when I think back of that day...
that day you were screaming my name...
begging me to stay.
Trying to do everything you could to stop me from leaving.
But I didn't listen to you...
I couldn't.
I knew that if I had stayed there...
in that village...
that the villagers and everyone else would have known that I had killed my whole clan (except for Sasuke)...

the blood had of course washed away...but the rememberence of that day is still on those hands...
