Summary: Much like "Smile". Another dark poem, from Sasuke's POV. I wrote this ages ago, before I even knew what manga was. If you had walked up to me then and told me I'd be addicted to anime not long after being exposed to it, I'd ask if you were drunk. Not anymore! Anyways. I found the file on my computer and realized that it fit Sasuke's personality so much that it was creepy.

These voices inside
Finding no one to confide
Done lying
Alone and awake at night
Forevermore warring in this internal fight
Done wandering
Around this town
Can’t stop myself from falling down
Done wishing
For that false eternal calm
Nothing can seem to pause this qualm
Done whispering
As I walk, to myself
Remembering the photographs on my bedroom shelf
Done knowing
I could have stayed
But instead I left and started to fade
Done thinking
This life of waste
Of what I’ve forgotten in my haste
Done feeling
This angst, this hate
Wishing to find how to break my fate.
