First of all, sorry for being so so behind in your other story and then only getting to this after you've finished. I've been busy lately or I wouldn't have taken so long.

I really enjoy the concept of a ShinoOc story since I haven't really seen many at all. Shizu is also an interesting character in the way she seems to be getting used to everything after being sheltered because of her dangerous ability. It makes it interesting to read her reactions to everything.

Is Shino actually the heir or did you make it that way for the story? And also, aren't they only 15-16 here? How could that be delayed to making an heir, especially during this time? Then again you could be thinking of the time girls were expected to produce almost soon after they reached their teens. I can't remember if that was Japan or not, but I do remember somewhere heirs were coupled up quickly and expected to have children fast. However, if you're not thinking of this time, I don't think they'd be behind. Sorry for the rambling there. Did not mean to do that

I feel Shino and Choji need more love sent their way lol(I've been kicking around a ChojixOc idea but nothing yet) As far as if Shibi Aburame is the head of the clan, is just really speculation on my part and what I've gathered from the manga and anime. Iruka Umino's class seems to be made up of mostly the children of the heads of the major clans ie Shikamaru, Choji, Sasuke, Hinata and Ino even Kiba could be put in this group since it also seems his mom is the head of their clan. You never see any other children from these clans(except in flashbacks you see a young Torune Aburame who gave me the idea of the nano) As far as the age, from what I've researched once a girl hits puberty and is able to bare children they are married off for various reasons depending on the location and time. So technically speaking Shizu could have been married off to Shino sooner except for her lack of controlling the nano and the Naruto world is a little more civilized than the time of the stone age lol. Hope that answered some of your questions. I am a stickler for researching which is why this story took me so long to finish. I've watched so many(dubbed)episodes of Shino talking to try and keep his speech pattern and mannerisms as close as I could to canon. Plus, just to give into my own curiosity, the reason the Aburame dress like they do and wear sunglasses which I give in the story but it's just speculation on my part.

And you know what, your cheeky little Aburame is growing on me. She is such a strange mix between the Aburame coolness and something like wanting to be accepted. I guess it goes back to that abandoned-child concept that gets to me. Nonetheless, great job, author!
