My god. This is so inspiring and so strange. In my own fic, there is a character that appears exactly the same way.
The same emotions imprisoned in a dying soul. The same need for blood to wash away the dirt on once soul. This is amazing. But not only that. It is more. Nothing that can be explained by plain words. When I read this I was ovwewhelmed with sentiments without names, memories that were not mine. Your text is making a contact with somebody else's soul in the way that you get caught in the trap of thinking it is your own.
One word: intoxicating.
It is too bad you won't continue it. I would have loved to see the developement of that young woman's mind, soul and heart to finally see her shatter in beauty.

Author's Response: Oh my God... Thank you, it sounds so insufficient but I don't know what else to say... I've never received a review quite like yours... I had no idea this fic would touch anyone this deep. The character, I don't even have a name for her, has been in my mind for some time and I'm thinking about writing a fic about her that would take place after this one. Though I'm not sure I could...keep it together, keep the mood so to say. But with your encouraging words I just might give it a try.
