The things that guide us
The things that carry
Blood turns black
Touching your obituary
This is your path
your stepping stones
As life spits you back up
After breaking the bones
And in the end
You'll speak to me
Going to sleep
For eternity
So make a wish
Take your final look
This is the final chapter
In your life's book
With a scream
You'll wake the dead
Then you'll join them
Filled with dread
Your spirit guides you
So don't you fret
Rest in peace
You've paid your debt
The price of life
Is sometimes high
Taken for granted
As time passes by

Life has no true value. Every life is priceless in it's own way. Some are filled with heart brake and pain. Others with love and kindness. I think we, as a society living in today, have started to take life for granted. We have to take care of ourself, the earth, and the things living around us. If we don't we could cease to exist.
We are humans. not boys, girls, doctors, veterans, etc....
In the beginning and in the end, We are one.

I tear my heart open, I saw myself shut
My weakness is that I care too much
And our scars remind us that the past is real
I tear my heart open just to feel
I tried to help you once
Against my own advice
I saw you going down
But you never realized
That you're drowning in the water
So I offered you my hand
Compassion's in my nature
Tonight is our last stand
I tear my heart open, I saw myself shut
My weakness is that I care too much
And our scars remind us that the past is real
I tear my heart open just to feel
