Mello and Matt are walking down the street, with Wammy's House in the background
Night enters the common room at Wammy's House, where Near is playing with his puzzle as usual.
Night: Near? Have you seen Mello?
Near: (looks up at her) Yes, he left a few moments ago after we received the news that L died. He won't be coming back.
Night: !
Near: (working on his puzzle once more) If he had wanted you to come with him, Night, I'm sure that he would have informed you.
Night: !
She runs out of the room.
Roger walks in.
Roger: Near, I believe I should inform Night of the news that Mello has--
Near: She just came by. I think she's going to go stalk him down.
Roger: . . .
Night runs up to Mello and Matt panting.
Mello: ?
Matt(thinking): Isn't this the girl that stalked Mello?
Mello: Night! What do you want?!
Night(panting): I came to help you and Matt on your journey. I want to avenge L, too.
Mello: Yeah right, you just came to be with me.
Night: (blushes)
Mello: We don't need a girl in our way. Right, Matt?
Matt: She could be of some use to us.
Night: Please, I'll do anything for you!
Mello: Go back. You had some of the worst grades, so if you don't go back now, they may not allow you back!
Night: (gets teary-eyed)
Matt: I'm not so sure, she would always write books. . .
Silence.
Mello: I guess I can find some use for you. . .
Night hugs him tightly.
Mello: (blush)
Matt(thinking) : Mello, you lucky bastard. Though, no one else ever seemed to like you. . .
Mello(pushing her off) : Just come on. . .
Two weeks later. . .
Mello, now in a black jacket, points a gun to a woman on the street. He has a crazy smirk on his face.
He takes out a chocolate bar with his right hand and takes a bite out of it.
The woman throws her purse at him and screams.
Mello(thinking) : Joining the mafia wasn't a bad idea.
Night, now in a short black dress, runs up to him and hugs him.
Mello(not phased now) : So, how did it go?
Night reaches into her bra and pulls out a wad of money.
She smiles, blushing.
Mello smirks.
Night: I just distracted the guy. . . Matt took the money. . .
Matt walks up to them, counting money.
Matt: I guess Night already told you that it went well.
Matt(thinking) : That woman. . .
His face blushes a bit.
Matt(thinking) : Just an excuse. . .
Night stuffs the money back into her bra. Mello approaches her and reaches down in there.
Night: ?!
Matt(shuffling his hands in there) : You took ten dollars more. We were supposed to split it fifty fifty.
He pulls out a 10.
Matt: We're even now.
Night(face is red) : Matt. . .
Mello: You two go on to the hotel. I have to go talk to the boss.
Night(grabbing his arm) : Um, are you sure that you don't want me to come?
Mello(agitated) : Yes, I'm sure.
He brushes her off and leaves.
Matt: Oh well, let's go, Night.
Night nods.
They both arrive in a one room hotel room.
Night changes into her gown(which is short and blue) and Matt is in his boxers.
Night(Thinking) : We all have to share this one bed. Boys are so cheap. But, I've never been alone with Matt before. . .
Matt takes out a cigarette and begins to smoke.
Night: Matt, your going to kill yourself!
Matt shrugs.
Matt: I don't really care. . .
Night sticks her tonque out.
There's a long silence.
Matt: I know what your thinking. Your worried about Mello.
Night: A little bit, yeah. . .
Matt: You always get worried about him whenever he goes to talk to the mafia boss. It's so obvious that you like him. Why else would you have followed us?
Night: I-I can't really help it, I just. . . have always loved him.
She gets sparkle eyed.
Night: It was love at first sight!
Matt(thinking) : I got her started. . .great.
Night: He helped me one day in math class. . .he let me cheat off of him. He told me “don't cry and you can copy off of me.” And he's so. . .
Matt: Yeah?
Night: Hot!
Matt looks away sadly.
Night: I think that I'll go check on him. . .
Matt: You know that the boss doesn't like you. . .
Night: I know, I'm just doing to check on Mello.
She leaves.
Matt: . . .
Night enters the mafia base. Blood is on the floor everywhere.
She sees that the blood trail began from the boss's room.
Night(thinking): Mello. . . did the boss. . .?
She opens the door, with her eyes closed tightly.
Voice: Night?
She opens her eyes. Mello is sitting on the boss's bed, eating a chocolate bar. There isn't a body around.
Night: Mello, what--
Mello: Let's just say that I'm the boss now.
Night locks the door behind her.
Night(laying down next to him) : I was worried about you. . .
Mello(thinking as he chews a piece of chocolate) : Night looks so different. . .she took her boots off, and she's just in her night gown. The moonlight is the only thing hitting this room. . .and it's making her glow. . .
Night: Mello?
Mello: Yes?
Night: Can I just sleep with you here?
Mello: Sure. Hey, I need to ask you something, too.
Night: What is it?
Mello: Earlier today, when Matt reached down your shirt. . . did it make you feel. . . weird?
Night nods.
Night: Yeah, it makes me have urges to do stuff.
Mello: Really? That's what happens to me whenever you hug me. . . that's why I used to push you off.
Night(blushing) : I see. . .I read in books why we feel that way. . .
Mello: Yeah, I've read those kinds of books too. . .we're both 15, so. . .it's supposed to be natural. . .
There's a long silence.
Mello suddenly mounts her.
Night: Mello, what are you doing?!
Mello: According to those books, there's stuff we could do while laying in bed at night. And your really the only girl I care for. . . .
Night blushes again.
Mello begins to work his hands under her gown, feeling her.
Night slides her hands under his shirt and rubs his back.
Mello fingers her.
She cringes.
He takes his hand out and then puts both hands up her gown and feels her breasts, kneading them.
Night blushes more.
Mello(honestly shocked) : They're soft. . .
Mello blushes.
He continues.
Night closes her eyes.
Mello stops.
Night: ?
Mello: Your a girl, and girls are supposed to have “standards”, so will you tell me if I'm big enough?

Night lays down.

He takes unzips his pants and penetrates her.

He pulls her off to where she's facing him.
He kisses her.
She falls back slowly, and begins to feel his body all over again.
He kneads her breasts again, and takes off his shirt. She takes off her gown to where now she's completely naked.
Mello's face turns red. He gets out of her long enough to take off his pants.
Night: M-Mello, we're both. . . . . .
Mello: Naked, yeah. We're supposed to be when we do this. . .
Night: Oh.
Mello runs his hands all over her body and then pulls her up and squeezes her butt.
Night gasps.
Night: !
Mello snickers.
Mello: Sorry, I couldn't resist.
He penetrates her again while they're still sitting up.
Night cringes.
