Sorry that I didn't do anything sooner but I was hell busy with other stuff. Please, if you have read the previous chapter one please reread this one, it is different.
Naruto’s eyes sprung open, the blue orbs immediately shutting again because of the bright sunlight peeking in through the pastel coloured curtains shining onto the moldy wooden floor.
A soft snickering came from across the room; alerting Naruto but immediately after he relaxed,” Geez, do you always have to scare me?” he shook his head and let out a loud sigh.
There was another snicker to be heard and the sound of soft foot tapping, slowly making its way to the bed, which was too small for the boy this big,” Sorry about that, you were sleeping and I had to some how wake you up.”
Naruto growled lowly,” You could have just tapped me on the shoulder, not giving me a nightmare about the villagers,” he looked up at the man and frowned.
The man chuckled, his long and wild red hair hanging down loosely covering up half of his chest. Red eyes were staring into sapphire ones, giving of an ill atmosphere. A carved golden crown with a small ruby resting on his head,” Since when, if I may ask, are you scared of the villagers?”
Naruto glared at the man and growled again,” You know the reason very well Kyuubi, I won’t explain it to you again!” he yelled, his eye flaring red.
The man, named Kyuubi face suddenly became serious; his mouth became a thin line with a sharp canine pointing out in each corner,” I came here to talk to you civilized, not to start a quarrel. I apologize if I’ve hurt you.”
“You might also add the reason why I feel lighter than before,” muttered Naruto, going into the kitchen then warming up the kettle. Kyuubi followed him, his princely red kimono brushing against the wet, moldy floor. Its golden ends reflecting the sunlight, while he sat down onto one of the chairs staring at Naruto, who was sitting opposite to him.
“What did you want to talk about?” he asked calmly, his endless blue eyes not even blinking once while he talked.
Kyuubi lifted off his crown and placed it onto the table gracefully,” I’m highly ill, I can no longer stay in this dimension. Every second I waste here will bring me a second closer to death.”
The room was silent, Naruto was slowly taking in the information he had just discovered from the Kyuubi,” Then what will happen to me?” his blue orbs staring at Kyuubi, who’s scars, slightly like his own but thicker and longer had become swollen. He had just noticed, usually they were thick and black but now they were swollen and thinner than usual.
“If I would have disliked you, I, myself would have forced you to leave with me but you’ve gotten my respect that not many humans do,” Kyuubi explained it slowly and clearly, his formal language, confusing Naruto’s narrow mind,” There is only one way for me to leave this dimension without you.” He slowly reached for his crown, lifted it of his head and placing it in front of Naruto onto the kitchen table.
“I want you, Uzumaki Naruto to become the next Leader of the Demon Race.”
They stared at each other for a second before Naruto chuckled at first but then broke down into a roar of laughter,” You got to be kidding me, right, this is just one of your horrible jokes that you make up to scare me!” tears rolled down his cheeks, his stomach aching from all the laughing.
“Naruto, I don’t joke,” said the Kyuubi calmly and coolly, the react stopped Naruto with his laughing fit immediately,” I meant this seriously, the only path for me to return back to the Immortals Dimension without you is to reach the crown over to you, Uzumaki Naruto.”
The room was silent once again, the birds were chirping outside and children shout and screams were heard outside, who were making their way to the Academy.
Naruto stared down at the golden crown on his kitchen table, the ruby was shining in the sunlight making it look like solid blood but yet still liquid,” What do the Leaders have actually have to do?” he asked breaking the long, awkward silence.
Kyuubi sighed,” Keeps regulation and order in both Mortal and Immortal Dimension, creates new creatures and plants, and makes more of the creatures and plants that live already on this world. Mostly of all, the Leader shall bring peace back once more before he passes his crown on onto the next Great Ruler of the two Dimensions.”
“But what if he fails to become what is expected of him?” Naruto asked, still staring like hypnotized at the ruby.
This time Kyuubi frowned and looked up at the boy across him,” He’ll be forbidden to come into the Mortal Dimension and will become very ill; even if he didn’t want to be chosen to be so, evil, he will become an outcast of both Dimensions’.”
Naruto’s head shot up and stared at Kyuubi, who was fiddling with one end of his golden, silk belt,” You mean yourself… don’t you?”
The Kyuubi looked up his dark red eyes looking ashamed into Naruto’s deep blue ones,” Yes, I mean myself.”
“What did you do wrong in the past?”
“I attacked the village of Konoha without intention to; I was summoned and hypnotized with the Sharingan Eye, ordered to destroy the village, kill the Hyuga Clan and the 4th Hokage; which I did accomplish, sadly,” he told the young boy sitting across him.
“Oh,” he whispered,” What will happen to me, if I accept your offer?”
Kyuubi shrugged,” You will be trained by the Vice-Head, knowledge and strength. They will force you to act more mature and wiser, teach you the royal ways of acting and exetera.”
Naruto nodded understandingly,” But don’t you have to be a demon to become the Leader?” his fingers touching the small, fine carving in the crown, eyeing them clearly. On the right side of the ruby was a traditional Dragon slithering to the other side of the ruby, it gave of a light bronze glow. There was another traditional Dragon entangling itself with the bronze glowing one, it’s head on the opposite side of the Bronze Dragon’s head. This one had a mysterious silver glow. Both of their eyes were inserted with smaller rubies.
Kyuubi eyed him carefully,” You can see the two Dragons?”
Naruto nodded, and then looked at the Kyuubi,” Aren’t I supposed to see them or is it just an illusion?”
The Royal Man shook his head,” Only those that are born with royalty can see the crown but not he carvings, to humans this crown is invisible. Those that can see the two Dragons of Ying and Yang and also see the light glow shining of them are the Chosen Heir’s of the Kiso Kanmuri, so, it looks like you have got no choice but to accept this offer and become the Leader of all Demons.”
Naruto let out a low growl and glared at Kyuubi,” Why me? Why must I always be the unlucky one?” he looked back at the crown and gently picked it up, bringing it closer to his face. It really looked beautiful, the detailed and fine carving with the three smooth rubies.
“It will always stay on your head, it won’t fall of during battle and no one else can touch it except for you,” said the Kyuubi eyeing Naruto closely,” You have no way back now, you’ll have to accept this or there will only be war in the two Dimensions.”
Naruto thought about it but then looked up at Kyuubi,” What will happen to me when I accept?” he fiddled with his black T-Shirt nervously.
“I cannot explain it to you, neither tell you what I went through because every time it is different. They train us all differently so, that the previous Leader, if he still wants to keep the place can’t kill them that easily,” Kyuubi explained,” You will be taught a different and power fuller fighting art than I was.”
Naruto nodded understandingly, rubbing his chin and looked down at the golden crown, then let out a loud frown,” Okay, I accept the offer.”
Kyuubi let out a small sigh of relieve and smiled at him, his two canines giving him an exotic look. He stood up and walked over to the other side of the table, motioning Naruto to kneel on the floor. Kyuubi slowly lifted the crown and gently placed it onto Naruto’s head, the size of the crown,” I, Kyuubi no Kitsune, past Leader of the Mortal Dimension and the Immortal Dimension pass this crown down to my Chosen Heir, Uzumaki Naruto. Do you deny or accept this offer to change the world for the future?”
Beneath him, Naruto was shaking out of fear, anxiety and nervousness. He didn’t dare to say a word but he had to or he was going to be forced by Kyuubi into the Immortal Dimension. “I, Uzumaki Naruto wish to accept this offer, change the future for the best and become the greatest leader there has ever been.”
Kyuubi smiled as Naruto stood up, the Kiso Kanmuri resting on his head as if it belonged to him already for years, then he kneeled down in front of the boy,” I wish for you to become a better Leader than I was.” Then he slowly started fading away and Naruto fainted.

Sasuke and Sakura were waiting at the red painted bridge, annoyed. Not only their sensei, Hatake Kakashi was very late but their other teammate Uzumaki Naruto was too.
Usually their orange clad teammate would be chattering about, trying to get Sakura to go on a date with him or bickering with Sasuke on who’s the strongest but today there was no such thing.
Only complete silence.
It annoyed the two horribly much. Not only they missed the bright coloured jumpsuit which screamed “kill me” but also the obnoxious loud voice of Naruto.
Once every while, Sasuke would glance into the direction Naruto usually came from and hope to see a small patch of orange and yellow making its way towards them.
Awhile later, their sensei appeared on the rail of the bridge, excusing him with a stupid excuse of his.
“Where is Naruto?” he asked looking around, trying to spot the same thing Sakura and Sasuke have been looking for the past few hours.
Sakura shrugged,” He hasn’t come today, I don’t know why, probably brooding in his bedroom because he lost in his and Sasuke-kun’s fight.” She attached herself onto Sasuke’s arm tightly.
Sasuke growled lowly at Sakura and glared at her pink haired head, then just snapped his head back to Kakashi, prying Sakura off in the meanwhile,” What are we going to do?”
“It’s better if we go to Naruto’s apartment, just to check if he is alright,” said Kakashi and started strolling slowly towards the direction Naruto comes from.
Few minutes later, the three were standing in front of Naruto’s apartment block. The walls were all moldy and the green paint was slowly falling off, the metal bars at the balconies were all rusty and broken.
Sakura looked up at the building in horror,” Is this where Naruto lives?” she asked quietly, examining the building over and over again. There was dirt almost everywhere; all the windows were dusty except for two which was most likely to be rented by someone.
“Yes,” it was a plain, unemotional answer without any hint of pity from Kakashi.
They slowly walked inside, into the hallway which was halfway clean but the floor was moldy like all the other woods. Sasuke scanned the area around him while the team was walking up the stairs.
He didn’t like it here; no one deserved to live here, not even Naruto. The first thing he would do when they found Naruto, was letting him stay at his apartment for a while then a decent place to stay, near his house so he could watch out for him.
But would he actually admit that he cared for him?
Sasuke grunted and glared angrily at the ground,’ Probably not.’ His stupid ego, sometimes he wished he wasn’t like this.
Kakashi knocked on Naruto’s green painted door, carefully,” Naruto, are you in there?”
There was no reply.
Kakashi knocked again, this time louder and more rougher then the last time,” Hello?” he tried the door knob and turned it, the door slowly swinging backwards revealing a dark room.
They slowly stepped in, the floor beds creaking loudly and the bright sunlight shining in onto the dust, that’s floating in the air. The walls were warm cream colour and the floor was a cold and moldy brown. The windows were cleaner than the windows from the outside. A small kitchen table enough for a small family to sit around at dinner, one chair was broken on the floor and another chair was on the floor but still whole, and next to the whole mess lay Naruto unconscious.
“Naruto!” Sakura rushed over to him, immediately checking his temperature and for any signs of an illness, but then she just shook her head,” There is nothing wrong with him, no wounds, no fever.”
Sasuke walked over to the broken chair and examined it,” There are no signs of a metal slashing through it and it doesn’t look like it was broken by hand.”
Kakashi eyed the room around him, sniffing quietly. Something was out of place, the chakra in this room was to strong to be his, too unstable and murderous to be his but yet it was flowing in and out of his body, floating through the room making the air heavier than it already was.
He looked a little closer at the air around him but immediately slapped his hand over his eye and groaned, gaining the attention of Sakura and Sasuke.
“Sensei, you alright?” shrieked Sakura, rushing over to Kakashi,” What happened?”
Kakashi fell to his knees and took a deep breath, slowly looking up at Naruto again,” He needs medical attention, his chakra is to… strong.” With this he fainted, getting greeted by darkness.

Hope you like it.
Sapphire orbs opened and were greeted by the blinding sunlight once again, much to his displeasure. Naruto moaned and sat up, shaking his head. “Why am I in bed again?” He turned towards his bedroom door which was slowly opening. Suddenly a head popped in and started at Naruto.
“Yo, I see your up,” his sensei said and smiled underneath his mask, while his eyes turned into an upside down ‘U’ shape.
“Great to see you again sensei,” he chirped sarcastically but hid it well under the idiotic mask of his. The mask he wore wasn’t completely fake; his happy-go-lucky personality was real, only the idiotic was unnatural but also whenever he was around the Team 7 mentor, he felt as if he was being held tightly on a leash that hung around his neck preventing him from doing anything out of hand,” Why are you here?”
Kakashi smile dropped and opened the door fully and walked in,” To talk to you about what happened this morning.”
Naruto raised an eyebrow,” This morning?” he looked up thoughtfully. “I do remember waking up once already but it might have just been a dream,” he shrugged,” Why, did anything happen?”
Before Kakashi could even open his mouth from behind his black mask, Sakura stormed in, her eyes glaring at Naruto furiously. “Naruto-baka, how dare you scare us like that?!” she screeched, making Naruto wince in his mind. Sure he liked Sakura but sometimes she her voice was a little to intense and to aggressive for her own good, thus he would only ever like her as a friend, not more nor less, even though he might act like he liked her.
“Sakura-chan, I didn’t mean to scare you that much!” he whined.
Sakura lifted her fist and aimed it at Naruto, hitting him directly on the head, much to his displeasure and pain. “Don’t you dare do that again!”
Naruto rubbed his head, brooding quietly at the rough greeting; he sighed and looked up at her with his calm, blue eyes.
The door opened again, all eyes turning towards the Uchiha as he silently walked through the doorway, nodding at Naruto in acknowledgement and leaned onto the bedroom wall, staring at the group.
Then he turned back to look at Kakashi, waiting for his answer patiently.” Could you tell me what happened?” Kakashi shook his head in rejection.
“I haven’t been here when the person attacked you, how about you tell us about your so-called dream?” he asked, staring at Naruto with his only, lazy eye. “And maybe you could also answer why your sending strange chakra waves out of your body, which knocked my unconscious for quiet a while.”
Naruto frowned and lay down onto his bed again, his head still throbbing from Sakura’s punch and stared up at the ceiling, deep in thought. What has happened to him again? He stained his eyes, glaring at the ceiling as if he was threatening it to tell him the answer to the question. He closed his eyes and started roaming about in his memories of the mysterious dream he had had.
Red, a lot of red. All blurry and unclear, making it unable to see what was sitting in front of him. In the bottom part of his eyes, he saw a golden glow, shining to the red making it glitter beautifully. Naruto tore his gaze of the blurry figure and looked down onto the blurry brown object his hands were resting on, properly a table. His kitchen table.
There was a round golden object; the object that was emitting the warm glow which he had seen from the bottom of his eye was lying there, hypnotizing him on the spot. It seemed as if it was calling out for him desperately, trying to get to him wanting him to touch it.
Naruto gasped out in surprise and shot up from his bed, in his head a scene of pictures flowed through him over and over again, painfully nailing the memories of his so-called dream into his head. How could he have forgotten, the most important thing in his life? Today was the day he would slowly become a Hanyou, the Leader of Bijuu and all other demon that existed. Only Kami-sama would know how he would have forgotten?
“What did you remember?” Naruto snapped out of his thought and spun around, staring at Kakashi nervously. This was another question he had to ask, how was he going to explain this to the Hokage and his mentor?
“Nothing important,” he lied, staring down at his well hidden, trembling hands. Was he even aloud to tell anyone about his sticky situation? He didn’t remember Kyuubi-teme saying anything about this, the only thing he was told about that someone from the Elder Council would come here from the Dimension of Eremetiala… whatever it was called and would train him in the ways of the Leader. But did he say anything else useful?
Probably not.
“Could you still tell me?”
Naruto inhaled some air and breathed out slowly, calming himself down. “I remember sitting on the kitchen table eating my breakfast,” he lied, that was the first thing he had come up with that was convincing, at least he hoped.
“You’re lying,” Naruto shut his eyes and cursed under his breath at his luck. “I must say, your lying skills are than anyone’s I have met before but you cannot lie to someone who almost has a sharper nose than a dog.”
Naruto nodded slowly. “Sensei, you have to understand that the problem that has accrued here is out of your class, it’s the best if I only tell the Hokage and make him title it as an S-ranked secret.”
Kakashi frowned at him displeased. “You’re fine as long as it doesn’t hurt Konoha.”
Naruto placed a hand on his heart and sighed in relieve. “Thank you for understanding, I do not feel very comfortable talking about it to someone I haven’t know for long.”
Kakashi nodded. “But we still haven’t finished, you still have to explain to me about the strange chakra wave radiating off you
The said person looked up at him confused. “Chakra radiating off me?”
“I am guessing that you have no idea of what I am talking about,” Kakashi guessed, which he guessed correctly because he was answered by a silent nod. He frowned once again and walked towards the door, just before leaving he turned his head to look at Naruto. “Tell me when you know,” with this he disappeared.
Sakura looked at Naruto, who was staring at the empty doorway with a frown on his lips and a depressed look in his eyes. She smiled at him. “I’ll leave you alone; you better rest awhile, if you feel better tomorrow then come to the training grounds we are probably getting another D-ranked mission.”
The silent boy nodded and lay back down onto his bed, staring at ceiling bored and unusually expressionless.
While they had been talking, Sasuke had hid himself at the side of the small closet of Naruto’s, in the corner in the room, standing with a little distance away from the wall, just big enough for him to squeeze himself in. He was intending on spy on Naruto because the said boy was acting rather strange, he was being too formal and had used far too… hard words.
He breathed in sharply when he heard Naruto mutter something to under his breath and move in his bed, why was he being so uncharacteristically quiet today?
“Sasuke, I know you’re still here just come out.”
Sasuke tensed and held his breath, hoping that Naruto was only guessing.
“I know your hiding next to my closet.”
Sasuke cursed at himself and pushed himself out of the corner, then stood up and dusted himself off. He looked up at Naruto, who was watching him closely but then a smirk slowly arouse to his face. “You do know you could have just asked to stay here, not hide in the corner of my room, hoping I wouldn’t notice you so you could stay with me,” he snickered. “Were you trying to spy on me when I was going to get changed? Who knew Uchiha Sasuke was a pervert, no actually a gay pervert.”
Sasuke flushed furiously at the comment Naruto had just made. “Actually dobe, I was here to make sure so that no one else would come and rip out your precious bits for a matter of fact,” he smirked when he saw Naruto flush furiously.
“No one tired to rip them out, they are still on me!” he yelled at him, his face heating up in a matter of seconds but then another mischief smirk arouse on his tanned face. “Only perverts like you would come up with something like that stupid teme!”
“I’m not lying, dobe!” Sasuke shouted furiously and flustered, a scowl pressed onto his face. “Stop saying things that aren’t true!”
Naruto stopped smirking and stared at Sasuke for a second, and then he smiled at him. “I’ll believe you,” Sasuke looked at him as if he was being ridicules. Naruto grinned at his actions. “Through if it happens again, the whole village will find out soon.”
Sasuke visibly paled when he heard his teammates words and slowly swallowed up his pried, and then sighed. He close to exploding but it was the best that he stayed quiet, he wouldn’t want the whole universe to know about this incident, his Fan girl Troop would only grow, not only containing his lovers but also Yaoi Fan girls he would have to escape from them.
“I’ll leave,” he turned around and walked out of the bedroom in silence. Why did he stay behind to spy on Naruto? To catch him changing? To find out more about the attack? Who knew what he was thinking back then but he regretted this now, Naruto probably trust to him probably dropped at least a little, did the boy even trust him? Sasuke growled at himself and shut the front door of the small apartment, he was thinking too much.
He slowly stepped down the wooden stairs and walked outside of the apartment block, he raised his head to look up to the lone clean window to see Naruto staring down at him. When he saw that Sasuke had noticed him, he smiled and opened the window. “Teme, why don’t you stay here, it would be boring if I had to stay alone for the rest of the day.”
Sasuke raised an eyebrow. “Why would I stay with you?”
Naruto smirked and snickered sending warning vibrations into Sasuke. “Oh well then I’ll just tell Sakura-chan and Ino what you were intending to do to me, maybe Ayame-neechan too,” he smiled down at Sasuke innocently.
“I’ll pick up some Ramen and bring it here, how is that?” asked Sasuke almost immediately, earning a snicker from Naruto.
“You won’t need to, I have enough Ramen in my kitchen, just come up here or I’ll start writing letters to your lovely Fan girls.”
Sasuke turned around soon after that, rushing up the apartment block’s stairs once again and rushing to Naruto’s small flat, which, he had noted, was surprisingly clean and tidy for a rather lazy yet energetic person as Naruto.
“Am here!” he yelled, his voice echoing in the plain apartment and immediately cursed at himself under his breath for showing emotions which was much to his disgust fear.
“Bedroom!”
Sasuke quietly walked over to the door where he had just been and opened it, walking inside over to Naruto’s bed, who smiled at him.
“What do you want to do? A prank, few games, eat or anything else?” questioned Naruto, earning a scowl from Sasuke.
“I thought you had an idea,” he said, shaking his head. “And how about you rest, Kakashi-sensei told you, didn’t he.”
Naruto groaned. “Honestly, do you always follow the instructions people tell you to do? I sometimes wonder on how you have survived this far.”
Sasuke growled threateningly at Naruto, piercing glares into his eyes. “You would never understand the reason why I follow instructions, you would never understand pain or loneliness, you wouldn’t even know how it feels like to be betrayed by your hero, the person you admire!” he hissed, stomping out of the room.
The blond boy breathed in. “Try me.”
Sasuke stopped on tracks and hesitantly turned around, staring at Naruto intrudingly. “What do you mean?” he croaked.
Naruto looked at him with his blue eyes, hollow blue eyes. His voice a second ago wasn’t like usual either. It was depressed and icy. “Try me has only one meaning.”
“Ye-yes but wh-why?” Sasuke stuttered, growling at himself in his mind for showing emotions again. “Why do you want to know?”
The tension in the air wasn’t helping him with his shivering; his mind was flooded with millions of questions. Naruto what is wrong?
Sapphire eyes glared at him, threatening him to start. Sasuke sighed in defeat and walked over to the bed once again, pondering about what he should tell him. Should he tell him the truth? No that would make him sound weak but then again, if he would lie it would put the tiny piece of trust he earned from Naruto on the thin thread of disappearing completely. “Eh.”
Naruto sighed. “Tell me.”
Sasuke shuddered at the command, it made him feel weak. It disgusted him. Naruto wasn’t supposed to make him weak and uncertain; he was just a teammate of his who didn’t know when to qui. He was supposed to be in command but right now Naruto had taken his place and was ordering around, making him show emotions and was standing on a thin thread of making him spill out about his past. Sasuke was absolutely annoyed with himself. Why does he even care about Naruto’s trust, he was an Avenger, he needed to get stronger. Not worrying about what others though of him. What happened to his manly pried for heaven’s sake?!
Sasuke turned around to glare at him. “Why should I tell you!” he hissed.
Naruto simply shrugged. “You tell me, I just want to know more-“
“More about my little secrets and spread them around in the village for another pranks of yours. Aren’t I correct?!” the raven yelled angrily at Naruto, who was unmoved by his sudden outburst. He continued. “If you ever do something good, there has to be a benefit for you: more money, great idea for a prank and whatever else! Why should I tell you about me if you’re just going to tell my Fan Girls about it so that they start giving me pity and want to warm up my cold heart!” he snorted. “Naruto, I’m not that kind of person you could just play with for awhile then toss asi-“
Naruto’s clapped his hand over Sasuke’s mouth, his face flushed from anger. “Can I complete my sentence now?” he eyes Sasuke, a questioning look on his face. “Good, as I was saying I want to know more about you! Not your stupid façade or any other façade you have created over the past few years.”
Sasuke growled. “Who said I was acting, Naruto?” his answer was low and his furry was rising in large steps. No one had ever said such things to him or ever cared about him for a matter of fact, only caring about his name and title as the Sole Heir of the Uchiha Clan.
Naruto looked down at his hands which were clenching the cream coloured bed sheet and smiled. “I did. One mask wearer can see another, can’t they?” he looked up at him and grinned sincerely.
The raven froze; his eyes spun wide open and breathed in quickly. “Mask wearer, yo- you are wearing a mask?”
Naruto’s grin turned into a grim smile. “Didn’t I just say that, it’s pretty hard to believe isn’t it; the happy-go-lucky, idiotic kid suddenly tells you he is an organized, calm teenager with an IQ over 300,” he laughed stiffly at himself. “It sounds insane, don’t you think?”
Sasuke sat down next to him a little stiff but it was soon forgotten as soon as Naruto made a silly remark about Kakashi’s infamous tardiness but then had to repress the shudder when he started naming the names of his aggressive and infamous Fan Girl group, also know as the USLTB. It stood for Uchiha Sasuke’s Lovers to be; at least that was what Naruto called them.
“Can you tell me what happened?” Naruto questioned once again, this time less commanding and softer.
He sighed and nodded, swallowing the large clump in the back of his throat. “I was six when it happen that made me change…”

Flashback

Sasuke jumped up in glee from the spot on the ground he had been resting for a few minutes and smiled at the kunai and shuriken which he had aimed straight at the centre of the wooden dummies. He walked up to the dummies and collected the kunai and shuriken one by one, pulling them out of the wood carefully, trying not to cut himself.
“I hope Otou-sama will be proud when he hears about this,” he said to himself. “I hope Aniki will be too.”
He stared up at the sky. Orange and red paint was spilled over the blue sky, the sun hung lowly in the sky shining down at him, filling him up with warmth for the upcoming night. The wind sung softly too the emerald trees, getting replied by a beautiful melody played by the leaves about their peaceful day at Konoha.
“I’ll be late if I wait any longer,” Sasuke murmured and raced down the small empty hill towards the lively part of Konoha. He gasped in surprise as an onyx butterfly flapped past him gracefully and up into the sky, he stopped and stared up at it until it had disappeared into the distance.
“Beautiful, isn’t it?” a soft voice asked from behind Sasuke, startling him.
The raven turned around being greeted by a beautiful woman. Her long teal kimono brushed against the grassy hill, hiding her pale bare feet underneath, her belt was cream coloured matching her curly white hair which flew along with the wind.
“Sorry, I didn’t see you there miss,” apologized Sasuke, bowing deeply. He looked up at her flawless, pale face and into her bandaged eyes. “Why are your eyes covered Miss?”
The woman laughed heartily, embarrassing him a little “I’m blind sweetie; it would be better hiding them from the world than showing the horrible scars underneath.”
Sasuke looked at her confused. “Why hide your eyes even through they might be blind and useless.”
She laughed at him again, this time softer and patting his small back lightly. “Some things are better unseen or you would be drowned,” she explained.
It only confused Sasuke even more. “How can you be drowned by showing your problems?” he questioned the lady. “I don’t understand.”
She smiled down at him. “You’ll understand when you’re old enough, someone will brighten you up and tell you honey.”
Sasuke pouted but then grinned up at her, remembering the onyx butterfly “Do you know what kind of butterfly it was that flew past me a second ago?” he asked but then paled and apologized quickly. “Sorry Miss but I forgot you were blind, I’ll describe it to you.”
“Don’t worry, I saw it,” she whispered softly, startling Sasuke.
“But how, you’re blind.”
“Some things should better remain a secret,” she smiled down at him mysteriously, the warm and calming aura around her comforted him, not like his mother who had a wild but yet tame aura.
“The butterfly is called Tama Katsugi.”
It tore him out of his trance and he looked up at her.
“Beautiful name, Soul Carrier,” Sasuke whispered to himself, lost in a deep trance.
The woman shook her head. “It might be beautiful, yes and kind but it is yet so deadly.”
Sasuke glanced up at the woman puzzled. “How come?”
She smiled. “They are known by all medics because of their poisoned wings, one touch will kill you almost immediately and there is no medicine to tend it. Tama Katsugi tend to appear often after a blood shed, it is said they would suck out the blood of the dead bodies, after they have finished devouring the body they guide the soul to the next world.”
“So pretty and helpful yet so dangerous,” whispered Sasuke under his breath.
The woman laughed in agreement.
“I’m lucky it didn’t touch me.”
The lady laughed softly at his comment. “If it would have touched you, it would have been your time to leave this world. Their job is to destroy those who had finished their destiny. You still have yours to fulfill.”
“I don’t believe in destiny,” he said plainly earning another hearty laugh from the unknown woman.
The two stood silently on the hill, overlooking the peaceful village of Konoha, the sun’s last rays peaked over the top of the momentum, and the light danced its goodbye to the inhabitants of Konoha, while the wind sung with it.
“There must have been a blood shed,” the lady suddenly announced. “Look up.”
The raven turned up to find lot’s of dark creatures floating slowly inwards Konoha. “Let’s pray for the lost souls.”
Sasuke nodded and shut his eyes, lowering his head in respect. The woman did the same, whispering a mantra quietly underneath her breath in an ancient language he didn’t understand. When the two were finished, they looked up again, eyeing the lone creatures.
The sun had left them now; the sky was no longer spilled with orange paint but painted in navy blue, no warmth shone down at them any longer.
Sasuke suddenly panicked. “Sorry Miss but I have to go home or I’ll be late for dinner.”
He could still see the lady clearly; her body was emitting a dim light making her seem even more angelic than before.
She turned to him and smiled mysteriously. “Nice meeting you sweetie, can you tell me your name?” she held out her hand which Sasuke gladly accepted. It was tender.
“Sasuke, Miss, Uchiha Sasuke,” he felt her hand tense a little but his suspiciousness immediately disappeared as she smiled sweetly at him.
“I wish you good luck in the future Sasuke-kun,” she said and smile gracing her red lips. “Remember, betrayal doesn’t always mean a precious someone left you because of evil will but it also means a precious someone left you to protect you from the future.”
“Random,” Sasuke muttered.
She giggled. “I tend to be random sometimes, my friends tell me so a lot.”
The boy flushed embarrassed, he hadn’t meant her to hear him say so. “What may be your name Miss?” Sasuke remembered to ask.
“Rin.”
Sasuke looked at her puzzled. “Only Rin, Miss?”
She nodded. “Only Rin, my surname is long forgotten so why use it when it doesn’t mean anything to anyone anymore.”
“You are weird,” whispered Sasuke out loud and blushed again because he had said his thought out loud. “I have to go now before my parents get worried,” he told quickly her and raced down the empty hill, he stopped and turned around once again. “Goodby…”
The lady was gone, not a single trace of her was left. The fallen leaves were swirling around with the wind
The wind rushed past him, whispering something to the trees. ~Goodbye.~ a voice quietly whispered into his ear.
Sasuke giggled to himself. Even if she wasn’t seen, she was always there with him. “Goodbye Rin-hime!”
He raced through the silent road, the buildings rowed down the street on each side, every single one of them had a different shape, size and colour but they had one thing in common. There was neither movement nor light inside every window, either because the inhabitants were either sleeping or out on a mission.
He saw the large gates of the district not far from him. A huge fan was carved into the stone gate identifying that it was the Uchiha Clan’s property. Sasuke rushed to the other side of the gate, he was always scared it might crack while he was under and crush his body. His brother had smiled at him when Sasuke told him and had said that it was made out of Jade and Jade couldn’t crack that easily.
He froze on tracks as he felt a heavy pressure in the air; he felt eyes piercing into his back. He turned around and saw nothing, only a empty stone post.
“Wha- what was that?” he whispered panicked. “It’s to quiet here and it isn’t that late.” He ran towards his aunt and uncles house. It was dark, too dark. “They never go to bed this early,” he knocked on their door a couple of times but they never answered. When he finally had enough he sprinted to the backside of the house, to their garden and stopped in horror as he looked over the black metal fence. His aunt and uncle were lying on the ground in a pool of blood, their own blood. A simple kunai stuck out of their back straight through their hearts.
Sasuke knew he was too late to save them from death as he noticed a pair of Tama Katsugi resting onto of them, their thin yet long tongue sucking out the blood. He quickly turned around, tears welling up in eyes but he didn’t let them fall. Whoever did this was going to pay big time.
‘What if Otou-sama, Kaa-san and Aniki are in trouble!’ he thought troubled and quickly ran to his house. It was too quiet and dark which frightened him, were his parents and brother also dead.
In the corner of his eyes he spotted two Tama Katsugi floating around the corner towards the door to the living room. Sasuke froze and he looked over his fence, around the compound. There were many; millions of Tama Katsugi flying around, flying into open windows and doors ready for their next meal.
“There must have been a blood shed.” He remembered Rin-hime say to him. He had only thought because there had been a battle but he didn’t think about an assassination attempt to wipe out a whole clan, which the shinobi had succeeded in, what had the Uchiha Clan done?
A lone tear left his eye, dripping down onto the hardwood floor but his eyes widened soon afterwards. Two, he had only seen two Tama Katsugi that meant one person in his family was still alive!
He bolted to the door the two butterflies had flown through and swung it open, freezing in horror.
There stood his brother with a bloody sword in his hand standing over their parent’s bodies, his face showing no trace of emotions.
“Aniki,” Sasuke gasped, tears freely flowing down his face. “Wh- why?”
“To test my capacity,” his voice, his brother voice wasn’t like usual, it was emotionless. It was a voice of a robot, of a tool but not his brothers.
Sasuke shook his head. “This is not you, why would you do something like that?!” he cried, a small puddle slowly becoming larger by his feet. “You wouldn’t kill them all just to test your capacity, you- you’re not aniki!”
