Team 7 were enjoying another day at the Ichiraku Ramen stall.

"Please, I mean, don't you think that's a rather silly thing to do?" Sakura asked an enthusiastic Naruto.

"It's just gonna be a teeny weeny glance," Naruto said softly.

"We've been trying take a glimpse of him since we were like 12. It's dejavu. We will never get it off," Sasuke murmmered.

"True." Naruto mumbled.

Sakura smiled at her two teammates. They've been through so much over the years. From the point where they were grouped, to the times where they protected Naruto from the Akatsuki and before she knew it, they were 18, and jonin, along with their life-long friends, the rest of the rookie 9.

"But. We've known Kakashi Sensei for 7 years, can't he just let us have a glance?" Sakura moaned.

"Maybe he's really got some form of disgusting growths on his face." Naruto joked.

"Like a baka, you never change." Sakura knocked Naruto's head. Sasuke laughed a little.

"Naruto will always be the boy you knew since you were 10, Sakura." Naruto said.

"How tragic," Sakura joked.

"Hey, you guys were having ramen and didn't tell me?" Kakashi asked jokingly, taking a seat beside Sakura.

"Kakashi-sensei!" Sakura smiled. "We couldn't find you," Sasuke said.

"Oh really?" Kakashi asked.

"Yeah, and even if we told you, we would have finished our ramen an hour before you arrived," Sakura replied.

"Some things really never change, do they?" Kakashi said.

"We were just talking about that." Naruto said, ordering another bowl of ramen.

"You guys are paying the bill, right." Kakashi laughed.

"Yeah, we're treating you to a bowl of ramen!" Naruto said.

"Very nice. Wait. This isn't one of your plans to make me take off my mask, is it? Cause I'm very familiar with it." Kakashi asked suspiciously

Sweat drops.

"No, Kakashi. It's just to celebrate erm.. 7 years of... sensei-to-student-companionship!" Sakura smiled.

"Ho, really?" Kakashi asked.

The three nodded.

Sakura took out a chopstick and gave it to her sensei.

"YOu three sure know how to enjoy life to it's fullest." Kakashi said.

"OF course we do. The war is over, people are happy. Tsunade Sama hasn't sent us on missions. It's the perfect time to be slacking." Naruto said happily.

The man put the ramen down in front of Kakashi. "Enjoy your ramen,"

Kakashi took the chopsticks and started to take off his mask.

The three looked suspiciously at him from the corner of their eyes.

"Sakura, you're blocking me!" Naruto complained softly. "Live with it!" She said, teeth gritted.

"Naruto, YOU'RE blocking me!!" Sasuke started. "Oh don't you start!" Sakura turned to Sasuke.

"Stop blocking me!" Naruto said.

"You're the one blocking me!" Sasuke said pushing Naruto down. "I meant Sakura!" Naruto pushed Sasuke back.

"Will you two shutup!" Sakura growled.

Sasuke gave Naruto a big push, and as Kakashi nearly took off his mask, Naruto accidently banged against Sakura's back, causing her to fall forward.

Sakura blocked herself from an impact with her arms, landing on her knees.

But there still was impact, and her face fell onto Kakashi's!

Naruto and Sasuke went 100% white in the face, with a shocked expression!

"Oh MY GOD!" Naruto and Sasuke said in unison.

Sakura's eyes went wide as she noticed she had just kissed her sensei!!

Kakashi looked rather shocked, and quickly pulled up his mask from his chin.

"Sensei! I'm sorry!" Sakura stood up slowly, pulling her sensei up.

Sakura turned to the two boys, who were paralysed with white faces and shocked expressions, starring at she and Kakashi.

"What's the matter with you two?" She asked, blushing.

"Sensei! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to-"

"I'm sure you didn't.. Be careful next time, goodbye!" Kakashi said, dissapearing in a puff of smoke.

Sakura turned back at the two still paralysed boys. She blushed even harder and ran off quickly.

Naruto and Sasuke went back to normal mode. "Did Sakura just do 'that' to sensei?" Naruto asked.

Sasuke gulped. "Please tell me that was a genjutsu."

"I didn't kiss him did i?" Sakura asked herself running through the town.

I didn't kiss him! I fell onto him, on his face.. without the mask.. OMG WITHOUT THE MASK! Inner Sakura kept speaking.

"Stop it!!" Sakura moaned.

"He wasn't wearing his mask? Oh, god. He wasn't wearing his mask. I saw his face. I remember it clearly. He's so cute- I mean Oh GOD! I kissed my sensei! I wasn't supposed to!... NARUTO...." Sakura concluded.

Sakura marched off in the direction of Naruto.

Naruto had Sasuke in his room for a little guy talk. Everything was fun, playing video games, until a push of the window broke the fun.

"UZUMAKI NARUTO!" Sakura shouted in her angry voice, she grabbed Naruto from his collar. "This is all your fault!" She shouted.

"Sorry, Sakura! I didn't mean to push you. Anyway. did you see his face?" naruto asked.

A big punch across Naruto's face, sending him flying across the ground.

Sasuke stood up. "Sakura, relax, it's not his fault! I pushed him!" Sasuke admitted. "So it was your fault!" Sakura launched her fist at Sasuke.

Naruto ran and grabbed Sakura's fist. "We're really sorry," Naruto said, using his other palm to rub his bruised cheek.

"Have you no idea how embarrassed i was? Just because you were blocked you didn't have to start a fight!" Sakura shouted.

"it wasn't intentional. YOu have got to calm down. He must have been handsome huh?" Naruto said softly.

"Oh yea, he was cute but that doesn't SOLVE ANYTHING!"

"Okay okay, if you relax, we'd treat you to any food you want." Sasuke bargained.

"Carry my stuff," Sakura added.

"Wh- what?" Naruto asked.

"Carry my stuff..." Sakura repeated. "I have medical classes to attend you know. Many things to carry. So carry my stuff and I'd forgive you guys," She added. Naruto and Sasuke starred at each other. "I'm waiting," Sakura said, tightening her fists.

"Deal! deal!" Naruto and Sasuke said together.

"You KISSED Sakura?" Asuma asked before lighting another cigarette.

"She KISSED me, and I'm sure it was purely an accident," Kakashi said, drinking down a can of beer. "Nobody has ever seen your face since 10 years ago, besides me and Kurenai of course." Asuma said, taking a drink out of the fridge.

Kakashi didn't know a better person to tell the case to than Asuma. Asuma has always been good with keeping secrets, unlike his 'eternal' rival, Maito Gai.

"Sakura must be one lucky girl," Asuma chuckled. "There's nothing lucky about this, Asuma. She's my student. I mean, I dunno, it's wierd. and I can't stop thinking about it!" Kakashi said angrily.

"Calm down, man. You said it was an accident, then forget about it." Asuma said.

"I don't know. I know it was an accident, but there's some feeling inside of me. I've known her for a long time, and I've been looking after she and her comrades for a long 7 years. I don't know.. I may have developed feelings for her." Kakashi admitted.

"You shouldn't drink too much." asuma said.

"No, I'm not drunk. I'm serious." Kakashi said.

"It was only a kiss, but there's something, funny about it." Kakashi said slowly.

"Come on, hurry up!" Sakura complained to Naruto who was carrying all her medical stuff. "Man you've got so many things!!" Naruto moaned. "You have no idea," Sakura said rudely. "And why does Sasuke get to do nothing at all?" Naruto asked, pointing to the Uchiha boy.

"It must be because he's not a complete idiot like you are." Sakura joked. "And he doesn't get to do nothing. He'd be my 1st personal assistant, meaning he'd have to arrange all my appointments and stuff. It's like superstar treatment." Sakura added.

"You are a cruel woman." Sasuke said, sweatdrop down his head. Sakura's eyes curved up in a anime smile style. "I learn alot from 'granny' Tsunade." Sakura said. "She gained strength, beauty & a cruel heart of stone from granny Tsunade," Naruto said to Sasuke.

"Sorry, Naruto, did you say something?" Sakura turned around with a cold hard stare. "Erm.. no.. nothing.. nothing at all," Naruto replied.

Sakura turned back and blushed. Not because of the fact Naruto said she was beautiful, but because of that kiss she had given Kakashi. She gave him her first kiss! And he was so cu- wait. She had to stop thinking like that. He's her sensei, not her future boyfriend.

Sakura sighed. Kakashi walked out of the Hokage's building, face in his book. Sakura, who was looking down, didn't notice Kakashi just walked out.

Bang~!!

Kakashi & Sakura bumped against each other. Kakashi's book went flying, which smacked on Naruto's face, causing him to fall down. Poooor Naruto... "Ouch, What's the big idea-omg." Naruto said, removing the book from his face. Sasuke pulled Naruto from the ground.

Kakashi and Sakura starred at each other, blushing. Neither of them got up. They just looked at each other. Kakashi finally decided to speak. "I wasn't looking where I was going. My bad." He said quickly, pulling Sakura from the ground.

"I guess I've gotta watch where I'm going as well," Sakura said. Kakashi smiled. "Shouldn't you be going to class? Tsunade's waiting for you. And why is Naruto and Sasuke carrying your stuff?" Kakashi asked. "They owe me big." Sakura replied. "And what for?"

"Because they pushed me and made me kiss y- I MEAN, THEY ACCIDENTLY PUSHED ME AND MADE ME KISS THE WALL YEAYEA!!" Sakura replied quickly. Sweat drops form on Kakashi, Naruto and Sasuke's heads.

"That sounds stupid.." Naruto said. Sasuke nudged him.

"Well. You guys better get going. And Sakura, I'm not sure if you will survive going into the Hokage's building..." Kakashi warned.

"What?"

"Erm, Nothing," Kakashi smiled and walked away from the 3 jonin. "That was weird," Sakura said softly to herself. "That bump was like a fate thing," Naruto joked. Sakura pulled his collar. "What did you say?" "Nothing," Naruto replied.

The three jonin walked into the building, heading for Tsunade's office. Sakura noticed many other aspiring young medics younger than she was, looking at her and saying, "I can't believe she's so lucky..."

2 medics her age walked past Sakura. "She is so lucky. I bet many other girls would kill to have him," One of them said. "I bet a MILLION girls would kill," The other one said. Sakura turned to Sasuke, who was whistling. She looked at Naruto. "What did you do..." She murmmered.

"Nothing, honest!" Naruto smiled. Just then, a girl looking slightly younger than Sakura walked to Naruto. "Naruto-kun, thanks for the news. You don't mind if I add it to the new magazine, do you?" She asked. Naruto turned to Sakura, whose blood was boiling to the brim.

"erm... it's a personal matter.. please leave it out.." Naruto said. The girl nodded and ran off.

Naruto looked at the angry Sakura.

"NARUTO UZUMAKI!! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!!"

Sakura lay on her bed, looking at the ceiling. Why can't she stop thinking about that mistaken kiss? She didn't feel angry about it, she didn't feel mad about it. She felt embarrassed, but something about that kiss was special to her. She sighed and turned to her bedside table with the picture of Team 7. She placed her finger on Kakakashi's face in the picture. Flashbacks come into her mind from long ago.

The many times that Kakashi saved her life. Were they because he was their 'guardian', or was there something more to it? Sakura frowned and turned away from the picture. There was a knock on the door.

Sakura stood up and ran to open the door. "What do you want..." She asked. "Erm, cake?" Naruto replied. "You expect me to give you a cake after all that you have done!?" She asked coldly. Naruto shook his head and took out acircle shaped box. "Cake for you, as an apology. I spend the whole afternoon making that.." Naruto said.

"Well.. Thanks. I guess." Sakura said, taking the cake from Naruto. "I will keep my mouth shut about the whole thing from now on, promise." Naruto swore. "I swear on my life." He said.

Sakura smiled. "Thank you very much, Uzumaki Naruto." She said before closing the door. She placed the cake on the dining table. She opened up the box to see a very nicely decorated strawberry cake. She sank her right index finger into the cranberry cream on the cake and tasted it.

"Wow." She spilt out. Another knock on the door. She ran to it to open the door. "The cake was really nice thank y- SENSEI!" Sakura jumped in shock.

"Sorry for disturbing you, was I?" Kakashi asked. "Nono, but what are you doing in here?" Sakura asked, blushing. "Naruto told me that you made a cake for me," Kakashi said, a sweat drop down his head.

"What? Wait a second-" Sakura looked at the cake's icing: "Long live Kakashi + Sakura. (you've just been PUNK'D!!)" She said the line. Her blood was just about to burst. She headed for the door. "Wait, where are you going?" Kakashi asked, following her. "To give Naruto a punch in his whisker face," She replied.

"Look Look, relax, okay?" Kakashi grabbed Sakura's arm. "Some things don't change, in this case, Naruto." Kakashi said, looking at a blushing Sakura. Sakura gulped and turned away. "First, he pushed me, then he tells everyone, then he pretends to make a cake for me. I can't take it anymore!" Sakura shouted.

She threw her anger into the wall next to her, resulting in the wall cracking. "Relax. You nearly broke the wall." Kakashi traced his finger along the crack line.

"I would have broke through the whole thing if I didn't control myself." Sakura said, folding her arms and turning away from the crack. She turned back and noticed Kakashi looking at her and blushing. "Erm.. why are you looking at me?" She asked, blushing.

Kakashi blushed harder. "Nothing." He said. She was only less than a feet towards him. Sakura slightly closed her eyes, She took a step closer to him in the moment of silence. She felt so protected whenever she was with him. But there was always another different feeling. Especially when she accidently kissed him.

Kakashi looked at Sakura, whom looked up the silver haired jonin. Kakashi slowly placed his hands on her hair while Sakura put her hand on his left arm. She couldn't stop looking at the strangely shaped tatoo. Sakura closed her eyes while feeling his gentle fingers stroke through her hair, stroking down to her chin.

She's grown so much, Kakashi thought to himself. A few years ago she was 2 heads shorter than he was, and through the 7 years, she had become taller, but was still shorter than he was.

"Kakashi- Sensei," Sakura called. "What's the tatoo on your hand for?" She asked, noticing another tatoo on his left hand. "For me to know, for you to never find out," He said jokingly, letting go of Sakura. "You've really grown through these years." He said.

Sakura smiled slightly. Why didnd't he want to tell her what that tatoo was? Kakashi walked off, turned around and smiled at the pink haired jonin, before walking again.

Sakura sighed, then as she started to run to him, she felt something on her hair. She stopped and felt it. She quickly ran to her apartment and ran to the mirror.

Kakashi had put a cherry blossom ornament clip neatly and nicely on her hair. Sakura couldn't help but smile widely and blush. She took out the clip from her hair. "He likes me?" She concluded, not taking her eyes off the clip. Suddenly she didn't feel embarrassed that she may have been the only one between the two of them to feel special about that kiss.

Sakura placed the clip on her bedside table in front of the team 7 picture. She smiled at Kakashi's picture, then her eyes scrolled to Naruto's face in the picture. She smiled slyly. "Naruto, you're about to get punk'd..." She said, looking at another picture of she and... INO.

Sakura laughed to herself and turned off the lamp.

Sakura woke up the next day, more energetic than the previous night. The previous night, she said to herself. Kakashi. The hairclip. Sakura turned to her bedside table and put on the hairclip. It suited her since her name meant Cherry blossom.

Sakura tied her long hair in a ponytail, put on the konoha forehead protected on top of her head and changed into her ninja outfit. Sakura walked out of the door and locked it. She remembered what she was supposed to do today. sweet revenge.

Sakura stepped out of the house and ran to the only place Naruto could possibly be, Ichiraku ramen. She had invited Ino for a meal there, where she would do the exact same thing Naruto had done to her 2 days before.

Sakura rushed down the stairs to meet her friend. "What took you so long?" Ino Yamanaka's voice sank into Sakura. "I was preparing breakfast," Sakura lied. Ino looked blunty at Sakura. "Where did you get that hairpin?" Ino asked. "Oh erm.. my mum.. bought it for me," She lied again.

"It suits you." Ino commented. "Thanks." Sakura said. "You know I heard about the Kakashi incident." Ino started another subject. "That was purely an accident," Sakura said, blushing. "Come on. I'm sure even if it was, he must have been hot under that mask huh?" Ino nudged her. Sakura turned away. "He's typical," She protested. "Yeah right." Ino laughed.

"Fine. He was pretty hot." Sakura admitted. "Do you want to kiss him again?" Ino asked. "OF COURSE NOT!" Sakura said quickly. Ino couldn't help but laugh. "You know, almost every single girl in this village would kill to at least get a glimpse of his face. You got to see his face & KISS him!" Ino nudged Sakura.

"It wasn't a big deal!" Sakura said.
"It so IS a big deal." Ino laughed.

The girls reached the Ichiraku ramen bar. Naruto and Sasuke were there as usual. Sakura stood behind and in between the two boys. "Hello. GUYS!" Sakura placed her hands on both of their chairs. The two boys slowly turned around, eyes in a schocked anime style.

"Oh my, look at the time!" Sasuke said. "Isn't it time for training?" Naruto said in a lame excuse voice. The two try to take off, only to be grabbed on the collar by the strong pink haired jonin.

"Not so fast, I just want to treat you two to another bowl of ramen! After all, I should control my temper right?" Sakura said, pulling the boys back to their seats. "Ino's here to join us as well," Sakura added, taking a seat away from Naruto. "Sit down Ino," Sakura pointed to the empty seat next to Naruto. Ino smiled and sat down on the chair.

Sakura smiled to herself. Everything was going according to plan.

"Thanks, Sakura," The boys said. "No prob," She grinned. Sakura started her plan.

"Hey!" She called. The three other ninja turned to Sakura. "Is Tsunade Sama stripping herself in the window without closing the curtain?" Sakura asked, pointing to the hokage window.

"I can't see it since Naruto's BLOCKING ME!" Sasuke said. "Shutup!" Naruto pushed Sasuke. Sakura laughed to herself softly.

Before she knew it, Sasuke pushed Naruto, and...

the scene scrolls up to all the trees with the birds flying happily and then.... "NARUTO@)!&@#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" sending the birds flying away.

Sakura couldn't help but keep laughing as she walked back to her apartment. She was about to die of laughter. People starred at her tihnking she was drinking.

Sakura walked up the stairs, giggling. Naruto was suffering from Ino's torture. The more Sakura thought about it the harder she laughed.

BUMP!

Sakura held onto the staircase reilings. "Ohmygosh, Sensei!" Sakura blushed. "It's erm. Okay. You were drinking?" He asked suspiciously. "Nono! I don't drink. It's just erm.. I got my erm... i Mean,.... Naruto kissed Ino by accident." She explained. Kakashi smiled.

"Anyway, I really like the clip you gave me last night, it's very nice.. suits me a lot." Sakura said. "No problem. Just a sensei-to-student-companionship-gift." Kakashi said, blushing. "Well, I'd get going back to my room now.." Sakura said. Kakashi nodded.

Sakura couldn't help but look at the tatoo on Kakashi's hands. She felt warmth all of a sudden. She looked up at Kakashi. He placed his fingers on her hair, tucking a little of it behind her ears, then tapped on the clip. "Don't loose it, okay?" He said. Sakura nodded.

He walked out of the place. Sakura sighed and walked up the stairs. She had noticed some funny sound coming from her shoes. She decided to ignore it until she had reached her apartment.

Sakura sank into her bed. She laughed to herself thinking of the Naruto and Ino case. Sakura remembered to check her shoes. She took off her shoes and turned them to the sole. There was a picture stuck on it. Sakura pulled it out of the shoe. "Great. I stepped on gum. No wonder I had a hard time walking back," She thought to herself.

"wait a second." Sakura held up the picture. There was a girl who lay on the soft grass along the garden. Sakura couldn't help but marvel at the girl's beautiful appearance. Her hair was the exact colour of a deadly red rose. Sakura marveled more at the fact that the girl's eyes were gold in colour. She had never seen anyone whose eyes were gold, maybe a dark yellow, but never gold.

As Sakura's eyes traced the picture, she noticed the girl was looking at the trees, and she noticed Kakashi sat in one of the branches, waving at her, smiling. "Who's that girl?" Sakura mummbled. Sakura could tell that Kakashi was in the ANBU during then, since he had the strangely shaped tatoo on his left arm. The other tatoo on his hand wasn't there. Sakura felt confused, especially when she caught sight of a clip pinned on the girl's hair. The exact same pin that Sakura had put on.

Sakura turned the picture around where there was a big drop of dried blood on it. "What is Kakashi hiding...I really don't know about his past at all.." Sakura said to hersself. An idea sank into Sakura's head. She suddenly had the urge to find out: 1. where Kakashi's tatoo on his hand came from. 2. who that girl was. 3. why kakashi had given her a clip that girl was wearing.

1 good thing about this apartment was that Sakura knew many people who lived there, Kakashi stayed a few units away from her's. Naruto was 2 floors down while Sasuke lived on the ground floor.

Sakura used a jutsu that teleported her into Kakashi's apartment. Sakura looked around his apartment. Despite being a guy, he kept his place neatly. Sakura opened a drawer and fell over anime style. Wrong drawer. That drawer contained Kakashi's boxers.

"So he wears boxers," She laughed to herself after getting up. "WAIT! I can't believe I just said that!" She knocked her head lightly. She walked around the room. She felt herself trip over something. She got up, rubbing her head. A sweat dropped down her head as she notices an Icha Icha paradise book on the ground. She kicked it under the bed.

"I need to find more pictures..." She said to herself, walking to the table, she checked around all the files. He had a heap of them.

Sakura felt like fainting after surfing through his stack of files for hours. The moon had surfaced in the sky. Sakura got fraustrated when all she found was torn papers. She threw a file across the room. It knocked on the wall, and a book slipped out of one of it's pockets. Sakura ran to the book. She held it up. It was a plain looking book, black leather cover without any patterns. Sakura flipped through it. There weren't anymore pages.

She got fraustrated. Then she noticed that she had found torn pages and a book without any pages. She ran to the torn papers and connected them into the book. She then noticed most of the pages were blank. There was a single piece of paper with scruffy writing written on it. She knew immediately that it was Kakashi's handwriting. Her heart raced as she read the words. The paper seemed old. This was Kakashi's diary!

in scruffy and broken handwriting it read: "I couldn't save her... i promised i would.. i failed. she's gone. she's gone. she'd never be back. I promised i wouldn't let anything happen to her..."

Kakashi stumbled across the town, taking small but heavy steps. He had drank a little too much. He knew that drowning his sorrows in beer wouldn't help but he just had to this time. He slumped himself against a wall nearby. He slowly sat down, forehead resting on his palm. "I'm such an idiot.." He said to himself.

He starred at the sky. He could feel a single tear drop from his right eye. "I won't repeat that mistake again..." He said softly to himself, before slowly standing on his feet and taking the stairs up to his apartment.

He placed the key into the keyhole when he noticed rummaging noises coming from inside his room. He quickly opened the door and grabbed his kunai. He dropped it on the ground as soon as he saw Sakura.

Sakura turned around in shock. "Sensei!" She said suprised, hiding the book behind her back. "Sakura? Why are you in here and what exactly are you doing?" He asked calmly. Sakura could tell by the look in his eye that he was drunk. Kakashi fell on his knees.

"SENSEI!" Sakura ran to stabalise Kakashi. "Are you okay?" She asked as he stood up. He headed for his bed in small steps. "I'm perfectly alright.. I only had 5 heinkens.." He said, like as if beer caused him happiness.

"5 HEINEKENS??!!!?" Sakura shrieked. "Yeah.. and about 7 tigers.." He added. A sweatdrop dripped down her head. Sakura ran to him. "You had heinkens and Tigers?" She asked. "Yeah, you know the beer?" Kakashi said. "Of COURSE I know the beer!" She said, grabbing him by his arm.

"You're NOT alright!" She said. "I'm fine." Kakashi said. He slipped out of Sakura's grip and landed on the ground.

He had a last few seconds of conciousness as he saw Sakura look at him in shock and shouted his name.

He closed his eyes.

Sakura had spent the whole night while Kakashi passed out to clean up the mess she had caused. She looked at her sensei whom slept peacefully in his bed. She couldn't find any pictures in his room. And since she found a picture after she bumped into him the other pictures must be somewhere in his jonin vest.

She searched the pockets of the vest and finally pulled out a few more pictures. "Bingo," She said to herself. The first picture was the girl piggybacked on Kakashi. The clip was on her hair as well. Could it be that Kakashi was referring to her in his diary entry? She took the other picture. It was of Kakashi in the ANBU with his squad.

She looked at Kakashi, whom was sound asleep. She felt like looking at his face again. She slowly reached in for his mask. She felt a weak hand grasp on her hand.

Kakashi groaned. She quickly removed her hand from him and packed the pictures back into the vest. "Kakashi-sensei, are you alright?" She asked. Kakashi slowly opened his eyes. "WAIT!!" Sakura shouted, she placed her finger gently on his left eye. "Close that eye," She warned. Kakashi opened his right eye and got up from his bed. He rubbed his head. "Are you alright? Sensei?" Sakura asked. "I'm..fine.. what happened? Why are you in my room?" He asked.

"YOu passed out... and erm.. the reason why I was in your room was because I thought that a burglar was in here.." She lied. "Sakura, you're a bad liar," Kakashi joked. Sakura couldn't help but smile. "Okay...fine. I wanted to find answers to who this girl is." She said, taking out the picture and placing it in his hand.

Kakashi's mood deepened.

"Nobody," He said, putting the picture inside the drawer next to him. "Why won't you tell me?" She asked. "It's personal." He replied coldly.

"Why are you being so cold?" She asked.
"I'm not being cold." He said.
"Yes you are. She's obviously somebody." Sakura placed her hand on his arm.

Kakashi kept quiet without looking at her. "We'd talk about this later. I have to meet Tsunade-sama," He said quickly, grabbing his jonin vest. He wore his konoha head band, slipping it down on his sharingan eye.

He walked out of the room. Sakura ran out. "Don't you have to lock it?" She asked. Without replying, he threw the keys at her. She caught it and quickly locked the door. She ran to him.

"Stop being an asshole," She said. Kakashi sighed. Sakura pulled his shirt in a manner that made him face her. "Stop being an ass," She said. Kakashi smiled at her slowly. She couldn't help but smile as well. Kakashi looked around, noticing nobody was around. He slowly pulled down his mask.

"this was what you were trying to do while I was sleeping.." He said. Sakura blushed. "I know you're just being concerned about me. But there are some things in my past you shouldn't find out. It's rude." He said. He placed his gentle fingers on her cheek, down to her chin. She looked up at him. He's so cute. She thought to herself.

Kakashi planted a soft kiss on her cheek, before pulling up his mask and walking away. Sakura placed her hand on her cheek and blushed. Before she could chase him, she stopped in her tracks.

"He kissed me.." She said softly. She looked in her hand where his keys were. There wasn't anything in the room. She decided to take it with her. She had to see if he was really going to see Tsunade sama.

Sakura crept behind Kakashi slowly, as he walked through the forest. 'What an idiotic liar. He's a worse liar than me!" She said to herself, noticing they were already in the woods. Kakashi jumped onto the tree. It looked strangely familiar. It was the exact tree in the picture. Sakura stood behind the bushes.

"What exactly is he doing...?" She asked herself. Just then, Kakashi dissapeared. A sweat droped down her head.

"Nothing." He said. Sakura screamed in anime style. She turned around to see Kakashi looking directly at her. "Why do you keep spying on me?" He asked. Sakura blushed. "It's good for the training of ninja?"

Sakura tried backing away, only to bump against the tree behind her. She tried not to blush at the closeness of the two of them.

"Why won't you tell me about that girl, and that tatoo on your hand?" She asked.

"First of all, this tatoo is a scar. like the one i have on my left eye. Second of all, she's nobody, i told you before." He said coldly.

"You're being cold again." Sakura sighed. "I am not being cold.." Kakashi protested. "Yes you are..." Sakura said.

Kakashi smiled. "You admitted it."

Sakura frowned and looked away. Kakashi felt a pang of guilt. He knew she doesn't take jokes. "Hey.. don't take it to the heart." He said.

"Who said I was taking it to the heart?" Sakura laughed and pushed him. Kakashi fell into the water. Sakura couldn't help but laugh.

"HAHA! How is the water, sensei?" Sakura asked. No reply.

"Sensei??"

No reply.

Sakura got worried. Just then a hand grabbed her ankle into the water.

Kakashi's head popped out of the water. He wasn't the one who grabbed Sakura. "Sakura?" He called.

He got worried and swam underwater. 2 people had grabbed hold of Sakura! He swam quickly, only to be blocked by one of the ninja who had Sakura.

Sakura struggled but couldn't break free. It was hard to use jutsus in water, on top of that, Sakura was a slow swimmer She could only watch as Kakashi fought to try to save her.

Sakura opened her eyes. what just happened? She felt like she had been hit on the head. She never did well in water. "Where am I?" She said slowly. "You're in a prison.." Said a rough voice. Sakura jerked up from her lying down position. "Who are you!?" She asked, gritting her teeth. "It's better if you don't know who i am." Said the green haired shinobi.

Sakura ran to the bars and attempted to break through them. Once she lay her fist upon the metal, she shrieked and fell on the ground. "It's charkra proof.. it sends shock waves into your pathetic body.." The shinobi grinned mischeviously. "LET ME OUT! WHAT DO YOU WANT??!!" Sakura shouted. "And where's kakashi!!??" She demanded. The shinobi laughed.

"Like you, the son of the white fang doesn't do good in the water. Well, he has a reason for it. Did he not tell you?" The shinobi asked. Sakura shook her head. "Hm... It's better if you don't know why he isn't good in water. And you're wondering why I've brought you here.." He said.

"I see you and Kakashi have a very special.. relationshiop to each other. It's more than a sensei to student companionship. I've been spying on you two for a while, along with my friend. If Kakashi wants you back. He'd have to face his ultimate fear of the water. That river is the only way in here." He explained.

"This is the underground??" Sakura asked. The shinobi nodded. "And what will happen when he finds me?" She added. The shinobi laughed. "He'd have to face me. Which he would most likely loose. And if he looses the battle, we'd tie him up with a jutsu, and will die along with you. Lovers dying together. He'd loose another love. That's the saddest part," The shinobi grinned.

"He won't loose to you! And he'd set me free. I'd punch a hole inside your head!" Sakura shouted. The response from Sakura only earned a giant roar of laughter. "One more thing, though you may not feel it, that prison absorbs all your chakra at an ultra fast pace. You're unable to use any form of jutsu. Even the sharingan won't break through this prison. The saddest part is that he won't be able to set you free."

Sakura growled. "Do you really want to hear about the story behind his fear of water? And that girl you're so eager to hear about??" He asked. Sakura's eyes went wide and she nodded.

"Kakashi Sensei! You're bleeding!" Naruto shouted, rushing to assist his sensei. Sasuke stood shocked. "They've got Sakura." Kakashi said. "Who?" Sasuke asked. "You couldn't save her?" Naruto asked. Kakashi shook his head. "I fear the water." He said, causing sweat drops down Naruto and Sasuke's heads. "It's personal. Send me to a medic nin and we'd set off to find her. I know exactly where they are holding her," Kakashi instructed,

Kakashi & Iyuki were on the tree near the river. Kakashi sat nearer to her. Iyuki was gazing at the cherry blossom trees. Kakashi placed his hand on her shoulder. Iyuki turned around. Kakashi placed the cherry blossom clip on Iyuki's hair. Iyuki blushed at her lover. "Thanks, It's beautiful," Iyuki hugged him.

"No prob," Kakashi smiled. Iyuki looked up at him. "You know when we became love birds..." Iyuki started. "What about it?" Kakashi asked, cradling her in his arms. "You said that you wouldn't hide a thing from me," Iyuki added.

"And?" Kakashi asked.
"There's still one thing you've kept hiding from me," Iyuki replied.
Kakashi blushed and turned away. "I don't know what you're talking about,"
Iyuki placed her hand on his shoulder and made him turn around. Kakashi couldn't help but look at her beautiful gold eyes.

Iyuki placed her hands on his mask, and slowly pulled it down. Kakashi looked away from her. Then as he slowly lifted his head, Iyuki blushed. "If i were you, I'd have no reason to hide it.." She giggled.

back in reality, Kakashi opened his eyes. He wasn't sleeping, instead he was day dreaming of the past. He couldn't stop thinking about Iyuki and Sakura. He turned to the medic nin treating him. "Are you done?" He asked.

The medic nin nodded. "Just a while more, Kakashi san."

"And?" sakura asked.

"They were intimate.." The shinobi replied.

"But why did you kill the girl?"

"I didn't do anything to harm the girl. She went missing on one of her hunter ninja missions."

"Wait. I'm confused."

A sweatdrop went down the shinobi's head.

"I guessed so. Okay. Why I'm so against Kakashi? Because he was sent on a mission to kill me. But what did he do? He killed my girl. And as I held onto her dying body, he just stood there. I told him to kill me and end my suffering. He ran off. I was on grief for a very long time. You would have NO idea." The shinobi said.

Sakura's angry face turned to pity.

"That night, my girl had died. So I cried for a whole night straight. The next day, I planned something. Since he had caused so much hurt to me, why not I do the same to him? He doesn't know how it feels to loose a girl he loves so much." The shinobi added.

A tear creeped down Sakura's face. "But I had no idea. why am i the victim in this? I've lost people in my life as well..." Sakura said softly.

More tears slid down her face as she started to shout. "I'VE LOST MANY PEOPLE. I NEVER KNEW OF YOUR LOSS. WHY ME??!!"

The shinobi stayed silent for a moment. "It was supposed to be Iyuki, but... she went missing. You see," The shinobi stood up and looked at Sakura, pointing at the clip.

"Kakashi admitted his love for Iyuki when he gave her that clip. He must be in love with you. He kissed you, and he gave you that clip. It's the proof. There I thought you were a smart girl..." The shinobi laughed.

Sakura gritted her teeth. "I'm sure he didn't kill her intentionally!" She shouted. "KAKASHI-SENSEI ISN'T LIKE THAT!" She spat.

"There's many things YOU DON'T KNOW about 'kakashi-sensei'. You have no idea about what kind of a man he was when he was younger. Do you know about his past? Do you know that his father was a ninja whose standards were that of a lengendary sanin?" The shinobi asked.

Sakura kept quiet.

"You don't know ANYTHING." The shinobi said, and left Sakura in the dark.

"Where are you going??" Naruto asked, chasing after Kakashi. "I'm going to save Sakura." Kakashi replied. "I'm coming with you!" Naruto yelled. "No." Kakashi said calmly with authority. "You're still on temporary ban from missions until it's safe for you to go out."

"But Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto shouted. "Stay in the village." Kakashi said firmly. Naruto went speechless. He had never seen Kakashi so strict before. "You may get hurt. I don't want that happening to you. Sakura is possibly already hurt. I don't want the same to you." Kakashi walked on.

Naruto followed him. "Kakashi-sensei, please let me go." Naruto pleaded. "Sakura... I can't imagine leaving her! I... i think i'm in love with her, sensei." Naruto said sadly. "If you let me go, I promise i won't try to peek at your face again!!" Naruto begged.

Kakashi stood there. Naruto loves the girl he loves.

"stay in the village"

Kakashi walked on, leaving Naruto behind.

Kakashi started to run. Running to the river. i have to rescue Sakura. I can't let him kill her.. i won't lose another love. Kakashi said to himself.

Kakashi stood in front of Iyuki's grave stone. He closed his eyes as the pouring rain stung him. Placing his hand on the stone, he falls to his knees.

Jiraiya placed his hand on Kakashi's shoulder and kneeled beside him.

"I should have protected her... I promised I would... I failed her... i failed..." Kakashi said. ANd for the first time in a long time, he cried. Obito was his best friend. gone. Rin was his close friend. gone. Minato, his sensei. gone. his father, gone. his mother, gone. all his close relatives were gone.

and now..

Iyuki was gone.
