Lost Wonder
Who am I really,
am I the person
that you say I am
or am I merely
just a vision
of what you want
All I have done
since the start
was attempt
to be what
it is that you want,
is that what you want
I feel my heart
that it has been drained
improvement just a word
that means nothing to me
when it is all said and done
I am still the same
Another year has passed
and not much has changed
expect the fact that
I am going from
child to adult,
but that never changes.
Here stands in front of you
A lost little wonder,
whom after a year
shouldn't be seen
as little, although
I still need your guidance.
Don't just tell me
what I should be
Show me what it is
That you want from me
show this lost wonder
the way to be found.
