I'm gonna start by saying that I really like the suspense at the ending there. = u=
Although I can understand why people have an issue with Karin, I think giving her a little bit more credit couldn't hurt. I mean, I know she can be a little aggravating and downright annoying, but she's apparently worthy of being hand-picked by Sasuke to join him, hence the "little bit more credit" thing. Then again, I still really how everything played out and given the fact that she's the protagonist and the girl with a thing with Sasuke and all, it makes sense. :'D
Now I must rock back and forth in a dark corner, wondering what's going on with Rayne. [/shakes fist at]

Author's Response: Why thank you ¬u¬ I spent a lot of time planning that ending...
I never liked Karin. Ever =3= ..all she did (in my eyes) was serve as a compass for Sasuke. And, as you said, there's the natural tension between Karin and Rayne because of Sasuke. Not that Karin knows that yet because Rayne appeared before her as Samui..but chyeah. I don't have work tomorrow, and I already started working on the second chapter, SO, it SHOULD be up tomorrow. Should. Thank you for reviewing! It's nice to have you along for the ride (:

Author's Response: I posted this at exactly 8:41 EST. I know this because I sent my friend the following text: "FUCK YEAH! I JUST POSTED MY SEQUEL! SOOOOO EXCIIIIITEDDD!!!" I have no idea what time zone this site is set up with, since the time stamp on these reviews says 8:00ish now

in the original japanese, his name was pronounced "Kirabi" Kishimoto later said that this was meant to be "killer bee" in english, as a fan of the japanese over the dub, I think of him as Kirabi or Kira Bi, and if/when he appears in my fic that's what he'll be called. I'm just stubborn like that :P
Author's Response: See, I'm an asshat that read the Shippuden manga. I've barely watched any of the episodes. Why? I really have no idea. So, I didn't really know that was how it was pronounced originally.. but if it's meant to be Killer Bee, then that's how I'll spell it. If I really wanted to be neurotic, I'd start using "san" "chan" "kun" "nii" etc.

I'mna be a nerd here and incist that he's Kira Bi. now I've got that out of my system, I like the way samui comes in and pwns everyone! you got karin exactly right lol. I think karin should've been punched. and now the important question how the hell is rayne alive? did she replace samui? is she posesing samui? WHAT'S THE DEAL?
Author's Response: I had an equally hard time trying to figure out how to spell his name. Kira Bi. Killer Bee. Killa B. Killer... WHY ARE THERE SO MANY DIFFERENT SPELLINGS?!?!?!?! I chose Killer B because that's how the admin's spelled his name in the character listings :3
I'm not going to tell you anything! ...yet. But to clarify, Rayne transformed to appear as Samui so Karin and the others didn't see her beautiful face ;D
