Next Hinata had cooking class with Chouji.
“Chouji, what is this machine called?” she asked
“Hinata,” he sighed, “that’s an oven. You know, what we’ve been cooking with for an entire month.”
“Sorry, I’m not exactly a pro at cooking.” she answered
“I never would have guessed.” he replied sarcastically
Chouji continued to assist Hinata in cooking class even though she still didn’t understand it. Hinata kept cleaning up after class was over. She scrubbed the pots that burned on the stove and scrapped the leftover cake from the pan.
“You know you can leave now.” said Jiraiya
“Yeah, but I feel bad, I messed up my group’s cake. I’m so terrible at this.” she replied
“Yeah, you are. But that’s okay, you’ll get better.” he responded
“Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind.” Hinata said laughing
After school Hinata walked home leisurely. When she got home she forgot that she was grounded.
“You weren’t with Sasuke were you?” Hiashi asked
“No, I had to stay after and clean up the cooking room,” she answered, “I’m going up to my room.”
All of the sudden Hanabi jumped out from her room.
“You clean up? Yeah right, you were probably at Sasuke’s house kissing!” yelled Hanabi scornfully
Hinata just walked away withdrawing to her room and ignoring Hanabi’s taunts. After Sasuke revealed his true feelings for her she didn’t care what anyone said, including her sister. Hiashi didn’t make a big deal because she acted like she made a mistake, next time she won’t get caught.
