I was actually reading this with a melody in my head. What tune I was using, I honestly couldn't tell you. But it worked for me, which helped me enjoy this poem so much more :) The only thing I have to complain about is the colons. I've never seen a poem with them, so I wonder if it actually flows with those there. But that's very minor and possibly just something that tends to irk only me since I'm a grammar freak. But this poem was really good and very relatable. I liked it, nice job.
