Author's Response: No, Sasuke is in the year behind him. He is in Neji, Lee, and TenTen's class, though he IS the same age as in canon.

I really like your story. The plot and storyline is very well done. I really enjoy your story and hope you finish it and not just quit half way through like a lot of people do on here. The only thing I don't like about the story is that you made the Kyūbi a disease to Naruto instead of letting him use the fox like in the series. Though now that I think about it are you trying to make Naruto less invicible like in the series? If you are please tell me.
P.S Nice artwork you are very talented and I enjoy the visual of Naruto at the beginning of each chapter it really helps me visualize how he looks in each chapter.
Author's Response:Thank you for your comment! I'm glad you are enjoying the story for the most part. The Kyuubi thing is because I felt like by giving Naruto such a power boost as the Mokuton will grant him, he would become an exceedingly boring character and utterly invincible if he could still use the fox's regeneration right off the bat. He will be over-coming that restriction during the course of the story, but I didn't want to start it out as a Super!Naruto. I also had to take into consideration how Kyuubi being sealed inside a Mokuton user would work, and didn't think this was an unrealistic way to depict it. Additionally, I wanted to give him a good reason to learn some medic-jutsu. What good are medic jutsu to someone who regenerates automatically?
I hope I've answered your questions, and that you can over look the not-completely-invincible!Naruto I'm creating. He will get more powerful and over-come his hurdles in time. Thanks again, and I'm glad you like the artwork! :)

keep up the great work, hope the next chapter is up soon. I am glad you kept his chakra type wind, it will be cool to see how he could combined the wind with his bloodline limit. And it might be cool to see him combine the 4th transport jutsu with the first Forest Genesis. This is a very interesting story, only one like it i read, keep up the good work.

Wow, one I want to say sorry, I have been reading this story since you started and I somehow forgot to review, and also I just wanna say that this is probably the only reason I really come onto TONFA anymore, nobody writes anything good anymore, this on the other hand is a gret breath of fresh air from all of the slash trash...hey looky i ryhmed ^^, but yeah, I like this story a lot, and well Ivy is freaking awesome.

There's a small interlude after this chapter, then he finally gets to konoha! :) I have to admit, I really enjoyed writing younger!Naruto and will probably make a seperate story to post more of his chibi!adventures, but we'll be getting to the "good stuff" in this story soon! I'd be willing to read the mini-arc, but flashbacks aren't a bad alternative, just a little annoying at times. It's easier to refer to something than to try and make someone understand only the important bit when the setting around it is actually just as important.

Hey, hey, fillers aren't necessarily a bad thing. They're only bad when they come in a long succession (like a five-episode long filler; after a while it gets kinda boring unless it's full of surprises and mystery that leaves everyone guessing).
Did your beta think that the filler's actual plot was nice? Or maybe you could give a little info on the plot itself to the reviewers and see if they'd like to see it or not.
It really all depends if you can keep the story interesting and/or exciting.
I'm not sure if my advice is really that helpful, but that's my opinion and you're free to think about it. This is your story, after all.
Enough with the long review! I really enjoy this story; keep it up! -big grin and a thumbs up-
Author's Response: Thanks! I appreciate the input. :) My beta didn't really say much about the plot - I think he's getting a bit sick of younger Naruto, actually. ^^;; His main point was that I spent three chapters on an adventure that didn't really get him any closer to Konoha. The main purpose of the arc is to show where Naruto is, skillwise, at around 8 without just telling it in boring exposition. I wanted to showcase his skills at somepoint before he goes back. On top of that, the arc gives him a political connection that will be useful later and goes more into detail about the practical complications of Kyuubi and his kekkei gankai.

This is an AMAZING story so far. I love it so much and keep up the great work! It's just so different than anything I've read before, and I'd love to read this mini-story arc!

Author's Response:*L* well, Naruto wil have his share of fangirls, but this won't be a pairing oriented fic. I'm not so big on the 12 yr old romance - beyond that, I don't care much for most of the female cast - at least not enough to make them main characters, and generally I prefer genfic. ;)
