The Beginning
"Are you okay?" spoke a sweet and innocent voice.
"I`m okay," he said back as he tried to stand up, but failed, his arms, they needed to be healed, "Where is Kabuto?"
She smirked, "Oh, the man with the silver hair and glasses? I don`t know."
He coughed as she helped him sit up, "Who are you?" he asked the young woman with the long brown hair and ponytail to the side.
"That is not important, what is important is that we get you healed," she whispered, her large golden eyes so soft, so sweet, he couldn`t help but trust her.
"Okay," he whispered, before closing his eyes and falling asleep.
For the next few months she nursed him back to health, devoting all her time to him, forgetting about the consequences of helping this man, Orochimaru if she was correct. Iruka and Kakashi had warned her about all the ninjas she should avoid, but this girl, she had always been interested in Orochimaru, and Iruka had noticed this. She never had any interest in the other boys of the village, her time went into learning about the man and training. All her friends, Naruto, Sasuke, Neji, Lee, Temari, Gaara, and Jessica had become worried about her sudden interest, it wasn`t normal, she was obsessed with the man and now, her dream, to meet him, it was coming true.
She cupped her hands around his pale face, "Are you alright now?" she whispered lovingly.
He couldn`t help but smile, "Yes, I am," he said, standing up, "And you never did tell me your name, I should know it after all you`ve done for me."
She nodded, "Nikki, my name is Nikki."
He smiled, "My name is ----"he was soon cut off, "Orochimaru." she stated, no hesistation, even though she was talking to a man, that if she made angry could easily take her life.
He stared into her eyes for a long time, "How did you know?"
"I know everything about you, you, Orochimaru, are my hero," she said, grabbing onto his hand, showing no hesitation.
He stared at her more, this girl was different, he gave her nothing, he barely knew her, yet she took care of him and called him her hero. She saw this confusion, "I come from the Hidden Leaf Village, my senseis, Kakashi and Iruka had warned me about you, yet I become intruiged, you weren`t like Itachi or any of the other rogue ninjas, you were different, a lot like me." she said, explaining little.
He nodded, "Well, would you like to come with me? I seem to need a new assistant, Kabuto has seemed to disappear."
She smirked, "I`d like that more then anything." With that, they headed off towards the Sound Village, for training, and other things.
