Reviews and Round Robins
Hinotama, I don't care they're "playing nice" now. Rules are rules.The review function IS NOT a forum/chatroom/shoutbox. We have a forum. It can be found at http://forums.narutofic.org/. There is an "author reply" function that authors can use to repond to their reviewers. Use that instead of responding with another review if you want to respond directly to something said.
That out of the way, I dislike flames and flame wars. I believe I've stated this before. If I hadn't I apologise, but I do. On the forums, flame wars are grounds for banning.
I'm giving all flamers on the main site this one warning. From here on out, I see any flames or flamers, and you're out. I don't care about the circumstances. You're out if you flame.
This is a community, and I don't want hatred in this community. We're all friends here, whether you like what someone else has done or not. And being friends does not mean attacking people through reviews OR the body of a story.
Which brings me to the Round Robin part of this little rant. I allow round-robins on the site so that people can have fun and co-write with a dozen other authors. It's not there to be used as a way to attack someone in their own story. As it is, certain stories have been moderated. Heavily. We're deleting reviews AND chapters that don't comply with this. With our attention brought to this story and it's problems, we feel that action needs to be taken.
If we see this sort of thing again, there will be no massive public message, only an email stating why we felt we needed to delete reviews and/or chapters, to both the author hosting the story, and to those instigating any problems.
I don't like having to do this. I prefer that you all have fun and play nice. But I know that doesn't always happen; that's why we have moderators, and administrators. If you're being harrassed, tell us. We will help.

one of the best solutions ever, flame wars are kinda on the sucky side way, i mean really on the sucky side. We are all authours and we all love Naruto in a way, so why can't we all get along??

I find it kind of hard to believe that there are still flaming on a site like this, with so many people who love Naruto. Ah well, people who don't appreciate other people's works don't deserve to be here...period. =

This is an appropriate action. I don't understand why we need to be picking fights with one another. It upsets me that people are acting this way. There's no reason to be flaming at all anyway!!!

This is why I usually create a flaming part of boards... Only to keep the flames from being in other things... It sort of keeps everything in check.. And towards that, I give only one rule: "Flame ANYTHING you want, just don't flame players/users/RL people... And try to not fight back and forth childlike... be intellegent" XD

Ah, yes, thank you ^_^ This is a problem that has really bothered me for a while now. I didn't want to keep up a hatred, I am a pacifist at heart, so I apologized. It was the best I could do because people come to TONFA to have fun. We're getting along now. I hate flames too.

Please accept my sincerest apologies for using "Hi My Name Is....". I had not read this article until after I had posted. The reason I used that is because when i tried to access the forum, my firewall acted up, I called tech support, my comp crashed, my roomie tiraded me. Do NOT want to go through that again.
