Do you know that I watch you every day?
That I watch you train,
That I listen as you talk to your friends,
That I listen in agony as you show your affections to someone who will never return them?
Can you feel my joy?
Can you feel my joy, Naruto?
The joy that I feel when you look at me?
When I see your cheery smile,
When you say hello as you pass me by?
As I watch you walk my way?
Can you feel my pain?
Can you feel my pain, Naruto?
The pain of not being loved?
The pain of being too afraid to tell someone how you feel?
The pain of loving someone from the shadows,
The pain of loving someone so deeply, but receiving nothing in return?
I wish that you could feel what I feel, Naruto.
That you could feel my love,
That you could feel my joy,
That you could feel my pain.
I wish that you would love me back.
Maybe someday,
