When I first joined...I believe it was Holy Angel Sakura and Oni_Chan who guided me into being a better author and such...
Usually to improve you send out a fic and wait for someone to help you ^_^ But you are PREPARED! Thats cool.
About the only things you need to know are what Wild Flower and A Vampires Butterfly have already pointed out to you.
*nervous giggle*...I am terrible at spelling and grammer and such so I still have a lot of help...and for now spell check.
And please for the love of god space everything *cries* that is the best thing you can do!
My favorite pairing? *points to name and giggles*...and also almost as much is ItachiXNaruto *drools* well good luck with your fics and such...if you would like me to read them once you have them out tell me somehow and I would be happy to!...and just to let you know a lot of people HATE really long chapters unless the story is AWESOME so wait until/if you make long chapters ^_^ Later!

Hi there! New people are so fun to meet! *shakes hand* Okay now first, good grammar and such are always things I, myself look for, as do many other authors. But I can see that that has already been pointed out. Please, please listen to that! So many good stories are never read because of lack of grammar, spelling, etc. If you want ideas for some fics, 'What do you want' By RamanFox is really helpful. And 'New?' by me is also very helpful for newbies. But once again that has already been pointed out. *sweat drop* The fun with writing fanfics is getting the most unusual pairings and making the reader really think it could happen. Hi there! I'm a bit new here too, I joined in March, but I'd be glad to give you some advice.
First of all, If you want people to read your fic, you need to have proper spelling, punctuation, grammer, exc. If you don't you will lose many readers.
Next, do not coppy other peoples' work. That's just not nice.
When writting, make paragraphs. It is easier to read then.
If you don't have any ideas, try listening to music. It works wonderfully for me.
I suggest you look at New? by A Vampires Butterfly. It has loads of advice for you.
Oh, and my favorite yaoi pairings are SasukexNaruto, KakashixIruka, GaaraxNaruto, ItachixNaruto, NejixLee, KakashixGai, and KibaxShino. I guess I love any Yaoi pairing.
