I would love to participate, being that once upon a time this was one of my favorite stories. Of course, most of the details in the story have become lost to me, so I will have to reread the story.

Something I don't think I'll have a problem doing. :D

This chapter was one of my favorites so far. It's just so beautiful and tragic, and I was surprised to see the chapter actually end with Naruto stabbing himself instead of just being a cliffhanger. Though it still is . . . and for that reason, I honestly can't wait for you to write the next chapter

The fight scene in Chapter 6 was written brilliantly. You used excellent wording and gorgeous descriptions and I could almost feel the pain that their bodies felt because it was written so realistically.

And one thing I have noted in all of your chapters but especially these past 4, is that you masterfully manipulate body language in this story. Description is the lifeblood of a story and you could probably succeed if you just wrote this story with body language and no verbal dialogue. Not that I'm suggesting it though, because I love the dialogue in this story :3

I love you man, I really do, but I have a few problems with this chapter that were really bugging me through its entirety...

You described Naruto and Sasuke's little fight ferociously. I was almost expecting Naruto to just say "screw you Sasuke!" and move out right then and there. But he just storms out. And for such a lash-out from Sasuke, I was a little surprised when the mood of the story went from unbridled anger to the foofy-lu-lu'ness of Sasuke and Sakra. But thennnn you have Naruto throw a shuriken at Sasuke. Now, I can expect Naruto to regret doing that, because he is a softy. But I just don't find the cutesy ending plausible for what Sasuke said to Naruto. Hell, if I was Naruto, I would've thrown another shuriken at the bastard for ripping my heart out.

But I'm going to just keep my little petpeeves to myself for awhile and let things unfold. Because I respect you and your ability to surprise me with near perfection when I'm in doubt of a story. ;D

Author's Response: Well I really dont know what to say... I guess you have some points, and Im thankful you are being honest. I wanted to set across the instabability of Sasuke, I guess and that was why his moode swings around alot, as for Naruto well he loved Sasuke and in a way he is more able to forgive Sasuke because he knows about the whole Itachi incident. Yeah I know its all crazy but I\'m going to try and describe it better. Im sorry if you didnt like the chapter, Ill try harder next time.

Ha, psychic Itachi made me giggle. Their relationship is interesting and adds to the story, albeit a bit creepy sometimes. :)

Great job on this story. I felt a twinge of sadness and disappointment when I didn't see the button at the bottom of my page to go to the next chapter though. The plot is a terrific idea and it's executed very well. No complaints here about mechanics, even if the chapters were written at 2:30 in the morning ;)

Naruto is pretty in-character in this story because you wrote him as a forgiving person, which is what I imagined him to be in this kind of situation. Now, if only Sasuke would have the balls to apologize to him . . .

Oh, and I have a question for you as an author. Do you enjoy one long in-depth review more than short ones peppered around chapters? I would write a longer one like I try to do, but I have a cast on, and the damn thing keeps hitting the number keys.
