Sensei - Shikanenai Setsuai!
Me - Hai!
I raised my hand and lowered it as soon as I noticed everyone staring at me. I read one girl's mind.
Girl - Hmm. A cute girl. Of course she's a super powerful ninja already. Just like Sasuke. Oh....Sasuke...
I can understand why everyone would look. I was new to this academy, after all, and I had survived a large massacre.
Don't think about that right now. It is not the time.
The teacher kept on calling out names. He started at my name. Odd.
Sensei - Uchiha Sasuke!
Sasuke raised his hand slightly.
So this is that Sasuke the girl was thinking about. I can see why. Every girl is staring at him. They've got a good reason to. Everyting about him seems cool and strong. His clothes, his expression, everything. Not to mention he's pretty hot too.
I found myself staring at him. Oh well. He can be another dream I can chase. My attention turned to the girl sitting next to him. She had a huge forehead and pink hair. She kept on turning to him or trying to make conversation. Of course he didn't respond. She seemed kind of annoying. I probably won't get along with her.
I kept staring. Until...
Sensei - Haruno Sakura!
Why is he going out of order?
The girl with the big forehead raised her hand.
Sakura - Here, Iruka-Sensei!
So that's her name. Sakura. That flower is much prettier than her. That's an awful common name, too.
I pushed her out of my thoughts and turned my gaze back onto Sasuke. I guess he sensed me watching him, because he turned to me. I felt my chakra rising. He must have a bloodline limit. One of my techniques I can do is copy a bloodline limit a few times. What does he have.....sharingan? Of course! The Uchiha clan is the only clan with that technique! I felt it going to my eyes. He looked straight at me...but his eyes were not the red of the sharingan. They must not be awakened yet. He must have seen my eyes, because he turned his head immediately with a slight change from his usual cool.
Sakura turned to look at me and made a face. What's she thinking? I read her mind.
Sakura - Who is this girl? Setsuai? What the hell is she looking at my Sasuke? I have to do something. Damn her!
She turned back to Sasuke and whispered something in his ear. I wonder what it was. He scoffed and I almost laughed out loud. So much for 'your Sasuke'.
Iruka-Sensei - Uzumaki Naruto!
Naruto cried out a big HUH and everyone but Sasuke laughed at his confusion. I spaced out as Iruka called out the rest of the names. This class is going to be very boring.
I managed to survive until lunchtime. We all scrambled out and I sat on some empty steps by the classroom window. Some brunette, skinny girl came up to me with two equally skinny, scared looking girls.
Leader - Who are you and what are you doing in my spot?
Me - Oh, this is your spot?
other girl - Fita, we don't have to do this-
Fita - Shut up! I don't care if you are new or not, you need to move from my spot.
Me - I don't think I will.
Fita - Oh yeah?
Me - Are you going to fight me? I assure you you will lose.
Fita - Like a girl like you could do anything!
Sasuke - Actually, she could do a lot.
Fita smiled and then blushed.
Fita - Sasuke-kun! Hi!
Sasuke - Is something going on?
She shook her head and smiled again.
Wow. He sure does have a lot of power over girls. Look at them-they're practically melting at his feet.
Fita - I'll see you later Sasuke-kun! Come eat lunch with me!
Sasuke - No.
She sweated and ran off with her two friends.
Me - Thanks. But I didn't really need your help.
Sasuke scoffed and turned to go away, but then Sakura came running towards him.
Sakura - Sasuke-kun!! Hiii!!!!!!
He glared at her and something about his look made her run back.
I laughed and put my pinky up.
Me - Girlfriend?
Sasuke - No. Never.
Me - You don't seem like a very people-person.
Sasuke - I don't like anyone here.
Me - Wow. You are a very nice person. Yeah. Makes me feel great.
I could see the slight trace of smile on his face. Woww...He's so cute.
Me - Do you have any friends?
Sasuke - I don't need friends. They'll only get in the way.
Me - In the way of what?
Sasuke - I need to kill a certain man.
Me - Me too. Your brother.
Sasuke - What? You cannot kill him! He killed my clan!
Me - Mine too. But I don't just live for that. I mean, I've already gotten two-thirds of my revenge already.
Sasuke - You've already....
Me - Yup. I think that's enough of my past for you. See ya.
I bowed and turned away from him. I sure as hell didn't want to leave him, but I wouldn't want to get on his nerves right now. I want him to like me. Just as I was a few yards away from Sasuke, Naruto came running up to me.
Naruto - Hey! You!
Me - Ah?
Naruto - Well, I need your help.
Me - What is it?
Naruto -Well, you know how you were just talking to Sasuke-bastard? Well, how did you get him to say anything to you? He never says anything at all to anyone else!
Me - My own way.
Naruto - And how did you make him get scared?
Me - Do you have sharingan?
Naruto - No! But I am better than that bastard Sasuke, stupid Sasuke with his bloodline limit....
I turned on my Sharingan and looked him straight in the eye.
Naruto - Nande-ttebayo??!?!?!?!?!
I walked away and he chased after me.
Naruto - You're new here, right?
Me - Yup.
Naruto - Well, would you like a friend?
Me - .....
Naruto - What have you got to lose?
Me - Nothing. I have absolutely nothing.
Naruto - I won't hurt you.
Me - I already am.
He gasped and I kept walking. He ran in front of me.
Naruto - I'll still be your friend. Okay?
Me - .....I guess.....I'd like that.
He smiled and ran off to go play with some boy with tatoos on his face.
I ran across the playground into the woods and found a shy looking girl with dark raven hair.
Me - Hi there.
She turned around, startled.
Girl - Hi...
She put her hands near her neck and fiddled with her fingers. Her pale eyes seemed to look at everything but me.
Me - I'm Setsuai.
Girl - My name is Hinata. H-h-h-ow do you l-like this academy?
Me - It's pretty cool. I really likehow peaceful everything seems. But I can't wait until we start on our real genin missions.
Hinata - Me neither. But I am a b-b-it scared.
Me - Really? Why?
Hinata - M-m-my father is very s-s-strict. He wants me to d-d-do my best and honor him.
Me - Oh. You're a Hyuuga, right?
She nodded and blushed.
Me - I'm sure you'll do great as a ninja.
She blushed even harder.
Hinata - Really? Th-Thank you Setsuai-chan!
Me - No problem.
Hinata - I hope you do good too.
Me - Thank you, Hinata-chan. I'll see you later okay? How about tomorrow we hang out during this time?
Hinata - S-s-sure!
I walked away from her. I wonder what she was doing in the middle of the trees. Hmmm.....
Someone's behind me.
Me - What do you want?
Sasuke - I want to talk to you.
Me - About what?
Sasuke - What happened with you and my brother.
Me - I'm sure that you've heard the story of the Great Shikanenai Massacre.
Sasuke's eyes widened.
Sasuke - Yes. Three ninja come to your clan wearing chakra armor, and killed everyone there...except for...you.
Me - Yes. I fought my way out of that.
He jumped up to a tree branch and sat there, probably waiting for the rest of my story.
Me - I was so angry, watching my family get murdered. My anger turned into chakra, and I found that I could immobilize those who did the killing. I froze one in their tracks and I used my chakra to make a hand and I just broke him. I could still hear his screams and feel his blood on my face. I didn't care. The other two fled, and I immobilized on and killed him the same way. I kept going ahead and saw Itachi. He used his Sharingan on me though, of course. It was Mangekyou sharingan, so he left me there in my tortured state in a world of slow time and pain. I broke my finger to get out of the illusion, but by the time I did he had escaped. And that's when I was told by Sarutobi-sama that he would not be teaching me anymore. He told me that I would come here. He said it would be best.
Sasuke was silent. He seemed at a loss for words, or he was just acting normal. I don't really know.
Sasuke - If you want, you can help me find him.
Me - The great Uchiha needs help?
Sasuke - Forget it.
Me - I was just kidding. I'll help you find him. I would love to help you finish it once and for all.
He nodded and then jumped down from the branch, causing many leaves to fall on us both. Sasuke sprinted off without another word.
Iruka - CLAAAASSSS!!! Time for CLASS. COME IN!
I headed for the classroom. As I took my seat I noticed that Sasuke was acting indifferent to me. Oh well. I guess that he can't take the fact that he's finally found someone he likes. Or does he? Let's just say he does. Then I can be happy. Take that Sakura.

A few weeks went by with no new happenenings going on. I hung out with Hinata and Ino and we became good friends. Ino and I ignored Sakura, and so did many other girls, but Hinata's kind heart wouldn't allow her to. She tried to make conversation with Sakura but she just pushed her away. Afterwards Hinata joined us in the ignoring. It became evident that Naruto liked Sakura. But it also came to my attention that Hinata liked Naruto. A lot. Remember that time when I first met Hinata and she was standing in the trees? She was watching Naruto. She told me that he was in fact a very sad and lonely boy, despite his big smiles and loud mouth. She said she was so inspired by how he's dealt with all the pain and hurt of living alone and being hated, for whatever reason, by all the villagers. She said she wanted to be like him. I said I wanted to help her.
I tried to make Hinata get brave with her actions, and not be so shy. The training did seem to have a great impact, but nobody noticed anything because they just thought that Hinata was never there because she was so quiet. Now that she was acting more normal than before, I felt like she was ready to talk to Naruto. She still twiddled her fingers, blushed and stuttered, but not as much as before. Besides, the blush was really adorable, and seemed to liven her up a bit. But her voice has gotten louder and she seemed to walk around with more confidence. Ino and I went with her on her way to go meet Naruto.
Naruto was exactly where Hinata said he would be - at the Ramen shop called Ichiraku's. The smell was intoxicating, and I couldn't help but walk right in. I held Hinata's arm in fear of her running off. But she didn't. We sat at the wooden bar and I sat next to Naruto and Hinata sat on the other side of me. Ino left before we went in. She said something about a diet. Well, Naruto finally noticed that I sat next to him and offered to buy me a bowl.
Me - Oh no, I got it. Hey Naruto...
he looked up from his bowl with noodles still in his mouth and the chopsticks still raised.
Me - Have you met my friend Hinata here?
He looked over at Hinata.
Naruto - No, but I've seen her around class. She's shy.
Hinata blushed.
Hinata - It's n-n-n-n-nice to me-m-m-meet you, N-n-n-Naruto-kun.
Naruto - You too.
He smiled at her and I felt like this was going good.
I got up and moved Hinata into my seat. I stood behind her incase she was going to faint, but she didn't so I sat down. Ayame, the cook, gave me my bowl of ramen, with all it's yummy glory.
Me - Itadikimasu!
I ate a few noodles and couldn't help but smile. No wonder naruto always comes here- according to Hinata.
Naruto and Hinata were just chatting away, but of course Naruto was the one doing all the talking.
He leaned over Hinata and it looked like she would die.
Naruto - Hey, Setsuai, this Hinata girl is kinda cool.
He leaned back in his own space and turned to Hinata.
Naruto - I always thought you were kinda weird, when you stared at me in class...
Hinata blushed furiously.
Naruto - But now I see your actually pretty cool!
Hinata finally gave into her own instincts and she fainted. Naruto caught her, and looked at me with fear in his eyes.
Naruto - Setsuai-chan!! What's wrong with her!?!?!
I laughed.
Me - She finally gave in. She's been trying to be brave around you, Naruto.
He shook Hinata slightly.
Naruto - I wonder why she stared at me in class so much....
I sweated.
He doesn't know that she likes him? Leave it to Naruto to overlook the most obvious thing in the world.
Me - Um...I don't know. HEY! You know that story called 'Sleeping Beauty'?
Naruto - What?
Me - EH...Um....Okay.
I'll change the story around a little bit. bwahaha.
Me - This girl was very pretty and always blushed whenever she saw her hero, a young warrior in orange. She liked him very much and always wanted to meet him, and finally got the courage after a while and talked to him. He realized that this girl was pretty cooll, and then they had good times together. But then she fell asleep, and didn't awaken for a while.
I looked over at Naruto to see how he was doing. He was looking straight at me, his eyes wide and pleading for more. Or something.
Me - Anyways, he found out the only way to awaken her from her slumber was to kiss her.
Naruto - So, who's that story about?
You damn IDIOOOOOTTTT!!!!!!
Me - I dunno. Some old person made it a while back.
Naruto - Why did you tell me this?
Me - Um...I guess because the dude awakened the girl by kissing her. It was the only way. I think that Hinata may have had some kinda jutsu put on her that's made it the case.
Naruto - W-what?!?! NOOO! Not that evil jutsu!
I am trying so hard not to smack some sense into you, Naruto...
Me - Um, yeah, so I guess you should kiss her.
Naruto - Well, if that's the only way then I'll do it!
He leaned over her limp form and prepared to kiss her.
I wonder what he's thinking...
I read his mind.
Naruto - Finally! My first kiss! But I have to save Hinata! She can't be asleep forever! I'll feel really bad and if she ever does wake up and finds out I didn't help her! She might never forgive me! Good thing Setsuai was here to tell me what to do!
I sweated.
Naruto was leaning in very slowly, and his lips had just brushed Hinata's when she awoke. She hadn't moved, and just opened her eyes to find naruto kissing her, to feel his lips on her.
She fainted again.
I struggled trying not to burst out in laughter.
Naruto finally pulled away, with a satisfied look on his face.
Naruto - She will wake up now!
Hinata was still passed out from finding Naruto kissing her.
Naruto - No!! She didn't wake up! I have to keep kissing her!
I swear I saw a sly smile go across his face before he went full out making out with Hinata.
I saw Hinata awaken again, and she finally gave in to the kiss. She kissed back, and Naruto pulled away, smiling.
Naruto - Hinata, you're awake! My kiss worked!
He smiled and Hinata looked at me, red in the face, and gave me a look like 'what?'. I shrugged and smiled at her. I left them two in Ichiraku's, happy that I finally got Naruto to notice her.

2 months later doe.

It was Monday again. Time for the academy. I awoke in my usual sleeping space in a clearing by the river. I washed up in the river and washed out my clothes. I used my wind technique to dry them. Once I was satisfied with them, I put them on. I looked at my reflection in the water. A tan girl with huge, bright green eyes with stars in them and long curly, bushy brown hair stared back at me. I was wearing a silk, pink shirt with flower designs on it and black silk pants. I was happy with my refelction. I ran to school to ask Iruka why he started roll-call in weird order.

Iruka-Well, I usually take roll by the seats you're sitting in.
Me - No special reason?
Iruka - Nope.
He smiled and I just sat down, disappointed. A few minutes later everyone else entered the classroom. I noticed that Hinata and Naruto walked in together and sat by each other. How cute. Where was Sasuke? He usually came in earlier than me. I hope he's okay. Iruka is boring. I'll just see what people are thinking.

Sakura
How dare this girl come in and take my Sasuke away! Stupid SETSUAI. She thinks she can just waltz in here and talk to Sasuke like it's okay? She's said more to him and he's said more to her than I've ever even heard Sasuke say ever since I knew he went here! I have got to get rid of this girl. I cannot lose my Sasuke-kun.


Naruto
Hinata really is cool. I'm glad Setsuai introduced me to her. But Kiba seems to ignore me more now. He didn't tackle me when I was walking here. Maybe he didn't want to hit Hinata.

Hinata
Naruto & Hinata..Hinata&Naruto. HinaNaru. HiNaru. NaruHina. Naruto Hyuuga. Hinata Uzumaki. What can our kids names be?

Oh my goodness Hinata.

Sasuke walked in after I was finished with Hinata. I'm glad. I was really starting to worry about him. He walked over band sat next to me.
Me - Where have you been?
Sasuke - I was trying to find you.
Me - Really? Well, good luck there.
Sasuke - Where is your home at?
Me - I have no home.
He stared at me.
Sasuke - No home.
Me - Yeah. I live wherever I want. I hope you remember that my house was destroyed in the massacre. Your guys' Gokkakyu no Jutsu is not very compatible with homes.
Sasuke - Why don't you find a place?
Me - Hello? No money at all. None.
Sasuke - You could stay with me.
Me - Really?
Sasuke - Yeah. You just have to cook.
Me - NICE. Leave it to the woman.
He smiled and turned his attention to Iruka.
He's really changed from when I first met him. He seems more lively now. Happier. A song was playing in the back of my head. I reached into my backpack and pulled out my iPod. I know, I'm a ninja, how did I get an iPod? You know what? WHO CARES. I went to Ciara's CD called The Evolution and listened to her song titled C.R.U.S.H. I liked this song a lot. Especially the endish part.

I get the chills when I look in his eyes
He's so beautiful.
I want to see him everyday.
Hope that he feels the same.

I hope that he does feel the same way about me. I really like him. I really do. Beneath his cool, moody guy exterior is a guy that is perfect for me. At least, that's what I think. I think that many other girls think the same. But none of them are living wih him. None of them have talked with him like me. No one is like me.
Iruka called my name.
Iruka - Setsuai, what do you think would be the best technique against, say, a fire dragon jutsu?
Me - Well, I guess an Ice Dragon jutsu. The ice melting could create a fog, which would be a good diversion, and give you the advantage.
Iruka smiled and nodded, so I spaced out again. But the slightest touch brought me back to the classroom. A squeeze of my hand under the table. Someone squeezed my hand. That someone was Uchiha Sasuke.
I looked up and him, and he smiled.
Sasuke - Good answer, he whispered.
I squeezed his hand back.
Me - Thanks.
We held hands under the table, much to Haruno Sakura's disliking. She was sitting in the seat behind us, grimacing at everything she saw.

Sakura's thought:
This ends now.

Sasuke and I walked to his home together, hand in hand, paying little attention to those around us. We didn't see the shop owners and merchants smiling as we walked by. We didn't hear Kiba growling at the sight of Sasuke's hand on mine. All we saw was each other, and we felt was the touch of our hands, all we knew was infatuation. Could this be love? Well, I gotta know. Is this real? Is this him taking over my heart? It could be. I knew that Kiba and Shikamaru liked me. I knew that Ino would be mad and happy for me getting Sasuke. I knew Naruto and Hinata would approve. But right now I just didn't care. I felt like I was flying when Sasuke pulled me into his home. I felt like somehow gravity had gone when we fell on his bed. I felt like I was in the stars when we kissed.
Sasuke pulled me outside to his own private springs in his backyard. I undressed behind a wall and got in the water with a towel on, and Sasuke did the same. But then I sensed something. Someone.
Me - Sasuke. Do you feel that pressence?
Sasuke - Yes. Someone is watching us.
I walked around the springs, trying to see where that pressence was coming from. Sasuke took the side opposite me. But then I saw it. A pink flash. Then three kunai came my way. I easily blocked them, but then ten more came flying at me. I tried to bend the water around me with my chakra like on Avatar, but that only blocked about 7. The last three hit me, and I felt woozy. These were not regular kunai.
Me - Poison....
Sasuke rushed to my side and picked me up.
Sasuke - We have to get to the hospital.
He rushed me there, and the doctor healed me. She said that this poison was the result of an extremely complicated mixture of ingredients, and only those who are serious about killing someone would use them. The doctor also told us that even making this mixture was forbidden and a punishable crime. She said I was lucky that I was so strong and that I had gotten to the hospital as quickly as I did.
As I lay in the bed Sasuke held on to me, telling me to get through and making me laugh every now and then. He called Naruto and Hinata and they rushed over here as soon as possible. I was glad that Sasuke would go this far to make me happier. I was glad that I finally found someone I knew I could count on.
I only had to stay in the hospital until the night, and I went home with Sasuke immediately after I was released. We both watched T.V. in his living room, and fell asleep that way.
We awoke to the sound of a loud beep coming from the bedroom. An alarm clock. So that's his secret to getting to school so early.
Me - Academy.
Sasuke groaned and got up.
Sasuke - You cook.
Me - I'm sure Ichiraku's has some nice food.
We ended up getting it to go and eating it in class before class actually started. Iruka got mad at us for making the room smell so appetizing, but forgave us when i presented him with one of our extra bowls. We all were glad to see the end of the academy, but also sad to see that we may not be able to see our friends very much. Sasuke and I sat in the first row, with Hinata and Naruto on one side of us. Kiba and Shikamaru were sitting in the desk on my side.
Iruke - Well, class, finally, your training has come to a close. You will all become Gennin now, and be assigned to a Jounin sensei for training. You will all embark on missions to help our village, and work your way up the ranks with the exams. I'm looking forward to working with you all when you become Chuunin. Now, for the teams.
He went on with teams, and I didn't really care much at all. I spaced out until I heard my name.
Iruka - Team 7, Shikanenai Setsuai, Uchiha Sasuke and Uzumaki Naruto.
Naruto cried out in disgust.
Naruto - Why do I have to be with HIM of all people, Iruka-Sensei?!?
Iruka - To put it flat out for you, Naruto, you got the lowest scores in the class and him the highest. We have to even it out.
Naruto - So?!?! Setsuai got the same scores as him, except she has more skill!!! That's enough power for our team!
Iruka - Sorry, Naruto, but the Third has made his choices, and we have to respect them.
Hinata held Naruto to make him stop shouting.
I'm glad that I got them both on my team. They are my best friends, besides Hinata.
The rest of the teams were named, and I noticed Sakura wasn't called at all, let alone in class.
Me - Iruka-Sensei?
He nodded.
Me - Where is Sakura-chan?
Iruka - Oh, well, you remember the attack on you with the poison kunai?
I nodded.
Iruka - She was the one who made the poison and threw them. Even making the potion is a serious crime, so she was taken away by ANBU.
I looked around to see everyone's reactions. Oddly enough, though much to my pleasure, everyone was smiling.
Good. No need for her anymore.
Naruto, Sasuke and I watched the teams go out with their new senseis with anger. Where was our sensei? Did they forget already?
Naruto walked around, screaming. He jumped all over desks, drew on them, threw the chalkboard eraser around, and found even more annoying things to do while waiting. Sasuke and I just sat at the desk, and though I really had an impulse to join Naruto, I stayed with Sasuke. Naruto had had it. He jumped on top of Iruka's desk and yelled.
Naruto - Wwhere is that damn guy?!? We've been waiting for hours now! I'm gonna go and find him!
Sasuke - Dobe. He might have been on an important mission.
Me - It's possible. But I think that anyone, a Jounin especially, would remember that they have new Gennin to teach.
Naruto shook his head in agreement.
Naruto - We should teach that guy a lesson when he gets here!
Sasuke - Do you think it could be a girl? You know how long they take to get ready.
I glared at him.
Me - I don't care what they are, I just want them here now!
And right when I said 'now' the door opened. And in stepped a tall guy with gravity-defying silver hair, a mask and a forehead protector over his left-eye.
Me - Sensei?
He smiled. I think. I could only see his right eye.

Sensei - Yes. I am your new sensei. Hatake Kakashi.
Naruto went up to him and poked him.
Naruto - You.ARE.LATE. YOU KEPT US HERE WAITING FOR SO MANY HOURS!!! YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT THIS WILL SET A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR US?!?!
Kakashi smiled. I think.
Kakashi - Sorry, an old lady fell down in front of me and I couldn't help but take her to her home. I didn't want to be mean. Then she asked me to take care of her cats while she went grocery shopping. I accepted.
Me & Naruto - LIAAR!
Me - Sorry, Kakashi-sensei. I'm just really tired.
Naruto -I'm not! When is our first mission, Kakashi-sensei?
Kakashi - Tomorrow. We will start tomorrow.
I was relieved. I didn't feel like starting just yet. I decided to read Kakashi's mind, just for the hell of it.
Kakashi - Hmm. An interesting group. The Demon Fox kid and survivors of the Uchiha and Shikanenai clans. Not a bad group. I've heard that the Shikanenai excells in everything. I'll have to toughen the test up even more.
Me - More? What? And a demon fox? I'll have to ask Naruto.
Naruto was grumbling around as Kakashi sensei just looked at us. I decided I wanted to know about Kakashi.
Me - Hey, Kakashi-sensei.
He looked at me.
Me - How old are you?
(author's note : Please excuse my poor writing as of this point. But I just want to say that I changed Kakashi's age to be much MUCH lower. You'll see why later. Bwahaha.)
Kakashi looked like he was pondering something for a minute. He finally looked back at me and did that smile-ish thing with his eye.
Kakashi - We'll find that out tomorrow. Meet me at the bridge down the road at 2:00 tomorrow. Don't be late, and don't eat breakfast.
He walked out the door with his hands in his pockets.
Naruto - Yosh! I can't wait until tomorrow!!!
We each went home and got sat around. We might as well relax before our big day tomorrow.

The next day we each got dressed. Sasuke and I made out in the hot springs and then got dressed, and we all showed up at the bridge. We waited there for two hours and got really impatient.
Me & Naruto - Where the hell is he?!?
Sasuke just did his signature scoff and closed his eyes.
Sasuke - You guys...
He didn't get to finish his thought because a big poof came from the mouth of the bridge and out of that poof came Kakashi.
Me & Naruto - You are late!
Kakashi did the smile thing.
Kakashi - Sorry! I had gotten lost on my way here.
Me - You're lying. I can tell.
Kakashi - How so?
Me - I can feel it. I can sense when people lie. My mind is very sensitive to words, and detecting lies is just one easy thing.
Kakashi - Wow.
Me - Thanks, I guess.
Kakashi - Anyways, let's get on with this. This will be your qualifying mission. If you do not pass this, you will go back to the academy.
Me - The tough test, eh?
Kakashi - What?
Me - Nothing.
He eyed me for a second and then went on.
Kakashi - This test will consist of the following: two bells, two lunches.
He looked at us all for a second, and pulled out the bells.
Kakashi - The rules are simple. If you get a bell you get the lunch and you pass.
Me - But that means one person will fail.
Kakashi - Yup. Now get to it!
We all fled to our hiding positions. Except for Naruto. Dumbass.
Naruto - I, Uzumaki Naruto, will defeat you and get the bells for my ticket to becoming a great ninja! AHHHHH!
He charged at Kakashi, but he missed his target completely. Kakashi was standing right behind him.
Kakashi - Never let the opponent get behind you. He could kill you...
He brought out a kunai.
Kakashi - Just like that!
Me - NARUTO! WATCH OUT!
So he's really serious about this...then I'll get serious too.
The Naruto Kakashi cut was actually a Kage Bunshin, and a bunch of other Narutos came flying in out of nowhere, each attacking Kakashi and failing. Naruto finally came to his senses and hid in the trees. Then Sasuke attacked. He threw some kunai at Kakashi, which were all easily dodged.
What is he thinking?
Sasuke kicked at Kakashi's head, but he grabbed his leg and blocked it. Sasuke kicked again, and Kakashi agrabbed his leg again.Then Sasuke did his Gaton! Gokakyuu no Jutsu! thing and burned Kakashi...or he seemed too. But that Kakashi turned out to be a log. Sasuke was thrown aside, as if he were just some piece of trash.
Kakashi pulled out an orange book and began to read.
He sure does look bored.
My turn. I snuck out, using my presence hidding jutsu and went behind Kakashi. I struck his back, where it seemed to be his main energy source, and it immobilized him for a few seconds. I went in front of him and turned on the Sharingan I copied from Sasuke. Kakashi looked surprised - I think - and then watched me more intently.
Kakashi - Getting serious, are we?
Me - No, this is just for fun. I'm sorry, Kakashi. This will be dumb!
He smiled.
I henged into the girl on the cover of his book, and read his mind to see everything about her. I spoke in her voice.
Me - Kakashi! I need a bell!
Kakashi - But you and Tendo haven't even gotten to the climax yet! But a nice try, Setsuai.
He laughed and I did too.
Kakashi - Is that all?
Me - Did I say I was done?
I began making the hand signs for a Fire Dragon, which looks very similar to an Ice Dragon. If Kakashi sees this, and if his reputation as the copy ninja is true, then he will copy me. But at the last minute I will pull out the fire, which will steam up the place and hopefully leave Kakashi vunerable for just a second. Then I will see what I do from there.
I did the steamy thing, and immobilized Kakashi like I did with the two from the massacre. But I didn't want to hurt him, so I controlled the water from the river and made it go around him, forming a rope to keep him still. I grabbed the bell and cheered.
Me - That was fun, Kakashi sensei.
He stared at me with that one eye.
I let him go and poofed to wear Sasuke was hiding. I took him to Naruto and thought of a plan.
Me - We all have to work together.
Naruto - What? No!
Me - It seems like the only way! Besides, I heard that if we do we all get lunch and we all pass.
Not really.
Naruto smiled and then shook his head in agreement. I told them the plan, and then we went into action. I would make Kage Bunshin and henge them into Naruto, Sasuke and I. Then they would go and attack Kakashi, leaving him vulnerable to the real us' attacks. The plan worked, but Sasuke was the one who ended up getting the bell. Kakashi handed us the lunch and tied Naruto up to a post. I felt really bad, so when Kakashi left I gave my food to Naruto. Kakashi also left us with some parting words that seemed kind of menacing.
Kakashi - Neither of you are allowed to feed Naruto, for if you do, you fail. Do I make myself clear?
He paused before going on, and looked down at us to see if we agreed. Sasuke did, Naruto put his head down, but I just looked back up at Kakashi with hate in my eyes. He looked taken aback a little.
Kakashi - Now, remember this. Those who do not follow the rules are scum.
Once he left to where ever he was, I shoved my food in front of Naruto.
Me - Take it.
Naruto - NO! You could fail!
Me - But it isn't worth it! It doesn't matter what Kakashi says, all that matters is that you are my teammate and I feel the need to take care of you.
Sasuke scoffed.
Me - It doesn't matter if we don't like each other, though I do like both of you, but we are a team, we are one.
Kakashi came out of nowhere and loomed over us with a sense of doom.
Kakashi - You have broken the rules....
Me - Who cares about the rules?!? Rules do not matter! You told us when you tied Naruto up that those who don't follow the rules are scum. Well...
I thought of something I heard one of my dad's friends say.
Me - Those who do not help their team mates are even worse scum.
Kakashi gasped and stepped back. He smiled, but this time it looked like there was a hint of sadness and shock. I have no clue how I knew that, though.
Kakashi - You're right. You all pass.
I smiled.
Me - Thank you, Kakashi-sensei.
When I had untied Naruto and he finished my food, Kakashi pulled me aside.
Kakashi - Where did you get that line from?
Me - The whole scum thing?
Kakashi - Yes.
Me - My brother's friend said it to him. The friend was pretty worked up about something. He always came over to my home after missions and talked about how his team mate always made him feel like shit, and always told him that he was scum for not following the rules. But he told my brother that he felt his team mate didn't care about the others, and was even worse scum for doing so. I wonder who it was he always talked about. Do you know, Kakashi-sensei?
Kakashi - No.
Me - You're lying.
He smiled.
Kakashi - What was your brother's friend's name? Do you know what he looked like?
Me - Um....I know he was an Uchiha. And he had goggles.
Kakashi looked down, with saddness in his eye.
Kakashi - It was him.
Me - Who?
Kakashi - He died.
I looked down too.
Me - Oh....I'm sorry.
Kakashi - No need.
He looked up and smiled.
Kakashi - Now, let's get back to your team mates!
He put his hand on my back and we walked over to them. Sasuke eyed Kakashi when he took his hand off of my back.

Kaahahahahaa. Jealousy strikes. I think. What if Sasuke is just pretending to like me so that he can get my help with Itachi? No, Sasuke doesn't seem like the one to do it. I'll ask him about it later.

Me - Hey, Kakashi-sensei, you said that you would tell us your age today. Now spill.
Kakashi - Um......Kay. I graduated two years earlier than everyone else.
Me - 10.
Kakashi - I was promoted to Chuunin at 12.
Me - Kay.
Kakashi - Jounnin also during my 12th year.
Me - Wow.
Kakashi - And Anbu when I was 13.
Me - And...
Kakashi - A teacher when I am 15.
ME- WOW!! YOU'RE ONLY FIFTEEN?
But wait. 15? Icha Icha Paradise is for 18 and up.
Even Sasuke was surprised.
Sasuke - You were promoted just like Itachi.....
Kakashi nodded. Then he went over to Sasuke and whispered something in his ear. I hope it was reassuring. Naruto looked over at me, confused. I smiled like I meant to say "I don't know either". But I really wanted to smile that said "I know everything and you don't but you need to butt out because it's really hard."
Kakashi smiled at Sasuke and then went in front of us all again.
Kakashi - Tomorrow will be your first mission! Please be prepared. Wait here for me at 2:00.
He walked off, and Naruto scoffed.
Naruto - We should show up at 4:00 and see how he likes it.
Me - I bet you he'll still be late.
Naruto laughed, and Sasuke smiled.
Naruto - How about we go eat? I'm starving. I agreed, and then we went to this restaurant that had some really good chicken. We ate there, and talked for about an hour, and then Naruto left. Sasuke and I walked around the city, hand in hand, not saying anything. But then we came across an alley. We saw Naruto there, sitting in the tree, watching us. Sasuke let go of my hand immediately, much to my disliking.
Sasuke - Naruto?
Naruto smiled a big 'ha-ha-ha' smile.
Naruto - OOOOooOoOoOo! Sasuke and Setsuai! Now I see that Sasuke isn't gay!!!
Sasuke clenched his fists.
Sasuke - Naruto...you dumbass.
Naruto just laughed, but then I sensed three people coming. Their chakra's pressence was great.
Me - Hide!
Sasuke jumped in the tree, but dumbass Naruto jumped down, distracting me.
Naruto - What is it, Setsuai-chan?
Me - Stand your ground. I don't know who these people are.
Three shinobi walked down the alley, one girl with four blonde pigtails and a large fan, a boy with something large on his back and purple markings on his face, and one boy with red hair and a gourd on his back, with the chinese kanji for Love on his forehead.
Naruto - Hey!!! Who are you three!!
Dude with markings - Who's this brat? He's already annoying me.
Girl with pigtails - I don't know, Kankouro. He is annoying though. And who's this girl?
Naruto - I am Uzumaki Naruto!
Me - You guys are Sand nin. What are you doing here?
Kankouro - You two don't know? Temari, these two seem stupid.
Temari -Yeah, honey. Just a pretty face and shape won't get you very far in the ninja business.
Me - Just so you know, I am not just a pretty face. And at least I have a pretty face, unlike some people around here.
Ha. She was pretty, but it was the only thing I could think of.
Temari - Really? We can see about that.
She grabbed her fan from her back.
Me - Really, really sneaky.
I used my immobilize technique on her.
Temari - Why can't I...move?
Then I spread my arms out like I was going to fly. Then, very slowly, I brought them closer to each other, still keeping them straight. I had made a chakra ball around her, and every inch my arms got closer the chakra closed in tight on Temari. She screamed in pain, and growled.
Temari - What the HELL is THIS!!!!
I let her go.
Me - Don't underestimate me.
Kankouro reached into his pokcet and grabbed a kunai.
Me - Oh, could you be any more secretive?
He flung it at me. It could have been easily dodged, but then a rock came from Sasuke's place in the tree and hit it. Sasuke jumped down. I read the three Sand nin's minds.
Temari: Wow! He is a really handsome ninja! I wonder what his name is.
Kankouro: Who the hell does this guy think he is? Showing off like that in the tree. What a pain.
Red haired boy - Who is this guy? He is pretty good to hit Kankouro's kunai so easily, even if it was obvious. And this girl...usually no one can put Temari in pain.
Red-head - Who are you?
Naruto sprung up.
Naruto - I am-
Red-head - No. Them. The girl and the other boy. Your names.
Naruto's head went down and he sat in his own little corner of sadness.
Me - Shikanenai Setsuai.
I heard a sharp intake of breath.
Sasuke - I don't feel obliged to tell you that. First tell me yours.
Temari - Me?
Sasuke - No. You. With the gourd.
Now it was Temari's turn to go hide in her dark corner of sadness.
Red Head - Subaku No Gaara. Now tell me yours.
Sasuke - Uchiha Sasuke.
Sasuke came up to me and I grabbed his hand. I read Gaara's mind to see what he was thinking.
Gaara: What are they doing? Holding hands? I don't understand what type of feeling is coming from them...it is so strong, yet so unreadble and completely unpredictable.
Me - Gaara, do you not know what love is?
His eyes opened a little bit.
Gaara - Let's go.
They turned and walked away, and I swear I saw something else in Gaara's eyes. A strong feeling of hate, a strong wanting of death. It frightened me.
Sasuke - Why did you ask that, Setsuai?
Me - Because Gaara and I are the same. I remember my parents always talking about him, how great it would be to have a child like him His mom died when giving birth to him. His father is Kazekage of the Sand village. His father raised him with no love at all, and pushed him to be a monster. He put the one tailed demon into Gaara to help the process of power. Gaara grew up with no friends, no family and no love. And it was like I was the same.
Naruto looked up at me from his spot on the ground, his big blue eyes soaking in everything. Sasuke squeezed my hand a little bit tighter.
Me - My parents were...they were power-hungry people. They were the leaders of the clan, and nobody knew of how far they would go to get power. Most of my clan just saw them as nice people. But when they had me alone at home, with my brother with his friends or when I wasn't training with Sarutobi-sama, they would take me to a secret underground room beneath our home, a room so large that it was a wonder it was not discovered before. They would fight me and fight me, forcing me to learn new things and making me take in all of their techniques. Then one fateful day came, and my mother was about to use a forbidden technique on me, because she thought that if I felt the pain I would want to be able to use it more. She had no IDEA how much it would hurt, how close I would come to death if she used it. My father blocked my chakra valves. Then ANBU members came in the room, around ten. My father grabbed me and immobilized me, stating that if the ANBU came any closer he would do something.
Dad - Do not come any closer, or I swear I will do it!
ANBU MEMBER - Don't do anything unnesecary, sir.
Mom - She WILL get it. This girl here is the pupil of the great Third Hokage. Do you really want us to hurt her?
ANBU MEMBER #2 - Shikanenai Setsuai? You two are her parents, though!
One ANBU member moved slightly closer, and my mom began to form seals.
Me - No!! Mom, no! Please, stop her! I don't want to die!
I didn't realize that my feelings could convert into chakra. I had no idea that I produced a forcefield of chakra around me that relfected the attack back at my mother, killing her. I didn't realize everything I had done to help the ANBU capture my parents until the members told me. They told me it was a wonder why I wasn't already leading squads of ANBU. I was going to be named the new leader of the clan until the next day I witnessed the massacre, witnessed each of my family members dying. And that was when I started going to the academy. I became a ninja without any love. Just like Gaara. But now I have you two.

I wiped the tears that came.
Naruto stood up and hugged me. When Naruto let go, Sasuke kissed my forehead.
We all walked together to mine and Sasuke's home. We sat around on the couches, and I made a ball of chakra and threw it to Naruto. He bounced it around, laughing when it hit Sasuke. Sasuke grumbled and crushed it.
Me - Aw, don't spoil our fun.
Sasuke - I'm tired. I'll be going to bed now.
Me - Good night.
I gave him a goodnight kiss and then he went off to his room.
Naruto looked at me.
Me - I'd like to talk to you, Naruto.
Naruto - What about?
Me - About the nine tailed fox.
Naruto gasped. His voice got low, almost normal.
Naruto - You know about that?
Me - Not really. I was hoping that you could tell me about it, I know how you grew up with no one loving you, either. My parents talked about the nine tailed kid, and I just figured out it was you.
Naruto - Yeah. The fourth hokage sealed it inside of me in hopes of me becoming a powerful ninja to protect Konoha, and to be looked upon as the hero who the stopped the fox from destroying the whole village. But it seems like the opposite.
Me - I'm sorry about that. But now you have us, right?
Naruto - Yup. Just make sure you don't tell Sasuke about this.
I nodded.
He smiled and his voice turned back into his loud one.
Naruto - Ah! Now it's time for me to go!
Me - You know, your smiles may not be completely true, but they do cheer me up.
His smile got smaller, and I finally saw what he looked like when he was truly happy. He got up and went to the door.
Naruto - It's nice to have someone who understands me.
He left, and I went into Sasuke's room. I took off my clothes and put on one of his shirts with the Uchiha crest on the back. After that I got into bed with him. He turned to face me.
Sasuke - Have a nice talk?
Me - A very nice one. Have a nice fake-sleep?
Sasuke - I was really asleep until I woke up from Naruto yelling.
I laughed, and he whispered good night. Then I fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up and Sasuke wasn't next to me. I was guessing that he was up already, so I decided to get dressed for the day. But when I looked around, I couldn't find my outfit. Where the hell was it? I looked through the whole house. I even sent Kage Bunshins around, but even they couldn't find them. I ran outside, hoping that they would be hanging in the front yard or something. Maybe they blew away in the wind. However the hell that would happen. I kept running around, looking, and I passed a bunch of people.
Girl - What the hell is that girl thinking?
Girl #2 - Yeah! She's wearing an Uchiha shirt! Is that Sasuke's girlfriend or something?
I kept running. I ran past three guys. And of course, they were Shikamaru, Kiba, and Shino.
Kiba - Wow! Nice legs, Setsuai- wait.
Shino - I hope you guys notice what she's wearing.
Kiba - That's Sasuke's shirt!
Shikamaru - How troublesome.
Kiba was yelling at me, but then a thought hit me- why would my clothes be outside? I'M SUCH A DUMBASS. I ran back home as fast as I could. Once I got there I shuffled my way to the backyard. And sure enough, there was Sasuke, hanging up my wet clothes on a laundry rope. I collasped on the grass and Sasuke ran over to me.
Sasuke - What the hell?
Me - Auughh.
I dried my clothes with an air technique I saw on Avatar. They called it air bending or something. I tried it. It's really quite easy to bend the elements. I decided to try something else I saw on Avatar. Aang called it an Air scooter or something. I made the nessecary hand signs I used for my clothes drying thing, and then added more that I thought would work. And alas, I concentrated my chakra to make a giant ball of whirling air. I jumped on it and rode around for about 3 seconds before falling off. Sasuke laughed at me, and then I tried it again. It really was a fast way of transportation, and it was pretty fun too, so I decided to ride it around until I got it right. After about 30 minutes of practice I did get it perfect, and I knew how to control it. This could be a good attack, both offensive and defensive. I rode on it ttoo the training grounds with Sasuke running behind me. While on my way through the trees, I could've sworn I saw a silver blur of hair. Kakashi? I went in the direction that I saw it, nearly crashing into a tree when I turned. Sasuke wasn't following me anymore. He probably gave up. I tried to make the air scooter quiet as I could so that I could hear better. My ears are very sensitive to sounds. Then I heard the sound of very, very soft breathing. Who was it?
Close your eyes, Setsuai. Remember your training.

It was with the Third Hokage. He told me to feel the connection with everyone. He told me to sense their chakra levels when you first meet a person and remember it. If you are alone and you feel a presence, look in your head to see if you have met the person. This may help you if the person is an enemy, because they could be behind you and you would know it.

Have I met them before? I think so...the level of chakra is great....That's it!

Me - Kakashi-sensei! I know you're there!
Where was the pressence coming from?
I listened. I felt.
There!
I threw a Kunai to my left, where I knew the presence was coming from. Kakashi appeared in front of me with the Kunai in his hand.
Kakashi - Nice one, Setsuai. How did you know I was here?
Me - Just `cause.
Kakashi - Nice explanation.
Me - I know. Is this what you do everytime you're late?
Kakashi - Not everytime.
Me - Mmhm. Do you secretly watch us?
Kakashi - No.
Me - I can tell you're lying!
He smiled. I poked him and he almost fell over.
Kakashi - Ouch. Do you ever not-hurt?
Me - Stop changing the subject! Mister, you cannot fool me. I know that you watch us and evaluate us.
Kakashi - Yes, yes I do. And I'm so ashamed that you found out.
Me - Shut up and get to the grounds.
He poked me in my stomach and I laughed. But then I turned back to find Sasuke standing a few feet away, glaring at Kakashi.
Me - Hey Sasuke.
I ran over to him and hugged him. Sasuke kissed me, and then we walked to the grounds together.
Sasuke - Why were you flirting with him?
Me - I wasn't.
Sasuke - Then explain what that was.
Me - I caught him spying on us in the trees and I poked his vest to knock him back and then he poked me. Big deal.
Sasuke - Okay...
I kissed him once.
Me - Let's get to the training grounds.
Our first mission was to escort a bridge builder to another town. It seemed pretty easy at first, but then when we got there we were immediately ambsuhed by three ninja. After we defeated them Kakashi started to yell at the builder.
Kakashi - What the hell was that!?
Builder - I'm sorry.
Kakashi - This is more like an A rank mission!
Builder - I didn't have enough money for an A rank mission! You will just have to do this now!
Kakashi took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
Kakashi - Fine.
We kept going with the mission, and Zabuza, a missing nin, came and attacked. Wwe defeated him, for the time being, and then a boy named Haku came.
Haku - I will dispose of his body now. Thank you for you help.
He disappeared and then Kakashi looked at me.
Me - He's lying.
Kakashi sighed and then we kept going. We finally got to the bridge, but just as we were about to leave Zzabuza appeared with Haku. Sasuke and Naruto fought Haku, while I got stuck protecting the builder guy. I couldn't see any of the fights, but I knew something was wrong when I felt a huge chakra pressence. I felt no other force like it, so I made a few kage bunshin to stand guard around the builder. I heard Naruto's shrill screaming coming from inside many mirrors that made a sort of dome.
Naruto - I will never forgive you!
Me - Naruto! What's going on?!?!
He didn't hear me and then I saw a red glow coming from between the mirrors.
Naruto - I will kill you!!!
Me - Naruto!!! WHAT'S HAPPENING?!?
The mirrors disappeared and then I saw Naruto standing in front of me, his head down and hands in fists.
Me - Naruto! What happened! Where's Sasuke?
His fists shook, and he pointed behind him. I ran over there, and saw Sasuke. It was an awful sight. There were needles everywhere on his body, blood seeping out from all of the holes.
Me - Sasuke!
I sat down by him, I just looked at him.
Me - This can't be real....
I looked back at Naruto, and his head was still down.
Me - Sasuke isn't hurt like this....
I put my hand on his neck, where I could feel his pulse.
I felt nothing.
Me - This ISN'T REAL!!!
I collasped on Sasuke, not caring if the needles stabbed me. I sobbed and sobbed, sobbing for Sasuke, sobbing for Naruto, hoping maybe my tears would do something. I kissed Sasuke once, and picked him up. I tried a healing technique that Sarutobi-Sama started to teach me, but it wasn't perfect. I did it anyway, fosuing all of my chakra into healing him. I picked out each needle with caution and care, and tried to heal each hole they left behind. After I was worn out, Sasuke still didn't stir. I held him and cried, and then a pair of strong hands rested on my shoulders. I looked up and there stood Kakashi, with sadness in his eye. Two medical nin came rushing up and they took Sasuke away. Naruto and I went home with Kakashi. As soon as we reached Konoha I ran to the hospital, going as fast as I could.
I ran up to the desk where the clerk was.
Me - I'm looking for Uchiha Sasuke!
Clerk - Of course. Room 201.
I ran to room 201. My hand was shaking as I opened the door. In the bed sat Sasuke. I wasn't sure if he was moving. I walked over to him and stroked his hand. It was cold, but I could feel his pulse.
Me - You're okay...
the tears fell from my eyes onto his bed. I grabbed his hand and sat in a chair next to the bed.
Me - I'm so happy...
then I felt his hand grip back.
Sasuke - I'm glad you came.
Me - I wouldn't miss it for the world.
He smiled weakly, and went back to sleep. I stayed the whole night, much to the nurses' disliking. The next morning I was tired and exhausted, and Kakashi came in to tell us that missions would resume tomorrow. I smiled at him, which I'm sure scared him because my hair was a mess, I haven't changed since the morning of the mission, and I hadn't slept. Yuck. Sasuke was released in the morning, and we went home together. I bathed and then I couldn't keep my hands off of Sasuke. I peeled off his shirt.
Me - I'm so glad that you're okay.
Sasuke - Yeah...
Me - I could have lost you...this.
Sasuke - Uh huh...
I ran my hands across his chest. The skin was so smooth, so pale. I kissed his neck.
Sasuke - Setsuai....
I stoked his stomach and gave him a hickey.
Sasuke - Setsuai...
Me - That's my mark that says you're mine.
My hands reached the top of his pants. I was scared.
Me - I'll save that for later.
Sasuke smiled and kissed me. We fell over on the couch, making out. Oh well. Nothing wrong with dry humping. He put his hands under my shirt, stroking my stomach so softly. His hands moved up slowly, until they cupped my breats. The touch felt so much more different then anything I've ever felt. I took off my shirt. He kissed my breasts and also gave me a hickey.

Me - I know...
Sasuke and I undressed fully and went into the hot springs. And, well, you know what happens next. I awoke in Sasuke's bed, still undressed. Sasuke was next to me, and I winced when I turned, the pain between my legs hurting so bad. It was worth it, though. I put my hands around Sasuke and pull him close to me. I can feel his dick on my leg. Not bad sized, I'm guessing. Sasuke wakes up too and smiles at me. His hands go around my lower back and stay there. The moon outside shines so bright, so bright, as if it was smiling at us. We made love one more time and fell asleep again. Once we woke up we bathed together in the springs. Me - What will sensei say?
Sasuke - Who cares? It's just a sign that you're mine.
Me - Yeah. You're right.
Naruto showed up a little bit later, and he laughed at me.
Naruto - Setsuai you naugty girl!
Me - I bet Hinata has tons of them.
He blushed and laughed.
Kakashi showed up right then, much to our surprise.
Me - Wow. You're almost on time.
He looked down at me and then turned his attention to the trees.
Kakashi - Yeah. Today's mission will be to go help out on a farm. We will be having basic missions from now on, got it?
Us - Yes, Kakashi Sensei.
Kakashi - Good. Let's go.
The mission was a boring one. Nothing exciting. A few weeks went by with boring, dumb missions. But then we got some word from Kakashi about exams.
Kakashi - Chuunin exams.
Me - Will we be taking them, Kakashi-sensei?
Kakashi - Yes. I believe that you guys can do good and make me proud. The exams start tomorrow. Be prepared, and make sure you get a good. nights. SLEEP.
I blushed and Sasuke smiled.
Kakashi said goodbye and disappeared into the trees. Naruto ran off and Sasuke grabbed my stomach when he stood behind me.
Me - Believe me, Kakashi-sensei. I will be getting a good nights sleep tonight.

Sasuke, Naruto and I arrived at the examing building late morning, and we didn't see any of our teams from Iruka-sensei's class. But we did see one team. They were a year older than us, and one acted as if he was the best thing in the world and he was always right. He was a Hyuuga, and he seemed kind of scary, so I was guessing he was Neji, Hinata's cousin. He approached Sasuke and I with a very serious look on his face.
Neji - You are an Uchiha-
He pointed at Sasuke
Neji - And you are a Shikanenai.
He pointed at me.
Me - However did you know?
Neji - Your eyes have stars in them. That's the sign of the Shikanenai.
Naruto ran over and looked in my eyes.
Naruto - Wow!
Me - You are a Hyuuga, and I think your name is Neji.
Neji - I don't feel obligated to tell you if that's right or not. Introduce yourselves, you two.
Sasuke - I don't feel obligated to tell you that.
Me - Since you know so much about us already you should know our names.
Neji's brow lowered and then he started to hit at both of us. I saw the attack before and then dodged it, but Sasuke wasn't so lucky. But then, out of nowhere, came a tall, skinny guy in green. He stopped both Neji and Sasuke from hitting each other.
He is really fast....but wait...where are we at?
I looked at the sign.
This is the right number...but this is only the first floor. We have to go to the third floor.
Me - Hey, you guys. Let's go.
I grabbed Naruto and Sasuke's arms and led them to the elevator doors.
Neji - And where do you think you're going?
Me - To the exams.
We went in the elevator and it shut behind us.
Naruto - Why are you taking us away from the exams?
Me - Because what you saw back there was just an illusion. A genjutsu. That was only the first floor, and we needed to go to the third floor.
Naruto - Awesome! All of those other guys will probably follow us now!
We got to the right exam floor and gave the lady our passes. Then we were sent into an empty room with rows and rows of seats. Everyone else soon all came in, and none of us sat down. Then we were all pushed aside by a large man with scars all over his face. Everyone was frightened by his image. He seemed to just know everything, seen everything, been through everything. He looked at us with what seemed like an intent to kill. He told us to take our seats away from our team.
Ibiki - My name is Morino Ibiki. I am your examiner for this part. Now, what this is is a test. Just that. But you have to pass this test. If you do not pass it then you AND your team mates will fail, and never be able to take this exam EVER again. You guys will be tested on your ability to gather information. If we catch you cheating more than five times, both you AND your team mates will fail. Anyone want to give up? Remember, if a member of your team raises their hand, you have to go too.
Many people raised their hands, and the room was almost half empty.
Naruto raised his hand.
Naruto! No!
He slammed it down on the table.
Naruto - You honestly think that that will stop me? I'll do this test for my team mates, even if I don't like one of 'em! I will not allow you to scare me away with a threat!
Ibiki smiled.
Ibiki - Then let's get on with this.
He passed out a paper with ten questions that all seemed extremely hard. I bet even Shikamaru would have trouble with these. We all started on it, and I thought of something.
He said we would get thrown out if we were caught cheating 5 times. He never said we couldn't cheat. He also said that this was a test for our ability to gather information. Remember what Kakashi always says to us? Look underneath the underneath. I'll just cheat and not get caught. I've sensed some people in here who have the chakra levels WAY above genin level, besides Naruto. Maybe they placed them in here. I'll just see.
I turned on my mind reading jutsu to it's highest power, where I can hear the thoughts of everyone I look at.
Three guys all had the same answers running through their heads. They all had high chakra levels, too, so I was guessing that they were the bugs. I copied down the answers, and tried something. If I can hear people's thoughts, can I transfer some of my own thoughts into theirs? I can try. I tried to talk to Naruto.
Me - Naruto...naruto...answer me if you can hear me...don't say it out loud. Just think....
Naruto - Setsuai-chan? How are you doing this?
Me - I don't know yet. I just thought I'd try it out. But I have all of the answers.
Naruto - Hinata-chan was going to let me copy off of her test but I didn't want her to get disqualified.
Me - I'll just tell you all of the answers right now. Okay?
Naruto - Got it!

I did the same with Sasuke, and then I realized something. Question number 10 was another question that would be given by Ibiki. Oh god. Lots of people were thrown out, and I was happy to see that none of Iruka's former students were. Ibiki stopped us, and then went on with the final question.
Ibiki - Now...for the last question.
All of us were waiting for him to say it.
Ibiki - How many of you would like to quit now? To save your team mates from never being able to pass the genin level.
Naruto yelled out.
Naruto - All of us want to be ninja in here, and you keep on asking that! Well, I'm not giving up just yet! Those who give up are just afraid, and shouldn't even be in here! Well, you know what Ibiki?!? I'm staying right here, so gimme the last question!
Nobody raised their hand. I smiled. Naruto really has an impact on people.
Ibiki - Good. Then you all pass.
All - WHAT?!?
Ibiki - You all pass. That was the last question. Now, your second examiner will show up soon, and-
just then a huge poster came down in front of Ibiki, and a girl appeared in front of it. She had spiky purple hair, and seemed kind of scary.
Anko - I am Anko, the second exam examiner lady! WOO! Now let's get going! God, Ibiki! You have this many people left?!?! You must have made it easy!!!
She's as loud as Naruto and Kiba combined.
We all were led out by Anko into a large clearing. I never realized how many people there was. Ninja from all over the world were here. Sound nin, sand nin, leaf nin, mist nin. It really was a nice sight. We had to go through the forest of death and get other people's scrolls to the tower. If not, you fail.
It was not fun. My team made it with the help of Kabuto, a cute-in-a-geekish-kind-of-way dude, but something about him just didn't seem right. He knew about all of us, and called everyone from Iruka's class the Rookie 9. We were the only genin that had just graduated this year, and many looked at us with disgust. I really wanted to beat them up then and there, but I knew I had to save my energy.
Kabuto quit when everyone who had passed the forest of the death went into a huge battle room in the tower. I saw Sarutobi-sama sitting with a bunch of Jounin around him, and I smiled and waved, and he smiled back.
Naruto - You're waving at The Third Hokage! If I waved I bet he would never say hi to me!`
Me - Well, he was my sensei for quite some time. I suppose he should say hi to me. I wonder if I can go talk to him.
naruto - Go try!
Me - Okay.
I walked past people until I got to the front, where I could see Sarutobi-sama clearly.
Me - Hey Sarutobi-sama!
3rd - Hello, Setsuai. Having a good exam?
Me - Sure! Going through the most excruciating test ever with a scary examiner guy, going through a forest filled with enemies and appropriately called the Forest of Death is so GREAT.
He laughed.
3rd - Nice to see you still have a sense of humor Setsuai. I see the stars in your eyes are growing bigger.
Me - What does that mean?
3rd - It means that you've become more powerful. With every jutsu you make or learn they get bigger. They've gotten much larger since I've last seen you.
Me - Thanks, I guess. Will they ever get big enough so that they cover my whole eye? I hope not.
He laughed again.
3rd - No, I don't think so. I believe they get brighter when you've reached a GREAT GREAT number of powerful jutsus.
Me - I hope mine get so bright they blind EVERYONE.
He laughed. AGAIN. Will he ever not laugh at me? NO.
3rd - Go back with your team, Setsuai. I'm sure that Sasuke isn't too happy with all of the guys here looking at you. Now, go.
Me - Bye Sarutobi-sama!
3rd - See you.
I ran back to Sasuke.
Me - Sorry I kept you waiting.
Sasuke - Just as long as you didn't cheat on me while you were there it's cool.
Me - How is your bite?
His hand reached to where Orochimaru bit him.
Sasuke - It's fine. I don't feel anything.
He's lying.
Me - I trust you will be fine, okay? Do you want me to heal you for the time being?
Sauske - I said I was fine.
Me - I can tell you're lying, Sasuke. I'll just pretend like I'm holding on to your shoulder.
He finally gave in, and I used my not perfect healing technique. He told me it felt a little bit better, and he wasn't lying. Then Sarutobi-sama started talking.
3rd - I did not know so many of you would be here today. I see now that we have many powerful ninja for us in the future. Well, you will be in preliminaries now. Just to narrow down the numbers a bit. The board over there-
he pointed to the wall behind him
-wil show who you are to battle. And the first battle is...Uzumaki Naruto vs. Inuzuka Kiba.
They fought and Kiba hugged me before he went in.
Kiba - I'll see you after. We can visit Naruto in his medical room after the fight is done.
I hope you lose Kiba. Not to be mean, but Naruto needs the recognition.
He jumped down and then, whadya know, Naruto wins. Everyone was all in shock but I cheered.
Me - Naruto! I knew you could do it! You are SO strong! But you still haven't shown everyone what you learned during training!
Everyone looked at me in shock.
Ino - You mean that that wasn't it?
Me - NOPE!
Me - Naruto, can you hear me?
Naruto - Yeah! What the hell were you talking about?
Me - It's just to make everyone afraid of you. Plus, I think that you could've done more besides FARTING IN HIS FACE.
Naruto - Ah...heh heh heh. Thanks for cheering me on.
Me - No problem. i believe you can make it as Hokage, Naruto.
Naruto - You really mean that?
He looked up at me.
Me - Of course. Now get back up here and watch the rest of the fights.

Not too much later Naruto stood beside me.
Naruto - Look, Setsuai! Up next is Sasuke and some dude that nobody knows!
Me - I KNOW. I hope Sasuke does good.
Sasuke looked up at me and smiled weakly. I smiled back.
Me - You can do it Sasuke!
Sure enough, he did. He went off with Kakashi into another room. I'm guessing it was to seal the curse seal. I remember that my cousin got bitten by Orochimaru. He died because he couldn't withstand the power. I hope Sasuke can, though. know he can. He's strong enough. Next was me versus Ino.
Me - Hey Ino.
Ino - Hey Setsuai. Ready to lose?
me - NOPE. But let's put aside our friendship for this, okay?
Ino - Of course. I don't want to be beating up my friend.
Me - Yeah, even though you won't.
I beat her in just a few minutes. I just immobilized her and squeezed her, just like I did with Temari.
When Ino was still immobilized, I yelled to Temari.
Me - Do you remember this, Temari?
She glared at me.
Ino screamed that she gave up, and I took her to the hospital room.
Me - Sorry you had to go through that.
Ino - No problem. I'm just glad it's over.
Me - Want me to heal you a little bit?
ino - Naw, you've shown me enough power for one lifetime.
I laughed.
Me - I'll see you later.
I went back out to where the fight was, and Temari was fighting Tenten, one of the girls on Neji's team. I knew Temari would win, so I looked around the room. I saw Gaara standing, staring at me from across the space that divided us. I looked away, afraid of what he could do. Kakashi came to me from the room he was at.
Me - You sealed the curse seal?
Kakashi - How did you know?
Me - My cousin was bitten by Orochimaru, too. But he died trying to stop it.
Kakashi - Wow. I'm sorry.
Me - No need. My whole clan ended up dying anyways.
Kakashi - Don't say that.
Me - Do you want me to run away from the truth?
Kakashi - No, but there's no need to be so negative about it. Everyone I cared about died too.
Me - Yeah. I remember about your father. He was a friend of my parents.
Kakashi - Really?
Me - Yeah. I was really little when he died, though.
Kakashi - Me too. I'm only a year older than you.
Me - I know.
Kakashi - Sasuke didn't want you to see him when I sealed his curse seal.
Me - Really?
Kakashi - I wonder why.
Me - He probably didn't want his girlfriend to see him all weak and crying. Just like me. I don't want anyone to see me cry.
Kakashi - He didn't cry. He just yelled a lot.
Me - I can imagine the pain.
Kakashi - You can?
Me - Of course. You know about how I was raised, right?
Kakashi - Actually, no I don't.
Me - Oh wow. Well, my parents wanted me to be the most powerful thing ever, and demonstrated all of the jutsus they wanted me to learn on me. If I was seriously injured they told me to try and heal myself. I couldn't, so they just kept on fighting me.
Kakashi was silent.
Me - Yeah...they told me how much they hated me, hoping that that would help me fight them. They seemed like nice people when we had company or in the public, but when we got alone they changed.
I looked down to hide my tears.
Me - Sarutobi-sama heard about it, and came to teach me. He was my sensei for a few years, and then my family was killed so I came to the academy.
Kakashi - Oh. So that was all true.
Me - Yup.
We were silent and watched the rest of the matches. The ones who won were Kankouro, Gaara, Temari, Sasuke, Me, Naruto, Shikamaru, Neji and Shino. But wait...that means one of us won't get an opponent. WHAT THE HELL.

We had a month to train before the final matches. Kakashi was going to train Sasuke, Naruto found one of the legendary Sannin, Jiraiya, and I had...nobody. I met Jiraiya when Naruto came and introduced him. Sasuke and I were eating ramen at Ichiraku's.
Me - Hey Naruto!
naruto - Hey Setsuai-chan, Sasuke! I want you to meet someone! This is Ero-sennin!
Jiraiya hit Naruto on the head.
Naruto - Fine, perverted hermit, Jiraiya, same thing.
Jiraiya - Hello Miss Setsuai. Hey Sasuke. nice to meet you.
I smiled. Sasuke just grunted.
Jiraiya - I've heard that you need a sensei, Setsuai.
Me - Yeah, I do.
Jiraiya - Well, an old companion of mine may be able to help you. Her name is-
Me - HER?!?! Oh wow! I could be getting a female sensei for once!
Jiraiya - Heh, um, yeah, her name is Tsunade.
Me - Tsunade....ANOTHER ONE OF THE LEGENDARY SANNIN!?!?
Jiraiya - Yes! You know of us!
Me - Well, yeah! You may look like an old man to others, but to me I see somebody so powerful!
Jiraiya - Aw, you're making me blush.
Me - I wonder what Tsunqde looks like...I've only seen drawings.
Jiraiya - She's old. But she doesn't look her age.
Me - Really? I want to go meet her!
Jiraiya - Well, she's out of town right now.
Me - I can go!
Jiraiya - Naruto...are you ready to go on an adventure?
Naruto - REALLY?!?! WOO! I'LL GO PACK NOW!
Sasuke - Setsuai.
I turned back to him.
Sasuke - If you go, does this mean that you will be leaving me?
Me - .....Yes. But not for long. I'll be seeing you around once I get back. Plus, you and Kakashi can work on controlling that seal.
I looked back at Naruto, who was jumping and yelling at Jiraiya, who looked annoyed.
Me - And don't worry. Wwhen I come back, I'll still be yours. Right?
Sasuke - Right.
Me - I'm glad you aren't lying.
I kissed him.
Me - Jiraiya, I'm going to go home and pack my stuff. Sasuke's gonna help.
Jiraiya - Help?
He looked at Sasuke and I with a sly look on his face. Naruto hit him over the head.
Naruto - You pervert.
Jiraiya - Fine, go ahead and HELP her Sasuke. Meet Naruto and I at the village gates at sunrise.
Me - Sunrise? Okay. Got it. See ya guys tomorrow!
Sasuke and I walked home together, hand in hand, and right when we got home our clotes were off and instead we were on each other. I set the alarm clock to 4:30 once Sasuke had layed down on the couch for some resting time.
Sasuke - Hey! Get back here. You'll be gone for a few days and we need to make up for it.
Me - It doesn't matter if I'm gone for an hour, I like this.
I jumped on him and we got hot hot hot and steamy. When I was still tangeled up with Sasuke and he was still in me the alarm clock went off.
Sasuke - Forget it, you are not leaving until...ohhh....
He came and I did too.
Me - I've got to get ready. I'll be right back.
I packed up a few sweats, a black silk kimono, a few v-neck silk shirts, some skirts and shorts and all of my other nessecities. I washed off in the springs quickly, and Sasuke jumped in with me to wash off all of the...uh...souveniers of our fun. We both walked to the gates together, and once I saw Jiraiya Sasuke pulled me aside.
Sasuke - Just so you know that you are mine....
He kissed my neck and sucked on it so hard it seemed like the hickey that would be there would last forever.
Me - okay, but this is from me.
I gave him the same, but formed my tounge so that it would be the shape of a heart. My my, talented, aren't I?
Me - You're mine.
I gave him one final, nice kiss and walked over to Jiraiya. He smiled that sly smile when he saw my neck.
Jiraiya - Uh huh, help you pack, you said.
Me - You are so PERVERTED! Besides, it's what we do whenever one of us leaves.
Jiraiya - Really?
Me - Okay, so this is the first time one of us has left, big deal.
Naruto showed up just in time.
Me - Naruto!!!
Naruto - Hey Setsuai-chan! Hi perverted hermit!
Jiraiya - Let's go!
We all set off to go find Tsunade.
Jiraiya had us stop at one town and look in the gambling district. Naruto and I followed him around, but he told us she wasn't there so we left. We stopped at another near town but she wasn't in the gambling district there either.
When we were nearing another village, I kept asking Jiraiya questions.
Me - Wwhat does she look like?
Jiraiya - Blonde, young, uh....developed.
Me - You pervert.
Me - Okay...um...why do we keep looking in the gambling district?
Jiraiya - Because that's where she'll be.
Me - What if she's not there?
Jiraiya - She will be.
Me - But-
Jiraiya - She is the legendary sucker.
Me - Ah?
Naruto - Wwhy the hell would they call one of the legendary Sannin a legendary sucker?
Jiraiya - Because she cannot win at anything when she gambles, and is in debt to many people. She wants to wim everything back, so every city she goes to she goes to the gambling district with a young girl named Shizune, her assistant and pupil. Shizune has short, brown hair and eyes. I don't know much else about her.
Me - Shizune, eh? Well, how about this. Naruto, do your Kage bunshin. Make about 5 or so.
He did, and I did too.
Me - How about we send these bunshin out to different cities? Once they are have searched, they can disperse and we'll get their memories.
Jiraiya - Excellent plan, Setsuai.
Naruto and I made our bunshin go and try to find Tsunade and Shizune. Almost immediately my bunshin dispersed.
Me - I've got them! Tsunade is a blonde, big breasted, woman with a diamond on her forehead, right?
Jiraiya smiled.
Jiraiya - Yes, and i liked how you described her.
Me - You PERVERT.
Naruto hit him over the head.
Jiraiya - What town was it?
Me - My bunshin just remembers Gambler's Paradise.
Jiraiya - I've got it!
Naruto and I followed Jiraiya to whatever town was nicknamed Gambler's Paradise. When we went in there, I knew exactly how it got it's nickname. One of the city's gate guards asked us to play a game of dice with him. If even the guards ask you to gamble, it's easy to see that this is not a normal town. I led the two into the slots disctrict and went from row to row of slot machines. Then I saw her. A large breasted, blonde woman, who looked to be in her late 20's or early 30's was sitting in front of a slot machine, with a young woman with short brown hair and peaceful brown eyes.
Me - Tsunade-sama?
She turned to look at me.
Tsunade - Ryoka? Shikanenai Ryoka? Is that you? But you died with the ANBU and your daughter....
Me - No...
That's my casa....
Me - I'm her daughter. My name is Setsuai.
Tsunade - Hello Setsuai. You know you look almost just like your mother? You are just a little bit prettier.
Me - Thanks, Tsunade-sama.
Tsunade - So, what is it?
Me - Um....an aquaintance said that you could help me...
Tsunade - Who are they?
Jiraiya walked up behind me.
tsunade - Ah, Jiraiya, I never thought that I would see you again. Who's this?
She gestured at Naruto.
Tsunade - Is that....
Jiraiya nodded.
Tsunade - Well, he's not as good looking as your last pupil.
Naruto sweated.
Tsunade - What do you need help with, Setsuai-chan?
Me - I need a sensei. Jiraiya said that you would be best for me.
Tsunade - Ah...yes. The stars in your eyes have grown very large. Why do you need help?
Me - Well, for one thing, Chuunin exams, and another, I have a feeling something very bad is going to happen in Konoha, and I want to be as strong as I can to help prevent it.
Tsunade looked at me with...pity in her eyes?
Me - Why do you pity me?
Tsunade - I pity your loss. It must have been hard to see your family go.
Me - Not my parents. But the rest of my clan, yes.
Tsunade - Ah. Well...I suppose I can help you.
Me - Excellent! Shall we go back to Konoha now?
Tsunade - Yes, but first...
she put her hand over my hickey. Then I felt a tingle, and when I looked down, it was gone.
Me - Oh no!
Tsunade - It isn't lady like to go around with a hickey as noticeable as that.
Me - No!! Sasuke will...AUGHHH.
Tsunade - What?
Me - Who cares, let's just get back to Konoha.
We left the village and ran back to Konoha.
Once we reached the gates Tsunade sighed.
Tsunade - I hope you guys have gotten gambling since I left.
I took Tsunade to mine and Sasuke's house, and Naruto and Jiraiya went with Shizune to go get something to eat.
Me - I hope he's here. I want you to meet him.
I opened the door and busted in. He wasn't in the living room. I searched around the house while Tsunade waited in the living room.
Me - Where could he be? I hope he isn't at some other girl's house or something....
My heart sank when I didn't find him.
I went back to Tsunade.
Me - Well, he's not here. Are you hungry? I could tell you about all the gambling places here while we do.
She smiled.
Tsunade - Sure.
I made lots of sushi and then I made rice with eggs and sausage. I put some tea on the stove and then Tsunade and I ate while it warmed up.
Tsunade - So, what's so great about this Sasuke?
Me - Well, he's an Uchiha, the last one besides his brother.
Tsunade - An Uchiha, eh? They are usually pretty good looking.
Me - Yeah, he is really handsome. Well, he's really powerful. But recently he got bitten by someone you know...
Tsundae - Who?
Me - Orochimaru. He gave Sasuke a curse seal which I've been tending to for a while
Tsunade - I remember Orochimaru when we were little. I preferred him over Jiraiya at one point, but then he turned evil. Jiraiya was still cool, though. But Jiraiya was Orochimaru's best friend, and he kept chasing after him when he left.
Me - Mmmm. Sorry about that. I can't even imagine how Naruto and I would feel if Sasuke did the same. I hope Sasuke is out training with Kakashi. I miss him so much.
Tsunade - He's the one who gave you the hickey, right?
Me - Yeah. Heh heh. He said it was a mark to show that I was taken.
Tsunade - Oh. So that's why you went crazy when I took it out, huh?
Me - Yup.
We laughed. Then I felt a presence at the door.
Me - Sasuke is here!
The door opened a few seconds later, and I rushed over to see who it was.
Me - Sasuke!
Sasuke - Setsuai! you're...back!
Me - Did you miss me?
Sasuke - Yeah. You were only gone for a day, though.
Me - Really? That long?
Sasuke - Yeah.
He kissed me.
Me - I want you to meet someone.
I pulled him into the kitchen.
Me - Sasuke, this is Tsunade, my new sensei. Tsunade, this is Sasuke.
Sasuke bowed and Tsunade smiled.
Tsunade - You know that I can help you with your seal?
Sasuke - What?
Tsunade - I know how Orochimaru does his stuff. I used to be on his team. Along with Jiraiya.
Sasuke - You're the other Sannin?
Tsunade - Yup.
Sasuke - You don't look like one...You're too young.
Tsunade - Thank you, Sasuke.
Tsunade leaned over and whispered in my ear.
Tsunade - I like this boy, Setsuai.
I whispered back.
Me - Me too.
She smiled.
Sasuke - Setsuai...your neck....
Me - Oh! Um...heheh...yeah.
Tsunade - I healed it for her. I thought it was a wound at first.
Sasuke - Oh, good. I was worried that she did it herself.
Me - I would never!
Tsunade - You know how to heal?
Me - Barely. Only slight wounds, and it still isn't perfect.
Tsunade - Well, that surprised me. Only a few can actually heal anything at all. They have to have perfect chakra control and lots of it.
Sasuke - You're going to teach her how to heal better?
Tsunade - Of course. I'm going to teach her more than that. Setsuai, your training begins tomorrow. Here's my number. Call me when you're up and ready. I prefer it be late morning.
Me - Got it Tsunade-sama.
I showed her out and then closed the door behind her. Sasuke came up behind me and hugged me.
Sasuke - I missed you so much.
He whispered in my ear.
ME - I missed you too.

Sasuke - I want to try something out.
Me - Try what?
Another position?
Sasuke - Well...I'd like to see who likes you so that I can beat them up.
Me - And how will you do that?
Sasuke - I'm gonna fake-break-up with you.
Me - What?
Sasuke - Simple. We'll act like we've broken up, but still meet together here, and see who makes a move on us. Then you can tell me who did it to you, and then I'll tell you about me.
Me - This sounds fun. I'm a pretty good actress, so...
Sasuke - Perfect. And I don't regularly say anything to anyone, so no need for me to act. We'll just have to stay away from each other.
Me - Because usually we are all over each other.
He put his head on my shoulder.
Me - And whenever you come around I'll get all teary eyed.
Sasuke - And whenever I see you I will scoff and turn away, putting my head down.
Me - Who broke up with who?
Sasuke - Um...let's say it was you.
Me - And why?
Sasuke - Let's say you don't want to talk about it.
Me - Fine with me. I'm gonna tell Tsunade about this, okay?
Sasuke - I'm not gonna tell Kakashi, though.
Me - Fine. Now get your hands off of me, you ex-boyfriend.
Sasuke - Fine, ex-girlfriend.
Me - Make sure you come here at a different time than me. That way it won't look suspicious to outsiders.
Sasuke - Okay.
He let go of me and then we went to bed. Actually went to bed. Can you believe it? BED. SLEEPING. ON TIME.

The next morning I awoke around 10 or so. I washed up and called Tsunade.
Me- Hey Tsunade.
Tsunade - Hello Setsuai. Ready for your training?
Me - Oh yes. But Sasuke and I have something planned.
Tsunade - Tell me.
I told her all about the fake-break-up.
Tsunade - Funny, funny. I wish I was young again. Oh, the tricks I would pull.
Me -Heh heh heh...now...where should we meet at?
Tsunade - Somewhere public. I want you to appear sad and teary eyed. Then people can see that you've broken up with Sasuke. Or they'll notice that you guys aren't together.
Me - Tsunade-sama, you are the best!
Tsunade - Heh, I know.
We hung up and then I left the home. Sasuke wasn't there because Kakashi had him wake up early to go training. It's okay. It will seem like we actually broke up if we don't leave together.
I met Tsunade at Fan-fan street, and I tried to make myself look like I've been crying all night.
Tsunade - Whoa. For a second I really thought you were sad.
Me - Great.
I tried so hard not to smile. But I calmed myself down and put on a frown. OOOO YEAH BOIII I RHYMED. Okay.
Me - Let's go.
Tsunade - Do you know where Kakashi trains at?
Me - Yes I do.
Tsunade - Let's walk by there. Just by accident, of course. Does Kakashi know that anyone else knows where he trains at?
Me - I don't think so.
Tsunade - Fine. That's perfect. Let's go.
We walked together to the place where Kakashi and Sasuke train at. It's behind a very busy place right behind Fan Fan street. I wonder why he trains there? Does he want to humiliate Sasuke in front of all those people? Maybe. Kakashi can be weird like that. But why?
I spotted Kakashi in all his gravity defying hair-ish glory. He was standing and holding his arm. I walked a little bit ahead and saw Sasuke. I put my head down and sobbed.
Tsunade whispered to me.
Tsunade - Ahh. I was wondering why you sobbed.
She patted my back.
Tsunade - I know how you feel. But you've go to cheer up. Today is your first day of training.
Me - I know...but...how am I supposed to cheer up after my heart was broken?
I looked over at Sasuke with my teary eyed self, and I saw him looking down and then he turned around.
Kakashi - What are you doing, Sasuke?
Kakashi saw me and waved.
I put my head down and covered my face.
Kakashi - Setsuai? What's wrong? Sasuke, come and comfort your girlfriend.
Sasuke raised his head and looked at Kakashi, ignoring me.
His voice was low and soft.
Sasuke - What girlfriend.
He didn't even say it like a question. I talked to him with my mind.
Me - Sasuke, this is heart breaking already. Hahaha.
Sasuke - Yeah. I feel weird talking like this, but it's strangely exciting.
I turned away from Kakashi and so did Sasuke.
Me - Do you think Kakashi is taking the bait?
Sasuke - Who knows? He might. He's not that dumb.
Me - ha ha ha. funny.
I covered my face and tsunade started whispering again.
Tsunade - Great job.
I talked to her with my mind again.
Me - Tsunade, you don't have to whisper.
Tsunade - Ah, I should have known. Only a few could do this in your family.
Me - Yeah, well, try not to show any emotion on your face. Just keep patting my back. Maybe throw a few dirty looks at Sasuke.
She did just that.
Tsunade - I swear that Kakashi is smiling.
Me - What?
Tsunade - Did you hear how he told Sasuke to 'come and comfort his girlfriend'? His voice practically broke on the 'girlfriend'.
Me - Really?
Tsunade - I think he likes you.
Me - Kay, I think they're out of earshot.

I ended the conversation.
Tsunade - Do you still want to act sad?
Me - Of course.
Tsunade - Good. Let's go get started on training, though. Don't act all down there in your lesson though. I want you to give it your all.
Me - Got it.
I said it with a frown.
We got to a large, empty clearing in the forest.
Tsunade - You will be learning how to power punch, one of my specialties.
Me - Power punch?
Tsunade - Want an example?
Me - Oh yes.
She balled her hands into fists and then screamed as she punched the ground. The part in which she punched split and flew up, and it looked like someone just sent a huge blade through the ground. Rocks flew everywhere and a tree in the path of the punch split.
Tsunade - Now that...
she rubbed her knuckles.
Tsunade - Is a power punch.
I smiled.
I couldn't wait to learn how to do that.
Tsunade - The trick is that you have to gather up larger amounts of chakra and gather it up in your fist. Then, right when you hit the target, in this case the ground, you let it all come out, causing the desctruction. I don't expect you to learn this until the end of the week, even with your power.
Me - I hope that I can learn it by the end of the week.
Tsunade - Now, practice gathering your chakra into your fist. Try to concentrate when you build up your chakra. Now, just imagine your first when you do. That usually helps.
I imagined my fist. Imagined the chakra flowing into my fist. Imagined my fist glowing and powerful with the chakra in it.
Me - This is tough.
Tsunade - I know. But you can do it.
I kept gathering up chakra. Go into my fist. Flow there. It wasn't working. But I kept trying and trying, until the sun was starting to set.
Tsunade - You can stop now.
I collasped, exhausted.
Me - Phew. That was tough.
Tsunade - Yeah. It was like that for me too.
She got up from her sitting place by a tree.
Me - Maybe I should try just gathering up chakra in my fist instead of trying to make chakra throughout my body and then make it flow into my fist.
Tsunade - Good idea. We'll try tomorrow. Now, let's go get some drinks.
We went to a local bar. They let me and Tsunade in, and she got some sake while I just got water.

Me - Tsunade.
Tsunade - Yes?
me - Ask me about Sasuke.
Tsunade - Got it. Do you see anyone you know here?
Me - I haven't looked around, but this village does know how to gossip.

Tsunade - How are you and that Uchiha kid going? What was his name? Sasuke?
Me - We're not. It's over.
I lowered my head and made tears come out.
Tsunade - Aw. I'm so sorry, dear. What happened?
Me - I really don't want to talk about it.
tsunade - It must be bad, then.
Two girls sitting in the booth across from us were looking at me now.
Me - Yes. Very, very bad. I don't even want to think about it.
Tsunade - I'm sorry. Does anyone know about this yet?
Me - I don't think so, besides you.
Tsunade - Well, you should go tell your closest friend, at least.
Tell my closest friend? What does she mean? Maybe she meant tell them about the joke.
Me - I suppose I should. Maybe she can help me get through this.
Tsunade - Do you want to go home?
me - Yeah. let's go.
We left, and I noticed that right when we got up the girls started talking excitedly. Everything goes according to plan. I went home, and Sasuke was there already.
Me - hey ex-boyfriend.
Sasuke - Hey there ex-girlfriend. How was your day?
Me - Crappy, thanks to you. I was out there being fakely miserable and totally fake crying my eyes out while girls around me smiled and grinnned.
Sasuke - Yeah, well I was being even more moody and angry and Kakashi somehow mangaged to figure out the truth about us, and sent me home early in pity, or something, maybe more time to plot how to get you. Plus all the guys around that were watching us were grinning when Kakashi asked me, ever so loudly, if you and I had broken up. Kiba and Shikamaru must have done a jump for joy.
Me - Yeah, and somewhere in her ninja cell Sakura used her magical powers and jumped for joy in her shackles.
Sasuke and I laughed at the thought.
Me - Let's go to bed, ex-boyfriend.
Sasuke - Okay, ex-girlfriend.
We did.
The next morning came and I met called Tsunade to see where we would meet. Same place as yesterday. She said we would go through Kakashi's training rounds everyday to make it look like that wsa the easiest way to get to our grounds. When I stepped onto Fan-Fan street, Hinata, Ino and TenTen approached me with worried looks on their faces.
Ino - Setsuai-chan! I heard that you and Sasuke broke up!!!!
Hinata - Yeah! I was hoping it wasn't true.
Tenten - I'm so sorry if it is.
Me - Yeah, we did.
I looked down.
Ino - What happened?
Me - I don't really want to talk about it. But Hinata, could you walk with me to Tsunade? She wants to talk to you.
Ino and TenTen left, and Hinata walked with me.
Hinata - What does she want?
Me - Nothing. I just had to tell you somethings.
I wiped the tears from my eyes and smiled at her.
Me - That was fake.
Hinata - W-what?!?!?
Me - Yeah. Sasuke and I planned it to see how many people liked us. Yeah. It seemed weird at the time but then I started to like the idea.
Hinata - I w-w-ish I w-w-was as b-b-br-bra-brave as you, Setsuai-chan.
Me - You will be, sooner or later. Now, I've got to go see Tsunade. I'll see you later.
She ran off to catch up with Ino and TenTen. I saw Tsunade down the street, drinking some sake. She finally noticed me.
Tsunade - Oi! Setsuai!
She motioned for me to come over there.
Me - Hello Tsunade-sama.
Tsunade - Still sad about Sasuke?
Me - Yes, I am.
Tears formed on my eyelids.
Tsunade - No need. You'll be okay once we start training. Let's go through Kakashi's grounds again.
Me - Oh, yeah, no problem at all. Let's go through Sasuke's training grounds! Wee! It will be fun to see the guy who BROKE MY HEART.
Tsunade smiled.
Tsunade - Just wait until you can power punch. You can break more than a guy's heart with that.
I laughed.
Me - Nice.
We walked past Kakashi and Sasuke, and I ignored them both. Kinda.
Me - Hey ex-boyfriend.
Sasuke - Hey, ex-girlfriend. Having fun?
Me - Oh yeah, I love being away from you.
Sasuke - I don't. See you at home.
Me - Hey, Tsunade-sama.
She stopped at her usual spot by the tree.
Tsunade - Yes?
me - If I do this in less than a week, will you be surprised?
Tsunade - No. I already know that you are capable of anything Setsuai, everyone does. It's in your name.
I smiled.
Me - Then I'll try to perfect it by tomorrow.
Tsunade - Hop to it.
She sat down and I began gathering chakra in my fist.
Me - It's working!
Tsunade - Good. Now we need to find out how to release it. Punch that area of ground over there.
I went to a clearing and punched it.
Tsunade - You have a good punch. Now, punch it, and right when your fist makes contact with it, release the chakra.
I gathered up the chakra and punched the ground, releasing my grip on the chakra right when I felt the ground on my knuckle. The ground did the same exact thing that it did when Tsunade hit it yesterday.
Tsunade - Nice one. Now, perfect it. Split that tree in half by aiming your punch at it, but don't hit it with your fist itself. You punch needs to be strong enough to destroy anything in it's path.
I punched and punched until I was so exhausted that I felt like I couldn't move.
Tsunade - You've got til tomorrow kid.
She helped me up and she walked me to the same bar as yesterday. I ordered some coffee and Tsunade some sake.
Tsunade - We'll learn how to control how ar your punches go tomorrow. Then, if you get it right, we'll start on healing techniques the next day. Sound good?
Me - Great.
Tsunade - You're learning much faster than I did.
Me - Really?
Tsunade - Yeah, but of course I had to make it myself.
Me - I'll give you some credit when I fight. Whenever I punch something I'll be like ' Brought to you by Tsunade'.
She laughed.
Tsunade - I like you, kid. You are gonna grow up to be great one day, just you wait.
Me - Thanks, Tsunade-sama.
She left, and I walked out to find Kiba standing outside.
Me - Oh! Hey Kiba.
Kiba - Setsuai! Nice to see you! How are you?
Me - I'm fine, thanks. Whatcha doin' here?
Kiba - Oh, nothing, just was stopping by to get a drink. But now you're here, so...yeah.
Me - Yeah. Okay. Well, I was just gonna go home, so...
Kiba - I'll walk you.
Me - Okay.
We walked in the direction of Sasuke's and mines house.
Kiba - So...is it true?
Me - What?
Kiba - About Sasuke.
Me - Oh...um....yeah.
I looked down.
Kiba - I didn't mean to upset you! I just...wanted to know.
Me - Yeah.
I forced tears to come.
Me - It's alright, though.
Kiba - What happened? Do you want to talk about it?
Me - No.
Kiba - Oh....well....where do you live?
I saw Sasuke's house coming up in the distance.
Me - There.
I pointed to it.
Kiba - Sasuke's house?!?! WHY?!?!
Me - Because. I don't have a home. It was destroyed.
Kiba - I'm sorry...but why with him?
Me - Because he was the first who offered.
Kiba - So if I had offered you would have come and stayed with me?
Me - Maybe.
Kiba - KOSU!!!
I laughed.
Me - We're here.
We stopped when were yards from the front door.
Kiba - I'll see you around.
Me - Yeah. You too. See ya.
Kiba - Setsuai! Wait!
I stopped walking to the door. Kiba came up to me and kissed me once.
Me - Um...I'm gonna go now. Bye.
Kiba - Bye.
He smiled and ran off.
I ran inside the house and spit in the sink.
Me - Kiba mouth...tastes like dog.

Sasuke - I saw that.
Me - Sasuke! I didn't see you there...
Sasuke - So...you got hit on too? Two girls tried to do the same thing to me too.
Me - Oh really?
I got angry.
Me - What did you do?
Sasuke - Just what you did. Let them.
Me - Hey! I didn't let Kiba do that. He just did.
I punched the counter, leaving a huge indentation in it.
Sasuke - W-whoa. Okay, fine, but I did get kissed by them. But I moved just in time so that they ended up kissing my hair.
Me - I wish I was that smart.
Sasuke - You make up for it in other things.
Me - Right. You have a lot for things to make up for.
Sasuke - Like what?
Me - Like this.
I jumped on him and kissed him. He put me on the table, and that poor table didn't have a chance of surviving in the household of Uchiha-Shikanenai.
The next morning I woke up under Sasuke. I went through the same thing everyday with Tsunade, but she taught me new things each time I saw her. I learned how to do the power punch, heal wounds easily, and regenerate seriously damaged skin. Everyday a new person walked me home and tried to kiss me, but I learned from Sasuke to dodge them. Every morning I woke up under, on top of, or in the middle of Sasuke, and the same thing went on and on. Then it came time for the actual matches. Shikamaru and Temari fought first. Temari won, because Shikamaru quit, much to everyone in the stadiums dismay. Naruto fought Neji, and ,to about everyone's surprise, won. Shino was going to fight Kankouro, but Kanky forfeited, and I ended up fighting Shino. I won, easily, with just two power punches and immobilization. I didn't even have to heal. I helped Shino in the medical room, though. I went back up with everyone who was watching the fights, and I noticed something. Sasuke wasn't here yet. His fight was next. It was the other most anticipated fight of all, besides mine. He was an Uchiha, after all, and I was a Shikanenai. I waited patiently for Sasuke to burst in at any moment, and right when it seemed that his fight would go to Gaara, he showed up in the middle of the field with Kakashi behind him, leaves all around them. He had on a new outfit. It was black and he had bunches of bandadges on. He told the judge his name, and the crowd went crazy when Kakashi stepped off of the field and Gaara stepped on.
This is it.
The fight.
The fight that decides if Sasuke becomes Chuunin or not.
He could lose his life out there up against Gaara.

They began to fight, and it already was exciting. Sasuke had learned how to move as quickly as Lee, only with more power, and hit Gaara quite a few times. Gaara had just begun to bleed when he got mad. Really mad. But then something went on. I felt sleepy. I shouldn't....but then I noticed everyone around me collasping. I repeled the jutsu and found Kakashi.
Kakashi - Setsuai. Repel Naruto and everyone else.
I did. i went to Shikamaru, but noticed something.
Me - You didn't fall under the jutsu, did you?
Shikamaru - This is too troublesome.
Me - Come on lazy. Do you need a power punch to help you up?
Shikamaru - Women.
He got up and helped me awaken the other Rookie 9. Sasuke and Gaara stopped fighting, and I brought Sasuke to Kakashi. Kakashi told us the situation.
Kakashi - Konoha is under atack as we speak. The Kazekage that came to see this fight was actually Orochimaru, and he has the 3rd trapped with him on top of the Hokage's home. They are fighting right now.
Me - Sarutobi-sama...
I tried hard to fight back the tears. Sasuke grabbed my hand and squeezed it.
Kakashi - Wait....didn't you two break up?
Me - No! Let's just go and help as much as we can! What can we do?
Kakashi - What we do...is wait.
We all rushed to the top of the academy, where we could see a few things that were going on on top of the Hokage's home. Sasuke held me close to him, and I grabbed his shirt and buried my face in it.
Me - I knew that this day was coming! Why couldn't I have been more ready? I could have helped Sarutobi-sama get out of the way of Orochimaru!
I sobbed.
Sasuke - Don't blame yourself. It wasn't you.
Kiba came over to me and Sasuke.
Me - No, Sasuke and I never broke up, now go away Kiba.
He did.
Me - Sasuke....don't ever leave me.
Sasuke - ...I won't.
He's lying.
I sobbed into his shirt, hoping that my senses were wrong.
The 3rd emerged from the battle dead. Orochimaru fled, seriously injured, and we needed a new hokage. Jiraiya was elected, but he didn't want to so Tsunade was elected instead. She accpeted, and was in charge. The 3rd's funeral was an awful one. Konohamaru, the 3rd's grandson and Naruto's friend, sobbed. I cried, and Sasuke held me. We all put white roses on his coffin, and I left before they lowered his coffin. Tsunade told me that the only chuunin that emerged from the test were Shikamaru and I. We both got vests and went on missions with the other Jounin and Chuunin. A month passed, and so did the Jounin exams. I passed those, much to Kakashi's delgiht and Iruka's jealousy. The whole month Sasuke had been acting weird. It was coming soon. The day he would leave me. I woke up in the middle of the night to find that Sasuke wasn't beside me in bed. I dressed and went outside, in search of him. The first place I looked was the village gates. And sure enough, there he was. He had a backpack on.
Me - Sasuke.
He turned to face me.
Sasuke - Setsuai.
Me - I knew that you were lying to me the day of the final exams. I just hoped that I was wrong.
Sasuke didn't say anything.
Me - You're going to find Orochimaru, aren't you?
He lowered his head.
Me - You honestly think that this will help you kill Itachi? You know that Orochimaru just wants to use you as his new container for his body! He's going to dispose of you in 3 years. 3 years of life, Sasuke, that you will be spending under every command of an evil, evil man. 3 years that you could be spending here, with me. 3 years isn't a long time left to live, Sasuke, but it is a long time to be gone. I don't want you to leave.
Sasuke - This is the only way I can get powerful enough to kill Itachi.
Me - No it ISN'T! Sasuke! I've never told you this, but I love you! I love you! I would do anything for you! I'll do whatever you want, just don't leave me. Don't go, please.
He appeared behind me and kissed my neck.
Sasuke - I love you too.
Me - Then don't go. Just stay here with me.
Sasuke - I'm leaving.
He started to give me a hickey, but I stopped him.
Me - I am not yours anymore, Sasuke. You're leaving.
He looked at me, puzzled.
I hated the tears for coming, hated my heart for breaking, hated that I loved this man who would become one of the biggest traitors of Konoha besides Orochimaru himself.
Me - I hate you. Just leave, now.
He left go of me and walked ahead.
Sasuke - Thank you, Setsuai, for everything.
He looked back at me once. I punched the ground with all of the chakra that came from my feelings. It went towards Sasuke faster than I could follow, and it threw him out, very very far, past the village gates.
Me - I love you, Sasuke.
I collasped on the ground, exhausted and the tears somehow still running, coaxing me to sleep.

When I woke up I was in a bed I didn't recognize, in a room I had never seen before. It smelled faintly of...ramen? I got up and looked at my clothes. I was wearing a giant black shirt with a spiral on the back.
Me - W-what the hell?
I went to the door and opened it with caution. Then I sensed the pressence of two people...I knew them. It was Jiraiya and Naruto. I walked out of the room and Looked around. This was a very small apartment. The room led straight into the living room and that had a tiny kitchen in the corner. The bathroom was on the other side of the bedroom.Jiraiya and Naruto were in the living room/kitchen, somehow, and smiled when I came out.
Naruto - Setsuai! You're wearing my shirt!
Me - Yeah...I don't know how it got on me though...
Jiraiya whistled and naruto smacked him on the head.
Me - What am I doing here anyways?
Naruto - Ero-sennin found you at the gates, asleep. He took you here.
Me - Oh.
I put my head down and tried not to cry.
Naruto - Why were you there, anyways?
Me - I tried to stop Sasuke from leaving.
Naruto - What?!?!?
Me - Sasuke left to go see Orochimaru.
Naruto - You have to go tell Granny Tsunade!
Me - I will. As soon as I get some clothes.
Naruto and I left to go to mine and Sasuke's house. When we got there, Naruto let a big 'OOOOH.'
Naruto - Never knew Sasuke had this much going for him.
Me - Shut up.
I ran into my room and put on Sasuke's shorts, even if they were a bit loose on me. Then I put on a black tank top with my chuunin vest and pulled my hair back in a ponytail. When I went outside Naruto whistled. Jiraiya hit him on the head.
Me - Let's go to Tsunade.
We ran to her office, not even stopping knock on her door before barging in.
Tsunade - What is it, Setsuai?
Me - Sasuke has left the town to go see Orochimaru.
Tsunade - He WHAT?!!? Shizune! Go and send a bird out to Shikamaru. Tell him to get here immediately.
Shizune did just that, and then I told Tsunade the story of how he left while we were waiting for Shikamaru to show up.
He did a minute later.
Shikamaru - Hokage-sama. What is it?
Tsunade - I want you to find a few members you trust on a retrieval mission. You have to go get Uchiha Sasuke back. Setsuai will fill you in on everything. Now, go immediately. Jiraiya, I need you here. I have a special mission for you.
We all left, besides Jiraiya, and went around, looking for members of our team. No Jounin were here because of the loss of most of them during the attack and the remaining were sent on missions, so we decided to pick from our friends. We got Kiba, Neji, and Chouji. They were all wondering what had happened, so I told them, minus the hickey and love part.
Kiba - That bastard! Once we find him, we'll beat him up! Right Akamaru?
He yipped.
Shikamaru - Let's not get off task. We will form a simple formation - a line. Neji, you go in front and use your Byakugan to see if anyone is apporaching. Chouji, you in back. You can be our guard. Naruto, you go in the middle. You can use your bunshin to surround us easier that way if needed. Setsuai and I will be on either side of Naruto. Setsuai, you go behind Neji.
I nodded. We all set off in this formation, with Shikamaru occasionally making changes. We ended up switching places all together to jump the trees easier, but we still had the same idea. I remember what Sasuke told me.

Sasuke - Four ninja attacked me the other day. There was one girl who had a dirty mouth, one with many legs, one who was really big, and then one who could attack you without letting you know how. They were followers of Orochimaru and said they would take me to him. I declined them, of course.

Me - Look out for four ninja. One girl, Three guys. One guy has lots of arms, one guy is really big, and one guy can attack you without you even knowing how.
Shikamaru - Got it. Kiba, see anything?
Kiba - No. Setsuai. You can copy bloodlines, right?
Me - Sometimes...
Kiba - Try to copy my Byakugan.
Me - Okay....
I tried. It was different than Sharingan. I could see all around me, almost. I could see through things. It really was an amazing sight.
Me - Wow. This is great.
I looked at Kiba. All I saw of him were chakra valves and points.
Kiba - Whoa, her eyes!
Naruto - Setsuai, your eyes look so cool!
Me - How do they look, Neji?
Neji - You can still see your eyes under, but with white over.
Me - Oh.
Shikamaru - Stop messing around. We have to catch up to Sasuke.
Me - Right. That's our number one priority.
We sprinted ahead, and I couldn't help but fear for Sasuke.
Me - I just want to say...thank you all for helping me with this. You don't know how much it means to me.
Choji - No problem, Setsuai.
Kiba - Yeah! I'd do whatever you like!
Me - Thanks.
Naruto came up to me and jumped with me in the trees.
Naruto - We'll get Sasuke back. I know we can.
Me - I sure hope so.
We kept on jumping until I felt the pressence of four very powerful people.
Me - It's them! Byakugan!
Neji did the same. We saw four figures ahead and stopped everyone else behind us. I saw a big barrel and they were all sitting around it. I tried to look inside the barrel, but there was so much dark chakra going around it I couldn't see anything. But I knew Sasuke was in there.
Me - Guys. Sasuke is in there.
Naruto - How do you know?
Me - I can feel his chakra levels.
Shikamaru - Right. We need a plan to ambush them.
He sat on a branch in his signature thinking pose.
Shikamaru - Got it. Now, we set a bunch of trap kunai around them to distract them. Setsuai and Kiba, I'll leave that to you. I'll trap them with my Kagemane Jutsu and then Chouji, Kiba, Naruto will attack them. Don't be afraid to hold back. We may be hurt, seperated, or killed when we do.
Me - Killed? Killed? I don't want you guys to die!
I loved them. It wasn't the type of love Sasuke and I had, but I did. They were my friends. They were my peace in this war filled world.
Shikamaru - I know. But we have to do this mission. For the sake of Konoha and for the sake of us. Setsuai, mainly. Now, I want you all to give it your all. Let's go.
We did as the plan said, but it didn't work. Three of the four left with Sasuke, and the biggest one stayed behind to fight us. He trapped us in a rock dome that sucked out our chakra, and for a second I felt like we were going to die.
Kiba - We can't die in here!
Naruto made a kage bunshin and tried to do Rasengan, but his chakra was too low.
Naruto - Kosu. I can't do Rasengan!
Choji - Wait. I have an idea.
He took out a bag of chips and began to eat.
Naruto - Choji?!?! EATING AT A TIME LIKE THIS!??!?!
Choji - It helps me regenerate my chakra, plus...
He took out a box with three small compartments with little balls in them.
Choji - Soildier pills, made especially for me in hard situations. I'll get you guys out of here, and you go to get Sasuke. I'll stay back here and fight this guy.
Me - Choji!
Shikamaru - let him. He wants to.
Me - O...okay. Choji, just be safe.
Choji - I'll be back with you guys before you know it!
Me - Choji, beat this guy up for me.
Choji - No problem.
Choji did his big ball type kind of jutsu and broke us out of the dome catching the dude outside by surprise. We all ran on, leaving Choji behind. I looked back, hoping that that wasn't the last time I would see him. On our way we would mark the trees with our kunai with arrows pointing to where we went for Choji. We occasionally put happy little messages like 'I'll buy you some chips when we get back!' Or 'We're waiting for you, Choji.' I hoped that he would be able to see them.
We jumped ahead in the trees, trying to catch up with the three with Sasuke. I sensed them. They saw us too, and attacked. Two of them jumped ahead with Sasuke, and the guy with the extra arms started fighting us. Neji stayed behind. I hugged him before he went down to the spidey-dude.
Me - Please, be safe Neji.
He stood, stiff, at first, but gave into the hug after a while.
Neji - You have to save Sasuke. You and Naruto are the only ones who can.
Me - I know.
Neji - Why are you so worried?
Me - I just don't want to lose any more important people.
I let go of him.
Neji - I can't promise you that I'll be perfectly fine after this, but I'll try.
Naruto - Kick his ass, Neji!!!
Him and Kiba cheered. Neji smiled at us and jumped down. We went on, and sprinted ahead, catching up to the last two. Kiba and Akamaru did something to temporarily blind both of them, and got the basket carrying Sasuke. Kiba threw it to Naruto, who ran ahead. I tried to catch up with Naruto, but I noticed something. Where did Kiba go? I ran back. Kiba was fighting the dude with gray hair already.
Me - Kiba? It's Setsuai.
Kiba - Hey Setsuai! How are you in my head?
Me - No time. But beat this guy's ass for me, okay?
Kiba - Anything for you, Setsuai.

I could imagine him winking and smiling, and caught up with Naruto and Shikamaru.
Naruto - I got him, Setsuai! Now we can go back!
Me - Yup.
I felt like I was going to explode inside. In this barrel was the boy I loved. Just within reach of me. But then...he wasn't.
Me - Sasuke's gone!
Tetsuya - Hmph. You annoying little pieces of shit can go back now. I've got your damn little Sasuke-bastard here, and there ain't no fucking thing you can do.

(author's note : Just so you know, Tetsuya is the only one of the sound 5 I actually know. xD)


Naruto - Yes there is!
Shikamaru had told us a plan. We were to pretend like we were going to attack Tetsuya, and have her distracted, just in time for Shikamaru to throw us Sasuke. He trusted us with getting him back safely.
I hugged him too. He hugged back, too.
Me - Forget the rule about not hitting women. This lady has no femininity about her. Did you hear her? 'Oh, I'm fucking tetsuya, you fucking damn shits can go fucking run your fucking little damn asses home, and I'm taking this fucking bitchy bastard Sasuke, DADADADADADADA fucking fuck fuckerson.
Shikamaru and Naruto laughed. I kissed Shkamaru once. He blushed after I did. I didn't really see it as a sign of a relationship, nothing really. I just had an impulse to do it.
Shikamaru - So, uh, see you around, i guess. Bye Setsuai. Bye Naruto.
Me - I'll see you too. I want you in perfectly perfect shape when I come back for you.
He smiled and Naruto and I fled. We went to a large clearing out of the forest. Naruto put Sasuke down and proceeded to open the barrel, but then we heard someone behind us.
Guy - Do not do that.
Naruto - Who are you?!?
Guy - Kimimaro. I've come for Sasuke.
Me - You aren't getting him.
I looked at the dots on his forehead. Didn't his clan die out?
Kimimaro - You are the sole survivor, as well. Shikanenai clan. My clan died of dumb wars long ago.
He jestured at the dots.
Kimimaro - Your stars are quite large.
Naruto - ENOUGH TALK!!! Give us back Sasuke!
Kimimaro - No. Orochimaru-sama wants him, so I will fetch him for my master.
Naruto - Master? Orochimaru? That FUCKING CREEP?!?!
Kimimaro - DON'T INSULT MASTER!
He flung at us with a white weapon that was amazingly sharp. I used a replacement jutsu and dashed to another empty space. Naruto grabbed the weapon.
Naruto - What is this?
Me - I'ts bone.
Naruto - Huh?
Kimimaro smiled and pushed Naruto aside. He put his bone into the air and examined it.
Kimimaro - Very sharp. Now, die.
He did this weird thing with the bones and they hit both of us. The bone went in deep in Naruto, and in me. It only stabbed our stomachs, but the pain was amazing. We were still weak from the chakra draining in the dome, and we collasped on the floor. I couldn't heal myself because of the lack of chakra, and I couldn't move at all. Kimimaro approached us and stood over us, smiling.
Kimimaro - You will die no-
Lee - NO! I say they will not die!
He kicked him in the head. Kimimaro fell over, and Lee struck his nice guy pose.
Lee - Go! Get Sasuke and leave!
Just as he finished talking, the barrel began to shake. The top flew off with a blast of chakra, and Sasuke burst out, not even looking back at us. He ran ahead.
Naruto - Sasuke....
Lee - Go and get him, Naruto-kun! Setsuai-chan!
Me - We can't. We have no chakra and are in so much pain.
Lee - Take these. Gai sensei told me to give them to my friends when I needed to.
He pulled out two soildier pills from I don't know where and handed them to Naruto and I.
Naruto - Setsuai. You take it. You can heal me.
Me - No...I'll just use 1 and a half, okay?
Naruto - Fine.
I broke one in half and watched as Kimimaro kept trying to hit Lee without much success. I popped the pills, and immediately felt strong. I healed myself and barely had to heal Naruto at all, but we were still to weak to move. Just then sand formed under us, making a sort of carpet-ish thing.
Me - Gaara!
Gaara - I will help you two get over there. But you have to take charge once the sand disperses.
Me - Why are you here?
Gaara - I have a debt to pay to you all.
The sand began to move Naruto and I in the direction of Sasuke.
Me - Be safe, you two.
Lee - We will!
Lee struck that pose and Gaara nodded. The sand dispersed not too much later, and I saw Sasuke ahead. Naruto went ahead, leaving me behind. My chakra level was still low, oddly. I saw Sasuke and Naruto talking, then yelling, and then they started to fight. I gathered as much energy as I could and ran over there, trying to stop Sasuke. Then I saw him. The curse seal covered his whole body, and his eyes gleamed red as he attacked Naruto.
Me - Sasuke!!!!
He looked at me and smiled. Sinister.
Sasuke - Setsuai-chan. Go away.
Me - No! I don't want to go away! I want you to come with us back home!
Sasuke - I don't live in Konoha anymore. I haven't even met Orochimaru yet and I already feel more powerful.
Me - I cannot believe you.
Sasuke - MM?
Me - Power? This is for power?
Sasuke - What did you think it was about?
Me - I didn't think it was for ANYTHING! I just thought it was a STUPID, STUBBORN, damn decission you made! You...ughhh....
I walked closer to the cliff.
Me - You don't live in Konoha anymore, right? You don't love me anymore, right?
Sasuke - I never said that.
Me - WELL, YOU SURE AS HELL SHOWED IT. I'm sick and tired of this FUCKING life right now. I hate the pain I went through my whole life! I HATED crying when you left. I wanted to hate YOU. I hated MYSELF for loving YOU, Sasuke, and you don't even care! It's like everything we had was pointless! But I don't even care anymore! You can live your own life now. Sorry Naruto.
Naruto Setsuai-chan! What are you doing?!?!
Me - Freeing myself.
I jumped off the cliff.

But just as I was about to hit the ground, two huge hands grabbed me. It was Sasuke. He had two hands coming out of his back, where I was. His skin was pure black, his eyes yellow, his hair long and grey.
Me - What are you?
Sasuke - .....I...
Me - Let go of me! You...you MONSTER!
Sasuke - I can change.
Me - But you already have...
Sasuke flew us up to the edge of the cliff, where Naruto stood, his hands clenched and head down.
Naruto - Setsuai...you have to face the punishments for that...
I nodded my head.
Me - I know.
Naruto - But you....YOU...
He pointed a shaking hand at Sasuke.
Naruto - DID ANY OF OUR TIME TOGETHER MATTER, SASUKE? Yes, I KNOW that you loved Setsuai, but I saw you as FUCKING FAMILY. I know how you feel about living with no family. Did you forget that I grew up with no family?!?
Sasuke - YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO FEEL THE PAIN OF LOSS, NARUTO!!! You know NOTHING about what I went through!!!
Me - But I do. Sasuke, give me a fucking break! You've held this grudge longer than I have, and Itachi was the one who killed my clan too, do you NOT remember? Did you forget that I moved on from it? You have nowhere to go but ahead in life, Sasuke, and all you want to do is stay a fucking little immature child, a selfish little kid who's so full of himself, so caught up in his self, that sees everything to get gain in HIS life. You don't fucking care about other people, how they feel whenever you scoff at them or ignore them! You leaving was just a betrayal of everyone, but they all knew it was coming, they all knew it was coming because of you being the selfish little BASTARD you ARE!!!
Sasuke - Just...just shut UP!! You bitch! All you ever did was hold me back!
Me - Hold you back?!? Sasuke, is that what I did? Is that what it was? What, do you see someone loving you as someone holding you back?
Naruto - Sasuke...you...BASTARD!!!
His body shook and contorted, and he screamed with such animal fury. His nails turned into claws, his whiskers growing, his teeth fangs, his eyes of Kyuubi.
Naruto lunged at Sasuke, and I saw his chakra. It moved differently than Naruto, attacking Sasuke from where Naruto couldn't reach. Sasuke was surprised, and they both fell down the cliff together, attacking each other in mid air. They both landed on statues opposite of each from the waterfall, and began their signature moves.
Sasuke - Chidori!!!
A huge crackling ball of black lightning grew in his hand, the sound of birds coming around me, and it looked like he could destroy Konoha if he wanted to. Naruto did his Rasengan, a huge ball of swirling red chakra, growing with every bit of time that passed. They lunged at each other, their arms thrust in front of them to kill the other.
Me - Stop it! You're going to kill each other!!!!!
I have to do something. I have to stop them.
I knew. The only way to stop them from killing each other was to stop them from hitting each other. I knew that if Sasuke had died, Orochimaru would go into a rage and destroy everything he could, probably including Konoha. I knew that if Naruto died, everyone in Konoha would feel the loss, and probably go after Sasuke, which would end up going to Orochimaru, which would probably end up in more destruction. they both had to live. What was my purpose? I knew being a ninja was important, but I play no big role in the ninja world. I ran so fast, so fast to where the statues were. I timed everything, I analyzed it, got it right. I waited for a few seconds, and then jumped. I used my chakra to try and preserve my memories into a chakra sealed box, for others to see. I didn't add all of the parts with me and Sasuke, for obvious reasons. I went down, down down, and then I was hit by Rasengan and Chidori.
Me - So this is what the attacks feel like...what great power. And this is how it feels to die.
I fell, and Sasuke and Naruto did, too. Even though I took the hit, they were knocked back by the great ammount of power. I screamed out in pain, in a voice I never knew was mine. The apin came all at once, crushing my bones and my muscles and my everything that there was of me that could be crushed. I felt like there was no other pain that could greater, and then I found myself suspended in a big space of nothing.

My closed eyes opened slowly, and hurt immediately as I looked around to see nothing but white. Never had I seen something so pure, something so heavenly.
me - Where am I?
3rd - Your home. For now.
Me - Sarutobi-sama!
He came into view, smiling and young.
Me - You've...changed.
He laughed. AGAIN. HONESTLY.
3rd - Yeah, I've gotten quite younger here. Actually kind of nice.
Me - What is this place? Am I dreaming?
3rd - No, Setsuai. You are in Heaven.
Me - Heaven? Me?
3rd - Of course. We watch over you guys from here.
He moved his arm and that parted the blinding white. I looked below my feet and saw the place where I just was.
Me - We?
3rd - I have someone you would like to meet.
He smiled, and a young man walked in from somewhere. He came up close to me, and smiled.
Man - I am Yondaime.
Me - You? The fourth....wow! I never thought I would ever meet you! I mean, I've heard stories and seen pictures of you, but I never thought that I would even be in any type of connection with you! I feel so....
4th - Crazy, crazy out of your MIND?
Me - YES. Exactly.
He laughed. What a nice laugh. His head went back and his blue eyes crinkled when he did. His flwy flowy blonde hair that I only wish I could have went back and forth, like in Pantene Pro-V commercials. Kinda cool in person, though.
4th - It was nice to see you helping my son out there.
Me - Your son? Is it....Naruto?
I looked up at him. He did look fairly like Naruto, except a little bit hotter and minus the whiskers. He seemed more mature, older, wiser. But he still had that wild look that Naruto has, just smaller eyes. Their color was exactly the same - bluest eyes EVER, blonde hair, and tan skin. If Naruto ever grew up to look like him, girls everywhere would be swooning over him, even more than I already know. Or knew. You know, being dead doesn't imrpove your knowledge of how to use grammar. Sorry, guys.
4th - Yeah...It was that obvious?
Me - Well, you guys have similar feautures, yeah.
3rd - Please. Naruto isn't as much as pretty boy as little Yondaime here.
He laughed, while Yondaime did death glares. AHH.
Me - Can I ask you something, Yondaime-sama?
4th - Yeah?
Me - Why did you seal Kyuubi inside of Naruto?
4th - I wanted to see my son grow up to be powerful. I knew that he would not have his parents around to be with him, so I wanted him to grow up with the love of the villagers. I had hoped that they saw Naruto as a stop to the Kyuubi attack on Konoha.
Me - It didn't turn out that way.
4th - I know.
He looked down at Naruto below us. I did too. Sasuke was hunched over my body, (wow, that sounds weird. Try it. Wwhenever you die, except for those super genius people who somehow found a way to be immortal, say it to yourself. My body. They were hunched over my body. Ughhh.) anyways, he was hunched over me, still. Come on. Sob or something. See what you did?
3rd - I had no clue that you were so cruel. Wanting to see a young man cry.
Me - Heh heh...you heard that?
3rd - Of course. Haven't you noticed that my lips haven't been moving this whole conversation?
Me - WHOAAAAA DUDE WHATA TRIIPP.
He laughed. He opened his mouth - this time - to talk.
3rd - Nice to see you haven't changed.
I looked back down at the others. Sasuke was sitting by me this time. His face was over mine. Please don't be kissing me. Damn necrophilliac. I think. Naruto was unconcious not too far from where I was. Sasuke moved from his sport over my face, and sat next to me. He cradeled me in his arms, and held me tight. I wish I could hold him back. I wish I could see him.
4th - You want to go down there?
Me - Yeah, I would.
4th - Let's go.
He closed his eyes, and then we were down on Earth. Sasuke didn't see us, or couldn't, and buried his face on my body's shoulder. I conciously touched my own heavenly-ish, or whatever I call myself now, shoulder and wished I could feel his touch again.
4th - You want to talk to him?
I nodded.
He made several hand seals and I felt myself getting heavier than before.
Me - Sasuke?
I looked at myself. I was glowing. I looked back at Yondaime, and he was glowing too, but he seemed more ghost-like.
Sasuke - Setsuai? Naruto? You two...
Yondaime laughed.
4th - No, I'm Yondaime Hokage.
Sasuke - How are you here, Setsuai?
4th - You only have a short time.
He walked over to Naruto and crouched down by him, his back to us.
Me - Sasuke. Do you see what came of your stupid decision?
Sasuke - I need to find power.
Me - Still? I cannot believe you! After everything, all you want is power?
Sasuke - I need to avenge you, too, now.
I felt myself getting lighter.
4th - Setsuai.
I nodded.
Me - Goodbye Sasuke. Bye Naruto.
Yondaime and I were back in Heaven, and once we were settled the blank white space finally took a shape. It was like a very nice home, very comfortable. There was a nice, comfy couch with a nice coffee table in front of it. Everything was white and gold, the couch, wood, boorways, everything. This room seemed like it would never end. Yondaime and I sat on the couch, and he turned to me and smiled.
4th - I'm guessing that is your boyfriend down there.
Me - Yeah. HOW DID YOU KNOW!

4th - Eh, just a guess. And plus, I saw your memory box. Nice trick. Let people know your story.
Me - Thanks.
4th - You know, I don't think I've ever met another ninja like you, Setsuai. I've been watching you from up here, and I've seen your amazing power when you're with Naruto. Your ability to pick up Rasengan and Chidori so quickly was great, and your power punch is the best I've ever seen. You could really surpass Tsunade. I think you already have.

I looked back down to see Sasuke and Naruto. Sasuke was gone, and Kakashi was standing over Naruto and I. He had apparently brought my body closer to Naruto. He knelt besides us, and I heard what he said.

Kakashi - Two of my own pupils....one I loved....I can't believe this.
He looked up, and it seemed like he was looking directly at me, so at first I got the impulse to hide behind Yondaime. But instead I smiled and waved, even if he couldn't see me.

Me -Loved?
4th - He loves you very deeply, Setsuai. I think you already knew that.
Me - No, but...what? I've never even seen his face! He's older than me, and so many girls like him. Why me?
4th - I think that many guys liked you.
Me - Oh, really. Name them.
4th - Let's see...there's Kiba. Shikamaru. Lee.
Me - LEE??? FUZZY EYEBROWS?!?
He laughed.
4th - I guess you could call it that. Sarutobi-sama told me about these guys, and I proceeded to watch them. I had my eye on you, too.
Me - Stalker?
He laughed again. AM I COOL OR WHAT?!? TWO HOKAGES LAUGHING AT ME.
4th - No. But it seems that Naruto had some feelings for you, too.
Me - Naruto? But him and Hinata were together!
4th - Actually, no, they weren't. The only time they ever even made any body contact was in the ramen shop. Naruto found that he could talk to Hinata easily, so you often saw them together because of that.
Me - Really? How does Hinata feel about this?
4th - She's fine with it. She felt she wasn't fit to be his girlfriend, anyway. She likes being the secret holder of my son.

I grew up my life as Uzumaki Aori. I was known as 'The Blonde Wind' in the academy. I had so many friends, so many. Girls swooned over me. (: I was unstoppable in tests and in practice. I graduated with my friends, Miyuu and Sokktu. They were on my team, and I got the nickname 'Konoha's Yellow Flash' when I became a jounin. Many believe that I died when I contained Kyuubi, but they're wrong. I died after that. The amazing power of Kyuubi damaged my body inside, which only let me live for a little while longer. I desperately wanted to live with my son in this time, but I couldn't. Kakashi had already become a jounin, Obito dead and Rina(?) disappeared. I didn't have to worry. So I passed away quietly.

Me - Wow. Aori-kun. Who's Naruto's mom?
Aori - She...is someone you wouldn't know.
Me - Is she dead?
Aori - No, I lost track of her, though.
Me - Couldn't you just try to find her?
Aori - It's a big world out there, Setsuai. It's not easy to find anyone.
Me - Oh.
He stood up and walked aroung the room, looking for something. He seemed to glide across the floor.
Me - Aori-kun? How do you glide like that? I just step like before.
Aori - Tell me..
He tapped on a wall that came out of nowhere.
Aori - Do you feel light as nothing? Do you feel like you walk around effortlessly?
Me - No, I don't.
He smiled at me.
Me - What does it mean?
Aori - I think you know, already.

Time for Konoha, doe.
Tsunade was in a room with the elders of the village. They were having a conference.
Elderly Lady #1 - I cannot believe that Setsuai was found dead. Now who will succeed Tsunade?
Tsunade - Actually, ANBU reports have told me something very crucial to this problem.
EL#2 - Oh, yes, that Setsuai is REALLY dead? Oh, new news!
Tsunade - No. They still found a slight trace of a chakra flow throughout her body. The chakra from her memory box was extremely great. You wouldn't even believe.
Em#1 - Really?
Tsunade - Oh yes.
She smiled.
Tsunade - This means that our little Setsuai is alive.
EL#1 - What?!?! It isn't possbile! No one can withstand death!
Tsunade - Apparently, that's not true.
EL#2 - What will we do about the funeral schedhuled for today, though?
Tsunade - Go on with it. If anything, whenever Setsuai comes back to us, the village will have even more faith in her. They will feel safe, secure, with her. If their new village leader can withstand death by two of the most powerful attacks of all shinobi, what do you think they will feel?
EL#2 - I see your point.
Tsunade - Well, we should leave for the Funeral. No word of this outside the room, okay?
They all said yes, and left.
It was raining when they had Setsuai's funeral. The sun darted behind clouds as if it was afraid of what the villagers would do if they saw it peeking out it's happy self on this awful day. Naruto stood with the injured Kiba, Neji, Shikamaru and Chouji, dressed in all black. His eyes were sad throughout the whole thing.
Shikamaru - The sky is crying.
Naruto - At least it has Setsuai up there.
Tsunade - Attention. Now, what we have here is a great loss to Konoha, to the world, even. There were many here who loved her, so many. She was the perfect girl, beautiful, powerful, intelligent. She was the last of the Shikanenai clan, the infamous clan of amazing capabilities. She was byfar, the most powerful Kunoichi I've ever met. She could have easily surpassed me, and she would have. I was going to select her as my successor in the name of Hokage.
Naruto looked up, giving his full attention to Tsunade.
Naruto - Hokage...wow...
Tsunade - Let us honor Setsuai with not grief, sadness. She wouldn't like that, being the happy being she was. She would want you all to be happy that you got to live with her, and she wants you to be happy about all of the memories. Let Shikanenai Setsuai be at peace.
The rain stopped, and the sun came out of hiding, drenching everyone in light, making the shadows larger. And somewhere in those shadows sat a quiet and sad Uchiha Sasuke.

Lolz. Back to Heaven or whatever.
Aori - You understand that you will be leaving me very soon, right?
Me - I don't want to. This place is so nice.
Aori - But the world needs you. I'm going to teach you how to be in complete control of everything. All of your power. How to conserve it, how to control, how to put it to the best use.
Me - Really?
Aori - Yes. We need to let go of somethings, first, though. To be able to be all powerful, you need to lose all connections with those that block your way. It's somewhat like what Sasuke said to you, but for good. You need to lose grudges, hate, love, likes, grief, sadness, and obstacles. You have to focus on all of these things and throw them from your mind. Rid of them.
Me - Rid of them? Rid of my feelings for everyone?
Aori - Not exactly. You will still have your same feelings for everyone, but you will be able to control yourself. It's very hard to explain.
Me - Yeah, I can tell.
Aori - Shall we get started?
Me - Yeah, sure, why not.

A month passed by so quickly I couldn't even register all of the events. I learned how to act wisely with my actions and stuff, and how to let go of those that I need to. I almost let go of Sasuke, but I didn't want to lose all of my love for him, so I kept a tiny piece. I had etched Aori in my memory forever. He was the hottest sensei I will ever have, and probably my favorite. I kissed him once, and he didn't stop me. We still had the rest of the year that Aori predicted for me to be here for. My chakra was so low in my body that it was amazing that it could even be considered alive, but it went up slowly. Aori taught me so many things, so many, that it was a wonder that my new found chakra didn't go to my body. I loved being with Aori. We joked around a lot. I turned 15 when I was with him. He still stayed 20, forever and ever, and I liked him that way. One day he had a huge surprise for me. I was really nervous, because he sounded so excited.
Aori - I want you to see some people.
Me - Who?
Aori - You'll know.
He covered my eyes with his hands and I felt a shift of rooms. When I opened my eyes again and his hands were down, I saw them. My family. My clan.
Me - Oh!
I broke into tears on the spot.
Out of all of them I saw my little brother first. He ran to me, and we hugged and danced around. The same with my older brother. I didn't see my parents. I was a little disappointed. My little brother kept wiping away tears and hugging me, and my family all laughed and joked with me.
I turned to Aori amidst all the chaos.
I mouthed 'thank you.' to him. He smiled.
A few more months passed by, full of training and visiting my family.
Then came the dreaded month. Not really. It was the month where I would leave Aori and Sarutobi-sama, whom I barely saw. I hugged Sarutobi and he disappeared, and Aori grabbed my hand and kissed it.
Aori - I'll be watching you, Setsuai.
Me - Because that doesn't sound stalker like.
He laughed and then kissed me lightly.
Aori - I'll always be in here, right?
He pointed to my heart.
Me - Of course. And here.
I tapped my forehead.
Aori - Right.
I felt myself getting heavier. I held onto Aori, and gave him on final goodbye kiss.
Aori - Goodbye, Setsuai.

The white turned to black, and I opened my eyes to find myself in a hospital room with ANBU around me, their backs turned to me. I got up as silently as I could.
Me - Hey. I gotta pee.
The ANBU members looked at me in shock. I think. I couldn't really see their faces because of the masks, dur, but I just guessed.
Me - Where's the bathroom at?
They pointed to a door in the room. I walked over there, hoping that they wouldn't watch me in the bathroom. I went in and turned on the light. I looked in the mirror, and stared at my reflection. My hair was short and straight. It had thinned out a lot. My eyes were green as ever, and my stars were bright. My skin had gotten a tad bit paler, but was still tan. I brushed my teeth and peed, then went back out.
Me - Whats a girl gotta do to get a change of clothes?
ANBU #1 - I'll take you to your home.
They grabbed me and next thing I know I'm a my old home. t was exactly how it was before. Untouched. Everything had a tiny layer of dust on it. I showered and then I went into my room and tried to put on some of my clothes, but I couldn't. I certainly had, um, developed in my lower back upper thigh-ish region and below the neck above the belly spot. And I had gotten a bit taller. My clothes looked ridiculous, so I kept on the bandage-ish tanktop and sweats I had on.
Me - I think I need to go shopping.
The ANBU member grabbed me again and then we were on Fan Fan street. I bought a black silk kimono and a few tee shirts and skirts. I changed into the kimono, and the ANBU guy held me and I was in front of Tsunade's office, alone.
I went inl, confused.
Tsunade - SETSUAI!!!!
Me - Hey Tsunade!!!!
Tsunade ran over and embraced me.
Tsunade - Oh, Setsuai, I missed you so much. I knew you would come back. How was...whatever?
Me - Oh, GOD, it was GREAT. I met the 4th hokage, whose name is Uzumaki Aori.
Tsunade - Naruto's father.
Me - YES, AND HE'S SO COOL.
I was blushing.
Tsunade - Setsuai...what did you do?
Me - I...may have kissed him a few times.
Tsunade - kIssed?
Me - Made out, same thing, but it was okay because he was really young and he wanted it. Even Sarutobi-sama approved. Kind of odd, really.
Tsunade - I don't really get it, but congrats because Aori is pretty cute.
Me - Yeah....HEY.
She laughed.
Tsunade - I have a surprise for you, Setsuai.
She wrote a note and tied it to a bird and then sent it out.
Tsunade - You should get all dressed up.
Me - But I am!
Tsunade - No, I mea really nicely dressed up. Come with me.
She showed me out her door and to Shizune's office.
Tsunade - Shizune! Get out the outfit!
She nodded and took out a large plastic bag from a drawer in one of her desks. She smiled at me and gave it to me.
Shizune - Welcome back, Setsuai-sama.
Me - Sama?
Tsunade - Open the bag.
I did. Inside was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. There was a pure silk blue, white and gray shirt that wraps around, with long, flowing sleeves and an amazing pattern on it. The pants were pure white silk, with silver stitching. They were cinched at the bottom, which made them appear to just bag up perfectly, which still complimented my shape and looked amazingly beautiful. The shoes were silver flats that had strings to wrap around the bottom part of my leg, which still showed. The clothes fit perfectly. Shizune pulled my hair into a simple, but beautiful messy bun, and somehow tied beads into it. She painted my face with the lightest, best smelling make up I've ever even seen, even though I never wore make up before. The lipstick was a natural shade of pink. The blush looked so natural, and my skin looked amazingly soft and clear. I smiled at my reflection Shizune presented me with, and I almost cried.
Me - Wwhy the special treatment?
Tsunade - You'll see.
We went outside and got into her coolness carriage, with the curatins pulled. We rode and rode, and then I looked out the window to see decorations everywhere. People were outside, watching and waiting to see why everything was so nice. The carriage stopped at the end of one large road, and Tsunade gave me an umbrella that was fancy, too. It had a veil around it when it opened that could hide anyone under it, and had diamonds sewn into the veil.
Tsunade - Cover yourself, Setsuai. Do not let anyone see you.
I put my head down when I stepped out of the carriage, and opened it immediately.
Me - Wwhat's this?
I head people whispering as I walked past. I followed Tsunade to wherever she was going, which was a stage. Shizune stopped me a few yards in front of it, and Tsunade went on the stage.
Tsunade - Konohagakure! Today is a VERY special day! This is the day of life found again, the day where someone we all know comes back.
Random Chick - Is It Sasuke?!?!
Sasuke.
My heart sunk a little bit.
Tsunade - No. It is...your future hokage. My future successor, Shikanenai Setsuai!
Me - Future hokage? Successor?
Shizune took the umberella and told me to go on stage. I did, and looked at all of the faces when I walked by. I didn't recognize anyone, except for a smilng, plae girl with long dark hair.
Me - Hi Hinata!
She waved, and I got onstage.
Tsunade - Setsuai. It has been though over, and you are going to be the 6th hokage.
Me - 6th...hokage?
I wiped tears from my eyes.
Me - 6th hokage. Wow. I'm just so...happy. I'm so happy to be here.
I turned to the crowd of people, who had came close to the stage, which was guarded by ANBU.
Me - I am honored to be named 6th Hokage of this great village!
The crowd cheered and a huge party went on. I found Hinata in the crowd, and we hugged the second we saw each other.
Hinata - I..I can-t b-b-believe you are e-e-ven he-he-her-here!
Me - I know, right?!?
We went through the crowd to find more of our friends. the first one we saw was
Me - Choji!!!
Choji - Setsuai-chan! It's so nice to see you! You were gone for a year! Everyone said you died, we had a funeral, and it was just WOW!!! Wait until everyone else sees you!
Me - Any idea where they could be?
Choji - I'll help you find them.
We searched around, and found Lee and Tenten. Wwe all said our happy hi's, and not too much after we found Neji. I ran up to him and hugged him so tight, so tight.
Me - Neji! i'm so happy to see you!
Neji - I'm so glad that you're here, Setsuai. Konoha just wasn't the same without you.
Me - It was kind alonely in Heaven for a year, ya know? It was nice seing my family again, though.
Neji - I'm so...happy.
We broke apart from the hug. Then I got hugged again by a boy with messy brown hair and a leather jacket.
Kiba - AHHHHH, SETSUAI!!!!!
He whisteled and then a huge dog came our way.
Me - Akamaru?!?!?! YOU'VE GOTTEN SO BIG!
Akamaru ran over to me in all his hugemongous glory and kept licking my face. I scratched his head.
Kiba - Big? I didn't even notice.
I laughed, remembering the 'dog on head' days.
Kiba - It's nice seeing you, Setsuai.
Me - You too, Kiba.
He kissed me.
And I didn't stop him.
I couldn't help but feel a bit guilty. I hadn't let all go all the way of Sasuke yet, and a part of me kept thinking that what I was doing was wrong. I pulled away from Kiba, and he looked at me with confusion.
Kiba - Setsuai, what's wrong?
I looked down, hoping he wouldn't notice my eyes.
Kiba - It's Sasuke, isn't it?
Me - Yeah.
Kiba - I understand. But if you ever...um...get lonely, I guess, you can call me.
He smiled and I did too. I hugged him once, and went through the crowd, looking for people I knew. I saw Ino and Asuma both trying to pry Choji from the food carts. I kept looking around. Where was Naruto?
Kakashi - Looking for someone?
I turned to find Kakashi in all his gravity-defying-hairish glory, possibly smiling down at me. Whether he was or not, I smiled back.
Me - Yeah, actually, I am.
Kakashi - Who is it? If it's me, I'm right here.
Me - Well, it was going to be you, but now you're here, so I guess you could help me.
Kakashi - MMMmmmhm.
Me - Yeah, um, where is Naruto?
People around us stopped talking and looked at me.
Kakashi - Naruto is gone.
Me - Gone?!? Like what?!? Wwhat do you mean gone!?! I was up with Aori and Naruto never came to us-
Kakashi - Aori? Who's that?
Me - Um, Fourth Hokage, yeah, heheh, kind of hard to explain, but STOP CHANGING THE SUBJECT! What happened to Naruto?!?
Kakashi - Calm down, Setsuai. He's out with Jiraiya to be training for a few years.
Me - How long will he be gone?
Kakashi - He's been gone a year already, so probably in about 1 1/2 more years.
Me - Wow. Wowww.
Kakashi - So...how's Aori? I never knew his name. I always knew him as Hokage-sama.
Me - Yeah, pretty much everyone, right?
Kakashi - He was my sensei once.
Me - I know. He told me.
Kakashi - So...where was 'up'?
Me - Heaven. I saw my family. I saw Sarutobi-sama, too. It was really nice.
Kakashi - Do any kind of training up there? How was Aori?
I started talking faster and faster, so happy with seeing Konoha again that I really wanted to just get away from Kakashi and into the city as fast as I could
Me - I actually did do training. I was with Aori practically 24/7, and he told me about everything he's seen from heaven. Wwe watched people, kissed a few times, trainedtrainedtrained until I was dead tired and then went to our home and thenwekeptdoingeverythingoverandoveranditwaskindafunandIreallymisshimbutnowImbackandit'sgoodtoseeyouKakashi.
Kakashi - Wwait....did you say...kiss?
Me - Did I? Heheheheh... I mean, not texactly, did I really say that? Because I...um...hehehe.
Kakashi - God, do you KNOW any guys who don't like you?
Me - Um...yeah.
Kakashi - Like who?!!? Of course not all the older guys, yeah, I know that.
Me - Um...there is Choji. And Kankouro. Gaara. You.
Kakashi - Right...well, um, I guess I'll see you around...eh...bye.
He disappeared. I walked around the festival a little bit and then went around town where it was completely empty. I liked the quiet, the cold night air on my face. I looked up at the full moon and remembered being in Sasuke's bed with the moon smiling at us.
The tears came faster than I could try and stop.
Me - How come things turned out like this?
Neji - I know.
Me - Neji!
He walked up to me and sat down on the tree stump behind us. I followed.
Neji - Feeling bad about Sasuke, right?
Me - Yeah. I tried to let go of him in my training, but I just...couldn't. Aori, the fourth hokage, told me to let go of the one thing that's holding me back.
Neji - Sasuke.
Me - Exactly. I knew I had to let go of him, but I just couldn't. I mean, how hard is it to lose the one you love? The one you hope loves you back, the one you wish would never ever leave you.
Neji - I'm sure a lot of guys here felt exactly the same once Tsunade broke the news about you being...gone.
Me - I'm so sorry. I was just so stupid...I should have never let myself get so carried way with Sasuke.
Neji - Better to have loved and lost than never have loved at all.
Me - You're right, Neji.
I loked over at him, and it was nice to see him smile. He had aged a little bit since I last saw him. His face looked more mature. Wiser, even. When I spoke my voice was very soft, almost a whisper.
Me - I think I should go home now.
Neji - You're right. Do you want me to walk you?
Me - No...I want to be alone for a while.
Neji got up and helped me up. He walked me for a little bit, and then we parted ways. I walked home completely silent, not even caring that someone was following me. I didn't even try to rcognize them. I went inside my home, and walked into my room, undressing, and not even bothering with pajamas as I slid into bed and fell asleep.

I awoke late morning, and jumped in the springs. It felt great to be back in them. I loved having the feeling of warm all around me. As soon as I got out I dressed and went to the Hokage's building. Partly mine, bwahaha. Tsunade was there already.
Me - Hey Tsunade.
Tsunade - Good morning!
Me - Can I ask you something?
Tsunade - Shoot.
Me - What did I do to deserve this spot? I have hardly done anything besides mess with Sasuke and do some missions.
Tsunade - Well, everyone knows that you are the most powerful ninja we have seen.
Me - I wouldn't say-
Tsunade - Shush. As I was saying, you're pretty damn powerful, and the elders saw something in you. Something that made them trust you. Your sincerity, your view of good, your power, your everything. You were perfect for the job, and they knew that so many would be after you, and they wanted to make you leader as soon as possible. Also, the elders wanted to bring Konohagakure back to it's original glory. It just was the right thing again.
Me - That's the reason?
Tsunade - Of course. And it may not seem like a good reason, but we know that you will be good for this position. So, are you happy with your position? Do you want to decline?
Me - I am honored....and alothough right now it seems like a lot to take on, I'm going to accept it.
Tsunade - Excellent. Now, I'll explain your position.
You are unlike any other hokage. You will be reasoning with other villages to get more allies often. You will go on missions, lead exams and also lead ANBU. You will also be in charge of who passes the exams, and who become Genin. That's not all of it. Sound fun? Well, be glad you don't hve to do paperwork. I've got that part covered.
Me - Wow. This is just....I'll get started. What do I do?
Tsunade - A lot.
Over the new year or so I had done everything she told me to. Someone new took over ANBU, a young man with a nice face that reminded me of Sasuke. We called him Tiger. I never knew his real name. I had finally created my own signature jutsu, a powerful move I named Aoriteseika. Literally meaning A beautiful, whispering gust of wind. I got the wind from Aori himself. He inspired me to do this. In this jutsu, I controlled the wind around me to bring me up off of the ground, and swirl around me until I became sort of a human tornado, only much more powerful, and all you could hear was a whisper, and all you could see was the chakra swirling in with the wind around me, making a beautiful sight. Now see where I got the name? If not, go die. Now.
I waited patiently for Naruto. I had gone out with Neji, Shikamaru and Kiba over periods of time, and none of them lasted. I never did anything serious with them, nothing really. We were all just good friends with odd memories, now. I had been single for about 6 months now. Oddly enough, it felt good. I didn't liekt rying to replace Sasuke with someone else, and being alone just made me feel more like myself, even though it wasn't very fun when the space next to you in bed is cold and empty. Kakashi visited me often, except for when I was daiting anyone. I grew to like him more and more as a friend, not just a sensei. I felt like I grew up with him as a friend from school or something. I never really did learn a lot about him. But he was a great guy. But I still had not seen his face. Very frustrating. Konoha gradually got allies with other hidden villages. A few more monthes went by. No sign of Naruto. I waited and waited everyday by the gates. Tsunade gave up with the paperwork and gave me the job of doing it. She went off to go do what she called 'Older Hokage Business', but I knew that just meant gambling and drowing herself with sake. I stayed in the Hokage building everyday, and had moved my stuff in there. I fell asleep one night of a full moon, with my hair pulled back and an outfit very similar to Tsunade's. She told me it looked nice on me. But she also said that she worked it better. I laughed at her when she left. I made sure she didn't hear me, or I would be getting a power punch in the face, and that is not very fun. Anyway, I fell asleep with face in the papers on the desk I was working on. I awoke very early, around 3 or 4 A.M., because of a knock on my door. The shadows cast over me. My voice was deep because I hadn't woken up fully yet, and it was muffled by the papers.
Me -Come in.
They came in, and I couldn't lift my head, so I didn't bother. I didn't recognize them. Their chakra was so so great, so controlled. Unlike any other I've ever sensed.
Guy - Granny Tsunade!!! Wake up!!!
His voice was deep, rough, and loud. It was young, and I thought I could recognize it.
Jiraiya - I don't think that's Tsunade, Naruto.
I sat up immediately.
Me - Naruto!!!!!!!!!!!
I smiled at the sight of him. He had grown to look almost identical to Aori, just his eyes were a bit bigger and the whiskers were still there. His hair was almost like Aori's, too. He had grown much, MUCH taller. His eyes opened in shock when he saw me.
Naruto - W-who are you?!?! You're not Granny Tsunade!!!
I got up from the desk.
Me - Do you recognize me?
He gulped.
Naruto - I do...but it cannot be you...you're not her...
Me - It's me! Setsuai!
Jiraiya jumped back with a start.
Jiraiya - WHAAT?!?!?! YOU!!! SETSUAI?!?!?!?!?!?!
He covered his nose and I had a sudden urge to power punch him right then and there. wee. I love saying that. power punch. POWER-AAA PUNCH-AHH. okay. Back to reality. OOPS, THERE GOES GRAVITY, OOPS, HE'S SO MAD BUT HE WON'T GIVE UP THAT EASY, NOPE - okay. I'll stop now.
Me - Yeah. I've been ressurected, babaaay. Actaully, I was never dead. But that's beside the point.
Naruto - Z-z-z-z-zombie?!?!?!
Me - No, dobe.
Naruto - Phew. So, what are you doing in here?
Me - I'm the 6th hokage.
Naruto - Wwhat?!?!?! Y-y-y-y-y-YOU?!?!?!
Me - Yes, m-m-m-m-m-MEEE.
Jiraiya smiled.
Jiraiya - I should have known. I'm gonna be going home now. I need to bathe.
Me - Nice to know.
Naruto followed Jiraiya, and then ran back to me and hugged me.
Naruto - It's good to see you, Setsuai.
Me - You too, Naruto.
I wiped my TEARS OF JOYYY and went out too. Tsunade can handle the rest of the papers. I need to sleep. I left the office and started walking to my house. I didn't care that there was somebody following me. I stopped a few blocks away from the house and changed my direction to go into near the trees of the woods. The person followed me there too, and I couldn't take it anymore and threw a power punch to where they were. Then he came out. It was Neji. His pale eyes crinkled a little bit when he smiled at me, blushing.
Neji - Eh...sorry. Ijust wanted to make sure you got home safe.
Me - No need.
Neji - Yeah...um...
Me - What's up?
Neji - I just wanted to say..it's nice to have you back here.
Me - It's nice to be back.
Neji - Yeah...How was Heaven?
Me - It was really nice. I got to see my family and some others.
Neji - That's good.
There was an awkward silence. Neji smiled and then looked at me. The moonlight sone everywhere. Neji's eyes darted everywhere but at me, and I noticed how much he had changed. He was a lot nicer, a lot more mature-looking, and he also seemed stronger. His personality changed for the better, too. The Neji I first met would have never looked anywhere but my eyes, and would never smile. Or say 'um'.
I looked up at the moon, and Neji did too. It brought back memories of Sasuke. How we would always look out the window to see the moonlight spilling all over us, how we would take walks outside at night, go in the springs. I stopped my tears.
Neji - Wwhat's wrong?
Me - I just...I don't...
Neji - It's Sasuke, isn't it?
Me - Yeah. I tried to let go of him in my training, I tried. But I just..couldn't. I wanted to hate him, but all I feel right now is love, and it hurts so bad!
Neji came over to me and held me gently in his arms.
Me - Sometimes I wish that I had never loved him at all...
N eji - It's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.
Me - You're right. But it hurts so much to lose. To know that the one you love won't be there the next day, or ever, for that matter.
Neji - Now you know how so many felt when you...died.
I broke away from the hug and began to walk.
Me - I should...go home now.
Neji - I'll walk you there, if you want.
Me - No, it's fine. I'll be on my way now.
Neji - Bye, Setsuai.
We each went different ways.
When I got home I bathed in the hot springs. It felt relaxing to sit and soak. Then I went inside, not even bothering with pajamas, and fel asleep in my bed. When I awoke, it was around late morning. I went straight to my office and saw Tsunade there, angry at me.
Tsunade - I have to do all this paperwork?
Me - Well, I did everything already. You just have to stamp your stamp on them.
Tsunade - I have a hangover. Stamping is too hard.
Me - Not my fault.
Tsunade grabbed her head and began to heal it.
Tsunade - Ahhh. Much better. Now, run along. Since you left all this work here, I have to get to it.
Me - What do I do for the day?
Tsunade - Take a day off. I got mine yesterday. Go spend some time with Naruto. I'm sure you will find something to do.
I thanked her and left, off to Naruto's apartment. I knocked on the door, and nobody answered, so I barged it. I was attacked by Jiraiya right when the door opened, but I blocked it. He blushed and smiled when he saw it was me.
Jiraiya - Oh, Setsuai. Nice to see you. Naruto's asleep.
Me - I'll wake him up.
Jiraiya - Impossible. I already tried.
Me - I can do anything.
I crept into the bedroom and lay down next to him as quietly as I could. Then I reached my hand up his shirt and rubbed. He laughed a little, and then i got an idea.
Tickle monster. BWAHAHAHAHA!
Naruto - AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! STOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!!
I did, and I laughed with Naruto.
Naruto - Good morning, Setsuai-chan. What are you doing here?
Me - Just came for a visit on my day off. What are you doing here?
Naruto - Um....I live here?
Me - Oh, right. Heh heh heh.
Naruto - It's your day off?
Me - Yes it IS! Let's go say hi to everyone. I don't think anyone knows that you're back yet.
Naruto - Right! But fiiiirst....
he got dressed and we ran to Ichiraku's together for some yummy yum yum ramen. We left stuffed, and walked around the village, trying to find everyone. We went into the flower shop, and sure enough, Ino was there.
Me - Inoooo!!!
Ino - Setsuai!!! Who's this guy? Huuuh?
Me - Ino. Meet, Naruto.
Ino - Naruto?!!?!?!? I haven't seen you in FOREVER!!!
She smiled and waved.
Ino - Now get out. I have to keep working.
She shooed us out and then we went to the team 8 training grounds.
Naruto - No one's here.
I knew otherwise. I sensed where they were, and threw a kunai in each direction.
Me - One!
I threw in a place in the trees.
Kiba -Yaaahhhh!!!
Naruto laughed.
Me - Two!
I threw it, and I heard a grunt.
Me - Three!
Hinata was on the tree to the left of me, and I threw the kunai so it went just above her head.
Hinata - Setsuai-chan!!! It's nice to see you!
She came up to me, and turned beet red the moment she saw Naruto. He ran up to her and hugged her.
Naruto - Hinata-chan! I missed you so much! Did you miss me?
She stutterd like crazy and then fainted.
Kiba - Yaaahh, what did you do to her?
he rode on Akamaru to Naruto.
Naruto - WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!?!
Kiba - Don't you recognize Akamaru?
Naruto - HE GOT SO BIG!!!
Kiba - I didn't notice.
Shino popped out the trees in a creepy way. He was dressed kinda creepy, too. Cool, but creepy. The only part of him you could see was NOTHING. Everything was covered with cloth, or his goggles.
Naruto - Um...you are....
Shino - Do you not recognize me, Naruto-kun? Setsuai-chan?
Naruto - THAT'S IT!!! YOU'RE SHINO!!
Shino - Finally.
Naruto - Eh heh heh heh...I'll leave Hinata to you guys. BYE.
He ran off and took me with him.
Me - Why are we running?
Naruto - Shino is scary when he gets mad!!
I laughed and ran alongside him. Then we got stopped.
Kakashi - MMMM. Naruto. Long time, no see.
Naruto - KAKASHI-SENSEEEIII!!!!! You haven't changed at all! I HAVE A PRESENT FOR YOU!
Naruto reached into his backpack and pulled out a bunch of orange books.
Naruto - Ero-sennin asked me to give you these. I read them. I don't understand why you like them.
Kakashi looked like he would break down and cry any second now.
Kakashi - NARUTO!! YOU GOT ME THE WHOLE SERIES!!! NOT EVEN RELEASED!!!!! OH I COULD JUST KISS SOMEONE RIGHT NOW!!
Naruto pushed me towards him, smiling.
Naruto - Hey, it won't be me.
Kakashi picked me up and spun me around, laughing. I laughed too, because Kakashi had never showed this much emotion since I met him.
Me - Put me down you DORK!!
He did.
Kakashi - So mean, Setsuai.
He made a sad eye.
Naruto - You know, we can't see your face so it doesn't matter what faces you make. e.e
Kakashi - EH EHE HE HEH. Right. So...I'll see you around.
Naruto & I - Bye, Kakashi-sensei!!!
When Kakashi left, I pulled Naruto into the woods. We walked where no one could hear us.
Naruto - You're not going to...rape me, are you?
ME - WHAT THE HELL, YOU DUMB ASS!?!?!?!
Naruto - WHAT?!?! I read it in Ero-sennin's books! They took him into a quiet clearing in the forest and raped him!
Me - That Jiraiya...>o< Anyways, I want to tell you something. When I....semi-died, I met your dad.
Naruto - Really?
Me- Yeah. Do you want to know who it is?
Naruto - YES!!!
Me - His name is Aori Uzumaki. A.K.A Konoha's Yellow Flash, also known as Yondaime, or as some remember, the Fourth Hokage.
Naruto collasped onto his knees.
Naruto - Yondaime? Aori? My....my dad?
Me - Yes, actually. He's very nice. He was very young when I met him. He chose to be young. We could do that up there.
Naruto - I can't believe it.
Me - Are you okay?
I knelt beside him.
Naruto - Why would he put Kyuubi in me?!? He should have known what would happen!!
Me - No, he thought that you would be looked upon as a hero. He knew that you would grow up alone, and he wanted the village to take care of you. He didn't know what would happen, and regrets his decision. But he also says it's helped you, too, because while others judged you because of something that wasn't your fault, you found friends who would care for you no matter what.
Naruto - Yeah....I guess so.
He looked at me and smiled a very sincere smile.
Me - Let's go find Shikamaru. I'm sure Choji will be with him too.
Naruto - And where could they be at?
We both thought, but it was only for a second.
Naruto & I - The barbeque shop.
Naruto and I ran to that one barbeque place Asuma always takes his team to and rushed inside. And of course, in the table by the window, sat Shikamaru and Choji. But there was an unexpected diner.
Me - Temari?
Temari - Hey, Setsuai. Long time no see. How was being dead?
Me - Um....it was cool.
What's going on with her? Wwhy is she acting so kind?
Me - Um....what's going on with you? W-why are you acting so kind?
Temari smiled.
Temari - Well....I heard your whole life story at your funeral. I knew what you had been through. Gaara went through almost the same thing, but he didn't have a big clan. And he was sort of happy when his father died. You guys are alike, and I realized that when you were back there you were only showing similar acts that Gaara does.
Si-si-s-s-s-s-si-similar t-t-t-t-o Gaara??
I twitched.
Temari - Gaara has changed a lot, and I can see that you have, too.
Me - Thanks...
Awkwaaaard silence.
Shikamaru - It's very nice to see you, Setsuai-chan.
Me - You too. Everyone, say hi to Naruto! He's missed you guys a lot.
Naruto waved.
Shikamaru - It IS you! I thought it was you.
Choji - He's just gotten pretty tall and doesn't wear that blinding orange anymore, huh?
Naruto - Ehehehehe. Yeah...
Me - Um....we'll be going now.
Shikamaru - Okay then.
Choji ordered seconds, and Shikamaru sighed.
Shikamaru - How troublesome.
Naruto and I walked out of the restaurant.
Naruto - That....was weird.
Me - I know, right?
Naruto - Yeh.
Me - What do you want to do next?
Naruto - Um....I don't really know.
But then a huge ink monster pounced at Naruto form in front of him and behind. He punched through the front one and me the back.
Naruto - What the hell was that?!?
Me - Shut up and fight!
More and more monsters came. They were fairly easy to defeat, but they just kept coming and coming and coming. I knew this person...but who were they? I don't remember a name at all. All I remember is a chakra level.
Me - Naruto. I'll make som kage bunshin to help you fight. I'm gonna go investigate.
Naruto - Got it!
I did just that, and then hid my pressence. I jumped onto the edge of the building, where the attacker was. He was a young man with black hair that fell on his face and an all black outfit. The shit showed his stomach, which seemed kind of weird at first, but his stomach was really nice so it was kinda hot. xD
Me - Who are you?
He looked at me with no expression on his face.
Me - Answer me.
He didn't say anything and sent more ink monsters around me, making a dome and hiding the outside world. I hit them all, but he had disappeared by the time I could see. I jumped down to Naruto, who was frustrated.
Naruto - Kosu...That bastard just attacks us out of nowhere?!? Who does he think he is?
Me - I really don't know. He's gone, though.
Naruto - We gotta tell Tsunade!
Me - I'm still the Hokage, Naruto.
Naruto - Sorry...I forgot.
Me - Wwe should go home and get some rest. Well, you can do what you want, but I'm kinda tired.
Naruto - Me too. Risking my life outside of Konoha is not a very easy task, you know.
We went home, evern though it was only the afternoon, and I just soaked in the springs. After I was done, I got in bed and lay there until I fell asleep.

The next morning I went straight to my office and sat at the desk, bored already. I signed all the papers I needed, and then two ANBU appeared in the room.
ANBU #1 - Hokage-sama!!!
Me - Yes?
Anbu #2 - An important message from Sand Village!
He handed it to me. I opened it quickly.
Me - Thank you. You can leave now.
They did, and I sent out a bird to Shikamaru. He appeared quickly.
Shikamaru - Hokage-sama!
Me - Shikamaru, I have an important message from the Sand Village.
Shikamaru - What is it?
Me - Their Kazekage was taken by Akatsuki.
Shikamaru - Gaara? He was...taken?
Me - Yes. I'm going to assign this mission to you, and I'll come along with you. Naruto will come along as well.
Shikamaru - Right. Hey...what's that?
He pointed on my desk, where a letter sat that I hadn't seen earlier. It had a gold stamp on the back, and I opened it.
Setsuai-Sama. I am the sensei of a shinobi who was chosen to replace Sasuke on your Team 8. He will come in shortly after you read this letter. He was already chosen Tsunade and the elders.
Sure enough, the door opened and there he stood. The attacker.
Me - What do you want?
Guy - I am the replacement.
Me - You? You're the one who attacked Naruto and I yesterday!
Guy - I know. I just wanted to test you.
Me - Okay, then. I hope I passed because you are going to work with Naruto, and I'm gonna lead you. Kakashi is going to help me. I still haven't learned your name, though.
Guy - I am Sai.
He smiled.
Me - Fake smiles, all right. Now, Shikamaru, prepare for the mission and get Naruto. Bring him here when as soon you're ready. Be extremely quick about it. Sai, stay.
Shikamaru left, and I called Kakashi. He showed up immediately.
Kakashi - Who's this guy?
Sai looked at him.
Me - Sai. Sasuke's replacement.
Kakashi - Oh. So when will Shikamaru and Naruto get here?
Me - Soon. I told them to hurry.
Sai - Kakashi.
Kakashi looked back at Sai.
As they talked, I studied Sai. He resembled Sasuke. Very much so, actually. His eyes, expression, dark hair, pale skin, strong build, sense of power. I studied Kakashi, too. I noticed something in his one visible eye that I had never seen before-hate. He looked down at Sai, nodding and occasionally speaking, but not with the happy way he does with everyone else. Shikamaru and Naruto appeared not too long after.
Naruto - HEY!! IT'S YOOOOOU!
He pointed at Sai.
Sai - Me.
He didn't even ask it as a question.
Me - Um, Naruto, meet Sai, Sasuke's replacement. I hope that you guys can get along, because we need to go NOW.
They all nodded their heads in agreement and we sprinted out of Konoha. We went as fast as we could to the Sand village, dashing our asses off. I was a bit tired when we got there, but there was no time to waste. A Kazekage was taken. We have to save him. Plus, he has the one tailed demon in him. Who knows what Akatsuki could do? They're already after Naruto and I. What could happen next?
Shikamaru complained the whole way there.
Me - Shikamaru, you stop your complaining NOW or I swear that I will depromote you back to genin level to learn how exactly real ninja are supposed to act.
I said that last part in a cold hiss of a voice, and it scared pretty much everyone, except for Sai, of course.
Naruto - Setsuai...you have a scary face....
He cowered in fear.
Me - BAKA!!! We have to keep MOVING!
We did, and we finally came across a large bird with an Akatsuki member atop it with Gaara in it's beak.
Me - There!
Kakashi - I can handle this one.
He pulled up his forehead protector. Oh, this was going to be good.
Kakashi ran faster than I had ever seen anyone move, besides Lee, and jumped up to the Akatsuki member. He hit the member once, and they almost fell of the bird.
Akatsuki Member 1 - Deidara! I'm going to finish these ones off. You kill the big hair guy.
Deidara - Got it.
The other member was huge, with a body like a puppet. Naruto, Sai, Shikamaru and I fought him. He was a tricky opponent, and it was not easy to kill him. An elderly woman showed up somewhere along the fight and helped us defeat him. We went after Deidara and Kakashi soon afterwards. Asuma had come sometime along the way of finding them, and he said he knew where the Akatsuki's hide out was. We followed him there, and it took us 3 days. We slept whenever we could, which wasn't very often, and ate the few scraps we had brought along. When we finally got there, it was dark and we had no clue where Kakashi or Deidara was. We went closer to the hide out and saw two big shadows on the already dark ground. I crept up there, and saw that the lumps were Gaara and Kakashi. I tried to heal both of them, but it only worked on Kakashi. Gaara had no reaction whatsoever. Chiyo-baa-sama came over and pushed me aside, and it seemed like she was forcing life into Gaara when she put her hands on him. And she was. She was giving up her life and then giving it to Gaara. Chiyo-baa-sama was smiling when Naruto helped her with the chakra transfer. Her husband had met up with us.
Chiyo - So it's finally come.
Husband guy dude elderly man man - Chiyo?
Chiyo smiled one last time, and her eyes closed slowly as she passed away. Her husband sat by her body, holding her hands.
Husband.... - She's just kidding...you...you guys can go...take Gaara to the village.
We hesitated at first. We didn't want to leave them there.
Husband - Go! Now!
We did. Naruto carried Gaara back to the village, and we brought him to the hospital. I healed him from where he was injured being in the birds beak, and he was fine afterwards. His eyes opened after a short time.
Gaara - Naruto...Setsuai...
Naruto and I went to his bedside.
Gaara - Thank you. Naruto, you showed me...you believed in me. Thank you.
Naruto - No problem.
Gaara - Setsuai...you both healed me.
Me - Chiyo-baa-sama brought you back to life. No need to thank us.
Gaara - I know you helped. I saw you. Thank you very much.
I smiled, and looked at his eyes. They were different. They didn't have the heavy black circles around them anymore.
Me - Gaara! Your eyes...
Gaara - I expect you know about Subaku...right? The Akatsuki took him out of me. So my eyes don't have the rings anymore.
Me - Kosu...we saved you, but failed the mission, still.
Gaara - You can defeat Akatsuki in time.
He told us to leave, and we went straight back to Konoha after. I went into my office, and wrote the report down. It was passed, of course, but I still made a note of how Akatsuki got the jinchuuriki.

Things went along pretty smoothly, until I got a message.

"Orochimaru's whereabouts have been located. Hatake Kakashi is still in healing after the Kazekage Retrieving mission, so someone will temporarily take his place. I've told them the whereabouts of Orochimaru.
-Tsunade."
