he met Tenten at the mountain he first took her to an Italian restaurant. Even at his date with Tenten he still felt like he was being watched. As soon as they were done eating Neji asked, “What you do you want to do now?” “How about we go to a movie,” said Tenten. So they went to a movie Neji believed that someone was still watching him. When they left the movie they decided to end the date by walking Tenten home. They were halfway to Tenten’s house when Neji lost his felling of someone watching them and now got the felling someone was following them. He turned around to look and he saw a shadow. He told Tenten to wait while he went to check what was happening. He went to check and he felt a horrible pain in his back. Before he knew it he was falling to the ground hearing the faint sound of Tenten’s voice screaming his name with worry right before he passed out.
When he woke up he was in the stadium where the tournament was held. On the other side of the stadium was Tenten passed out. Neji yelled at the top of his lungs “Who did this you will pay for this”. Out of nowhere he heard a voice that sounded familiar “I was hoping you would wake up first now my plan will work even better”. “Who are you” Neji was yelling. “Don’t you remember my voice? If you still need a refresher my son almost killed you if it wasn’t for that retched little girl”. “Where you the boss of the evil ninjas that mysterious man I saw in the shadows”. Yes I was. I did not think you would interfere with my plan. I knew you were a powerful kid because I saw you in that tournament and that’s why you are here”. “What am I doing here then?” “Because of that stupid emotion you have on her that stupid love I did not get the fight I was wanting. So now you will fight and not give up and if you don’t fight her then I kill you and her. If you do fight ill only kill you she wont be a big problem in my plan in the future”. I will fight if it will save her life”.
All of a sudden Tenten woke up asking what was going on. She got the lay down and stood her ground. Neji ran quickly toward Tenten. Tenten just stood their waiting what was going to happen to her. She figured if he just knocks her out then they could leave. When Neji made it Neji kicked powerfully against the wall busting a hole in it for their escape. Telling Tenten to run and tell someone and get some help. Tenten said she would stay and fight but Neji believed that he would stand and fight alone while she gets help to capture the evil boss after he gets what’s coming to him. Tenten followed Neji’s orders and decided to go get help.
As soon as she left the evil man jumped from where he was and into the stadium. “So you little monster you just wont let have my way will you”. “Just one question before I hurt you who are you”. “My name is of little importance just call me Boss”. “Fine oh and look behind you”. Knowing what happened to his son not looking behind him so he looked behind him. All of a sudden Boss felt like he was falling. Finding out he was tricked because there was nothing behind him and he was tripped soon, to be punched. Getting ready to block for a punch Boss got kicked high up in the air. Neji was getting ready to punch him in the face as he came back down knocking him out or damaging his brain horribly. Boss up in the air got a hold of what happened starting to fight back. He griped 2 kunai out of his belt and was getting ready to slash as he got close to Neji. Boss turned his body so his head would be going down first like a missile. When Neji noticed this he got ready for it. Boss got closer increasing speed going faster and faster in till he thought he had Neji for sure. When he almost hit him Neji dodged it letting him hit the ground damaging his head worse than Neji ever could have. By the time Tenten came back with help but they had to end up getting Boss to a hospital because of his horrible damage on his body.
Tenten went over to Neji to see if there were any wound or anything wrong with him. “Did he do anything to you” Tenten said. “No but I was wondering if you still wanted that walk home”. “Sure I could use someone to protect me if something happens”. So they ended up walking to Tenten’s house and they made it to the door. “Hope your ok” said Neji. “Yea I am fine” At this time Neji went in for a kiss and Tenten decided to kiss back. “Have a safe night,” said Neji. “You two” replied Tenten. At that time Neji went home. Hoping that their second date will be better.
