Sasuke-

For some reason i've always loved you Naruto.

Why is that?

Is it because of your smile?

Your smiles are so beautiful Naruto.

Your always smiling.

I always want to smile back and say 'gods you look beautiful when you smile'.

But I don't.

Instead I just look away.

Why do I always do that Naruto?

Is it because I don't want you to know I love you?

Why am I so afraid of telling you that I love you?

I know why.

It's because of the word REJECTION.

And rejection hurts Naruto.

Do you know?

Of course you know.

You've probly known your whole life.

Rejection.

Such an awful and sad word.

and you've had to deal with that your whole life.

Being rejected by people.

It must hurt.

That's why I don't want to tell you.

I don't want to get hurt.

I've already gotten hurt.

It happened when Itachi had killed mother and father.

And...I don't want to get hurt again.

But...I don't want to stay like this either.

I don't want to keep wondering....

I want to know.

But what if you don't like me in that kind of way?

What if you just want to be my friend and nothing more?

I don't want to be your friend Naruto.

I want to be more than a friend to you.

Because I love you...so...so...much.

So i'll tell you...

Why?

Why do you make me feel this way?

Feel like my legs are going to give up on me whenever I see you?

Feel like I have afever because my cheeks are so hot from staring at you for too long?

Feel butterfly's in the pit of my stomach when I think about you?

Feel like I just want to kiss you right then and there when I see,but barely,that little smile. That little smile that a person couldn't see unless they look really closely at you.

Why don't you show you're emotions?

Why?

You don't have to hide your smiles.

You don't have to hide your cry's,your sadness.

You don't have to hide you're happiness!

People like it when you smile Sasuke.

People will comfort you if your sad.

And most of all....people like it when your happy!

Sasuke you don't have to hide anyhting.

Just BE YOURSELF.

Have you ever heard of those three words Sasuke?

They're called JUST BE YOURSELF.

That's all you have to do. Is to be yourself.

Why don't you want people to see your cries,happiness and your smiles?

Do you think they will laugh at you?

They won't.

People can't really tell what your thinking Sasuke,because you hide your emotions.

But I can read you like a book. Perfectly.

I know when your lieing,sad,angry and happy.

I can tell by your eyes.

They're so empty. So lifeless.

It's like they're waiting for someone to come and make their life all right again.

Your eyes are always empty and lifeless when your by everyone.

But when it's just me and you....your eyes seem to....

They seem to light up a little. Become less lifeless.


Why is that Sasuke?

Is it because we're best friends?

Is it because I ask you if somethings wrong when something is but nobody else asks?

Is it because you....love me?

I keep on asking myself the same questions over and over again.

Do you love me?

Those are the three words I ask myself every day.

But whenever I think about those three words I get scared.

I get scared that i'll get rejected.

I don't want you to reject me Sasuke.

Because rejection hurts....a lot....

Sometimes so much you want to kill yourself or runaway from the world.

And I don't want that because I...I love you Sasuke.

I love you so...so....much.

So i'll ask you.

I'll ask you these three words.

That's what i'll ask you.

Sasuke-

I'm walking through town.

But I don't see you.

Not anywhere.

Where could you be Naruto?

By the ramen shop maybe?

I'll check by the ramen shop.

As I walk through the shop I see you.

So I quickly walk to where you are and ask "Can I join you?"

You just nod.

but your mouth isn't full of ramen,so why didn't you just say yes?

Are you mad at me?

Are you sad?

Because you're eyes look so....empty.

Sort of like mine.

And I can't help but think 'why are your eyes so empty?'

I don't want your eyes to be like mine.

So empty....so lifeless.

You shouldn't be like that.

But you just sit there with a bowl of ramen full,not even eaten a little bit.

Where's the Naruto I know?

The Naruto I know wouldn't be sitting there not eating.

The Naruto I knew would be grinning happily eating his ramen asking for 2nds,3rds and so on.

Where did that Naruto go? "Umm...what's wrong dobe?" I ask.

He doesn't answer. He just looks down.

But then he looks up grinning like he's alright.

I know your not alright Naruto.

I can tell. By your eyes.

They still look empty and lifeless.

"I know your not alright dobe. What's wrong?"I ask once again.

And so he starts telling me.

He tells me that he like's this one guy.

He said he's not going to mention the name.

He like's this guy a lot.

He has for awhile.

But he doesn't know if the guy likes him back.

So he's all sad and worried.

He's sad because he thinks that the guy he likes doesn't like him back in that kind of way.

He's worried because he's scared of getting rejected.

So I told him to just ask the person.

He says he will and thanks me.

Then,right out of the open he says "Sasuke....do you love me?"

All thoughts in my head were gone.

I couldn't think straight.

My eyes were wide. Very wide.

"Naruto I-"

but I was interupted....by Ino.

That stupid bitch.

She should just go and die or something.

As long as she doesn't bother me OR naruto.

She asks if I would like to go out with her.

This makes Naruto's head go down lower.

I say no of course.

Who the hell would say yes to her?

She leaves crying.

But I don't care.

Now I can finaly say 'I love you Naruto.'

"Naruto I lo-"

"I gotta go."says Naruto.

He runs out of the ramen shop.

Is he crying?

I've got to catch up to him to tell him how I feel.

Naruto-

I'm running.

I hear your voice calling my name.

I don't want to hear your what your answer is Sasuke.

I don't want to get rejected.

So i'll just run....

Run untill I reach my apartment.

Who knew that running this fast would be tireing?

Ah...good.

There's my apartment.

I run to apartment door.

Get my keys out...

and unlock my door.

I can still hear your voice. It's getting closer...and closer...

Shit!

I have to open this door fast!

I try to unlock my door.

I won't unlock.

Great.

Now i'm starting to panic.

It still won't unlock.

Now i'm freaking out.

"Naruto! Wait!"yelled Sasuke.

I can see him now.

He's running up the stairs and....

YES!

My door finaly unlocked.

Just in time.

So I open my door,get in and lock my door again so Sasuke can't get in.

I tell him i'm not opening the door.

'So you're not going to open the door huh?! Fine! I'll just knock it down!'

And bang!

The door gets knocked down.

Oh my god.

How did he knock down the door?

Oh crap....

He's walking twords me.

I gotta run!

"Naruto wait....."

omg....he...he loves me back!

"I....I love you too Sasuke!"cries Naruto while huging Sasuke.
