I've seen a couple of people stop reading because they didn't like one chapter, but if they would have waited they would have seen things turned out the way they wanted the very next chapter.

How old should Konohamaru be now? I wouldn't have expected him to be ANBU, it seems like a stretch. Other than that, I wasn't expecting an update until tomorrow or so and I instantly lit up to see Last Chance at the top of the most recent list ^_^
Another great chappie :D the only flaws I noticed were the repeated use of "the lest I could do" instead of "the least" and using "her" instead of "here.
Author's Response: Thank you for finding that egregious spelling error of 'here'. I about had a cow and spit my soda all over when I saw how the sentence read. o_0
Konohamaru would be about 14 or 15. Itachi was an ANBU Captain by 13 and Konohamaru was trained to be Hokage from the age of 5 so it's not that big of a leap.

GO NARUTO! tell those old people off! but i do have one thing to say...-ahem- doesn't the council control the hokage? i mean all the hokage is there for is military command and protection of the village. and the council controls the rest of the village. just like the daimyou controls the land of fire. its kind of like the president is to us, but the congress pretty much controls the US. ??? i think i was smart for a second....HEY! do you want to know what the wrapper of my dove chocolate says?! hmmm...it says.....'go to your special place.'....O.O why the heck would they put that on a 'DOVE' wrapper?! hmmm... caramel filled chocolate....i wonder what naruto and sasuke would do with that....*drools* you didn't hear that! yes i am aware of my pervertedness....and i love it! >.< i love this chappy! and sasuke was sooo...sensitive... You're right that is a mental break down xD You pulled it off really well. The foil of Sasuke's normal behaviour is easily conducted through Naruto so it's clearly a problem with the character not that you're suddenly writing him OOC. But this develops curiousity now...is Sasu-chan preggers?! :O...don't laugh at me, this is the world of magical ninjas...magical ninja fanfiction no less xD
