Author's Response: I'm sorry I scared you with that last episode, really I am. But it was totally necessary for Ross' character development. These next couple of episodes are all about Ross' growth and personal development since teaming up with Zabuza. I think it was good for the story's plot to add in this extra arch, almost like a filler arch in the anime but with a point XD

Anyways, great chapter, though I'm disappointed that there was no Zabuza vs. Kisame fight :(
But, with a four chapter update, what can I really complain about?
These chapters were amazing! I loved them all! You stuck to the storyline very well, but adding Ross in obviously just made it better. And her presence didn't ruin it either, like with some OCs and how they magically defeat Itachi and Kisame.
I know I say this all the time, but I love your OC and your story. The way you write it is amazing. Excellent work, great job! Keep up the awesome work, this is a wonderful story.

Oh, I liked the reference to Danzo. The way you randomly bring in characters seems like a very intersting foreshadowing technique.

Seriously, that's such a creepy way to open up a scene. She woke up next to him! Zabuza has no respect for personal space!
But wow, I loved the battle! That was intense, and everything flowed brilliantly. It was all very descriptive and well thought out. It was vivid enough for me to gasp in all the right places and tense whenever Ross looked about ready to lose.
Great work with this, I can't wait for more! Keep up the awesome work!

This story is so awesome! I've never read anything like it! I absolutely love Ross and the plot. It's so original. There's always the cliche 'girl ends up in the Narutoverse', but I love your version of it so much better! It's amazing! I cannot wait for more, I hope you update soon!

Great chapter! The entire Ebisu vs. Ross thing was very believable, I loved every moment of it. And then Zabuza made his epic return, and he was every bit in character, just as always.

That's actually a really smart deal: Ross learns to read, and Konohamaru gets a teacher. Ooh, I can't wait to see how Ross handles having Konohamaru of all people teaching her how to read the language. Interesting twist, original and unique, just as always with you :D
And we see some more of Ross's thoughts about Lance. Poor Ross doesn't seem to know what to think about him. Hehe, can't wait to see how the two of them work out their... relationship, for lack of a better word.

Wow, Lance is just so...likable, no matter how evil he is supposed to be. And I loved the little insight into his past life. It's cool to see more about who he is/was. But what was really awesome was the fact that you tied in the reaper who took Orochimaru's arms and was supposed to kill the Hokage. I thought that was really creative, and you're easily filling in any possible holes. Great job. Now I'm off to read the next one!
