Temari looked up toward the sky. Shikamaru was late. He told Temari to meet him here at 12:00. It is already 12:30.
A small cloud whizzed close to earth. Instinctively Temari jumped back, was it headed for her? The cloud came to a stop right where Temari had been seconds before and out of it popped....

.... a letter. Temari grabbed the letter and cautiously peeled it open. She read..
Dear Temari,
If you aren't Temari then burn this letter immediately. If you are Temari then well don't burn this. It was too troublesome to get out of bed this morning so I sent you a letter. Keep watching the sky, something might happen.
Shikamaru

Temari read through the letter again. She couldn't believe it. After hanging out and playing shogi with that bastard he was blowing her off.
She forced herself to calm down. Temari sits sown and looks to the sky.
Maybe something will happen.
Another cloud breaks away from the group and comes spinning towards earth. Temari looks at it in dismay. More of Shikamaru and his crazy mail.
At about 50 feet off the ground the cloud changed direction and took off back into the sky. After a few seconds it seemed to find its 'spot' and settle in. Soon a whole other bunch of clouds have seemingly made a pattern in the sky. Temari shifted her gaze and that’s when she saw it. She groaned, Not another letter.

The clouds hold their shape for a few seconds and then just float away. Temari takes a deep breath. It’s about time he asked her. Actually Gaara asked her to stay in Konoha for now since she was the ambassador for Suna. Now she had a good reason to say yes.
Temari took off to find Shikamaru. That lazy ass had better have a good excuse on why he couldn't deliver his own message
