the line from the song is what did it for me, i think
probably because it was so true for Naruto
all in all, this was very good, especially with Naruto and his facade, i thought that that comparison being accented like that was a nice touch
in terms of grief, he's very much in character, Naruto wouldn't break down and he wouldn't show it so outwardly, yet when he's alone, he would definitely crumble
Naruto isn't the easiest character to keep in character, in fact i think he's the hardest, so i applaud that you could portray him so nicely
as for Sasuke, though, i think you portrayed him a bit nicer --softer, if you will-- than he would be. His OOC-ness (even if the cause of it was years making him a little nicer and Naruto's memory or it) was the only thing that i didn't really like
(and yes, i am a bit eccentric about OOC-ness, so please don't be too offended, i just felt like i should tell you)
other than that, i can hear your voice in your writing --albeit it could be a tad stronger-- you don't have any structure or spelling errors, and i think that you get your point across to the reader quite nicely
it was a great, heart-touching fic that i really enjoyed reading
