They are spit forth from the depths of hell.
Ripping through mountains, through valleys they fell.
Haunting the night, the words are subliminal.
Tearing your dreams, a voice can be criminal.
Destroying the mind and killing ambition
Repulsive rhymes used as ammunition.
Carrying disease, another black plague.
What are these words? Their meaning is vague.
They have the power to twirl and twist.
To grasp the mind and plunge it in mist.
A toast to those who are guided by words.
Who take the initiative, soaring like birds.
Words bear down on you, like a March shower.
So remember this last statement. Knowledge is power.
