Meanwhile in the back Kiba was talking to Gaara while they were doing work on the board. Shikamaru was sleeping in the back and overheard the conversation but didn’t want to tell anyone because it would be “troublesome”.
“…so are you going out with Tenten?” he asked
“Yeah, she’s really nice.” he replied
Kiba said “Lee’s having a party at his house while his parents are on vacation it’s gonna be huge you should come, and bring your sister Temari and your brother Kankuro with you, they are so cool.”
“Okay, I’ll be sure to tell them. By the way did you break up with Hinata?” he asked
“Not really, why?” he responded
“Because I heard that some guy named Sasuke is going out with her now.” Gaara answered
“What!? Why would he do that after he tried to help me? I bet he's doing this on purpose just to get back at me.” he yelled
After class Kiba approached Sasuke and Hinata.
“Are you going out with Hinata?” he yelled
Sasuke taunted “So what if I am? Are you gonna go cry about it?”
Kiba pushed him up against the locker and attempted to punch him in the stomach. Sasuke punched him in the face making him bleed. People start accumulating trying to see what’s going on.
“Sasuke stop you’re hurting him!” she yelled
He ignored her and kept punching him. Kiba punched Sasuke in the ribs causing him to fall to the ground and them he drop kicked him repeatedly. Hinata rushed to Sasuke’s side attempting stopping the fight only to be pushed aside by Sasuke.
“You’re so stupid Sasuke, I hate you!” Kiba yelled
“Fine with me, I never liked you it’s sad that it took so long for you to figure that out. I didn’t need your permission to go out with her.” Sasuke countered
He got off the floor and hit Kiba in the face then kicked him. Kakashi rushed in before they could do anymore damage grabbing Sasuke by the collar.
“That’s enough!” he said sternly
Tsunade the principal came to the scene totally confused.
“Kiba and Sasuke, my office now! And Hinata why don’t you come along, I have a feeling this has something to do with you.” she yelled
“So,” she said as she sat down at her desk, “tell me how it started.”
Kiba said “Me and Hinata got in this stupid fight…”
“It wasn’t stupid,” Hinata interrupted, “You cheated on me, it's over. The only stupid fight was this one.”
“Maybe if you knew how to treat girls better Hinata wouldn’t have left you.” interjected Sasuke
“Shut up, both of you. By the way nice uppercut Sasuke. Back to what we were saying my advice: Kiba move on and grow up, Sasuke cut the muttered insults and Hinata try not to cause problems. Kiba and Sasuke you have two weeks of detention now go to the nurse, get back to class, and don’t waste my life with your silly relationships.” replied Tsunade
They all walked out of Tsunade’s office very confused about what happened. Everyone started staring and whispering remarks about the fight that had just taken place in the hallway recently.
“Sasuke, you should go to the nurse you’re bleeding.” said Hinata concerned
“I’m fine.” he replied wiping off the blood on his face
she said “Good, now I can yell at you. Why did you do that? You could have got seriously injured. Don’t scare me that, I don’t want Kiba to hurt you. He may be a jerk but he could put anyone in the hospital.”
Hinata walked Sasuke to the nurse.
Shizune said “You must be the legendary Sasuke Uchiha that got in the fight with Kiba.”
“Yeah, it’s no big deal.” he replied
“You sure know how to pick your fights. You almost broke your ribs. All you have is a bloody nose and you just need to ice your face so it doesn’t swell up.” she said handing him an ice pack
Hinata and Sasuke walk into science really late without a pass. Kakashi had already started the lesson and everyone was working. Kakashi actually had a new book; this one was green but kept him as equally interested as the other one.
“How nice of you two to join the rest of the class.” Kakashi said pulling out two worksheets
When Sasuke moved to the back Kakashi had apparently switched the seats and he had to sit next to Shikamaru. It wasn’t so bad, he was smart and knew all the answers to Kakashi’s questions and he slept all the time. He drew attention away from Sasuke with his snoring, which was a good thing.
“My nose is killing me, Kiba hits really hard. I thought Hinata had broke up with him. Then again he is hard-headed and messages don’t reach his brain that fast. Who told him that we were going out?” thought Sasuke
After class Sasuke still walked with Hinata to lunch but now Kiba doesn’t run up to him.
