100 years ago, the Five Great Shinobi Nations fell to Madara Uchiha in the Fourth Great Ninja War. When the Hachibi and Kyuubi demons were extracted from their Jinchuuriki, Madara succeeded in his Moon's Eye Plan, casting an "Infinite Tsukuyomi" on the entire world.

Now, in the present, Madara Uchiha still lives and spreads a false peace among the world through his genjutsu. This ultimate tsukuyomi was meant to leave everyone in the world under the control of the immortal man.

However, a selected group of people, descendants of respectable shinobi, have been released from the genjutsu due to a twist of fate. Now it is up to this band of chosen people to somehow defeat Madara and break the genjutsu that has lasted for 100 years.

This group of people must somehow work together and rely on the two things they have in common: an unknown destiny and forgotten ancestries.
