It's come to my own conclusion that visiting people in the hospital is much more fun than being the one stuck in there. Unless of course, you have good friends that come to visit.
Jess: *laying in the hospital bed*
Gaara: *comes in with balloons*
Jess: Gaara! Oh and you brought balloons! Yay!
Gaara: *smiles* Yup!
Jess: *makes sure the doctors aren't around before taking a little helium from the ballon* Whooptie-do whooptie-do. Cookie head. So Gaara, where's everyone else at?
Gaara: *shrugs* I dunno.
Jess: *sigh*
Three minutes later...
Gaara: *singing Teddy Bear Picnic while dancing around the room*
Jess: *laughing at Gaara*
Sai: *comes in the room*
Jess: SAI! *clings*
Sai: ... Can't... Breathe...
Jess: Whoops. Sorry. *smirk*
Gaara: Yeah, no killing Sai. He draws pretty pictures.
Jess: This is true.
Sai: I brought presents!
Gaara: Oooohhh!
Sai: Not for you. The next time you get stuck in the hospital, I'll bring you something.
Jess: Don't tell him that!
Gaara: *runs out of the room*
Jess: *sigh* Baka.
Ten minutes later...
Gaara: *sitting in the bed next to Jess with a broken arm*
Jess: Why did you throw yourself down the stairs?
Gaara: Cause I wanted presents.
Sai: *sigh* I'll go to the gift shop then. Don't open these until I get back.
Jess: *eyes the presents* Okay, I won't.
Fifteen minutes later...
Sai: *comes back with presents for Gaara* Hey! I thought I told you not to open them?
Jess: You did. *looking at a coloring book Sai made himself* And I didn't open it. Gaara did.
Gaara: *smiles*
Sai: Oh. *gives Gaara his presents*
Gaara: Yay!
Five minutes later...
Sai & Jess: *coloring*
Gaara: *playing with Teddy and his new bear, Snuffy*
Itachi: *comes in* I brought presents!
Gaara & Jess: YAY!
Itachi: Nail-polish!
Gaara & Jess: Boo!
Itachi: But... It's the same brand I use.
Jess: Does it look like we wear nail-polish?
Gaara: *shows him his nails*
Itachi: You do now.
Three minutes later...
Itachi: *putting nail-polish on Gaara*
Gaara: It smells funny.
Itachi: Yeah, but now you're nails are uber cute. Like mine. *smiles*
Jess: *looks at her nails* I look like a hooker.
Sai: *agrees*
Jess: *slaps Sai*
Itachi: There all done. Okay, I've gotta go, it's karaoke night with the Akatsuki guys. *leaves*
Gaara: I feel like a pansy.
Jess: *agrees*
Sai: Bored now.
Five minutes later...
*Sai, Jess & Gaara in the hallway, sitting in wheel-chairs*
Jess: First one to the elevator wins?
Gaara: How am I supposed to do this? I only have one arm.
Sai: Tough luck. GO! *takes off down the hall*
Jess: Cheater! *taks off after Sai*
Gaara: *pouts*
Sai: Hah! I'm winning! I'm- *crashes into a wall* I'm hurt.
Jess: At least we're in a hospital...
And thus ends our day at the hospital. Sai ended up in the same room with Gaara and I. We were also banned from going near a wheel-chair. But the way we figure it, we still have the beds. All we need now is the others to show up so they can push us.
