Wow, that was really good. You kept them totally in character, but at the time time, you showed a side of them that's not often seen. Very nice, I enjoyed it a lot.

so angsty, but sooooooo goood! i love jiraiya and tsunade as a pair. i always have. he's so carefree and she has so much emotinal baggage. it's hard. *sigh* thank you for this.

damn. that's what i think about when i read this story.
this is incredibly well written, very thoughtful and well composed. i love the depth of feelings that you have with tsunade and jiraiya. they are a tragic pairing and it's beautiful.
you've done amazingly well here. i really love the way you characterized jiraiya. they caring, nonchalant man that he is while still being so observant and dedicated to the people he cares about. i love that you've managed to make him so dedicated to tsunade that he's willing to do whatever it is she needs, whatever it is that she wants. he's willing to suffer if it'll make her happy.
and the way you wrote tsunade. i love that peeking at him was a common occurrence, that she did it often. it made me happy. even though she's a tough old bird, a strong and independent woman, sometimes, she just needs to be held, sometimes she just needs to not be that. i really, really liked that aspect of the this story.
this is beautiful, and it made me angst. but that's all good. great job baby!
